Background

The method for refining the grains by deforming the material is a method for obviously improving the strength and the plasticity of the material. The prior art mainly comprises the following two types:

(2) Equal channel extrusion process (ECAP):

the diameter of the material is not changed in the extrusion process, but the material is subjected to strong shear deformation at the corner of the die, so that the material with ultra-fine grains can be obtained by carrying out large plastic deformation on the material through ECAP. However, the material obtained by this method is generally short in length and limited by the mold, and thus cannot be widely used in the engineering field.

(1) the grain size of the material obtained by the method is small and can reach below 1 mu m generally, so that the plasticity of the material is ensured while the strength of the material is greatly improved;

(2) the method can obtain the material with larger size in the length direction so as to meet the requirements of engineering application on the material.
