Technical Field

The present invention relates to an air conditioning system including a heat exchange unit connected to a plurality of air-conditioned spaces via a plurality of air supply paths, respectively, and a refrigerant amount setting method thereof.

Background

Patent document 1 describes an air conditioner. The air conditioner is provided with: a refrigerant detection device provided on an outer surface of the indoor unit; and a control unit that controls the indoor air supply fan to rotate when the refrigerant detection device detects the refrigerant. In this air conditioning apparatus, when the refrigerant leaks into the room from the extension pipe connected to the indoor unit, or when the refrigerant leaking from the inside of the indoor unit flows out of the indoor unit through a gap in the casing of the indoor unit, the leaked refrigerant can be detected by the refrigerant detection device. Further, by rotating the indoor blower fan after the refrigerant detection device detects the refrigerant leakage, the air in the room is sucked in through the suction port provided in the casing of the indoor unit, and the air is discharged into the room through the discharge port, so that the leaked refrigerant can be diffused.

Patent document 1: japanese patent No. 4599699

For example, in an air conditioning system that performs air conditioning of a plurality of air-conditioned spaces using one refrigerant circuit, the amount of refrigerant may be large relative to the volume of each air-conditioned space. In such an air conditioning system, when leakage of the refrigerant occurs, there is a problem that the refrigerant concentration in the air-conditioned space may increase even if the leaked refrigerant is uniformly diffused in any of the air-conditioned spaces.

Disclosure of Invention

The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and an object thereof is to provide an air conditioning system and a refrigerant amount setting method thereof that can prevent the refrigerant concentration in an air-conditioned space from becoming high even if refrigerant leaks.

An air conditioning system according to the present invention includes: a refrigerant circuit that circulates a refrigerant; a heat exchange unit that houses a load-side heat exchanger of the refrigerant circuit and is connected to a plurality of air-conditioned spaces via a plurality of air supply paths through which air that has passed through the load-side heat exchanger is supplied, respectively; a refrigerant detection device that detects leakage of the refrigerant; and a plurality of opening/closing devices that are provided in the plurality of gas supply paths, respectively, and that open and close independently of each other, wherein when the refrigerant detection device detects leakage of the refrigerant, all of the plurality of opening/closing devices are in an open state.

A refrigerant quantity setting method for an air conditioning system according to the present invention is a method for setting a refrigerant quantity for an air conditioning system according to the present invention, and the amount of refrigerant sealed in the refrigerant circuit is set to M [ kg [ [ kg ]]The lower limit concentration of combustion of the refrigerant is LFL [ kg/m ]3]The total volume of the air-conditioned space connected to the heat exchange unit via an opening/closing device that is opened when the refrigerant detection device detects the leakage of the refrigerant is denoted by V [ m ]3]In the case of (3), the sealing amount M is set so that the sealing amount M satisfies the relationship: m < LFL × V.

According to the present invention, even if the refrigerant leaks, the leaked refrigerant can be diffused into the air-conditioned space via the open/close device in the open state, and therefore, the refrigerant concentration in the air-conditioned space can be prevented from becoming high.
