Background

With the development of power electronic technology, the memory capacity of a computer case is larger and larger, which puts higher requirements on the heat dissipation of the case.

Generally, in order to accelerate the heat dissipation of the chassis, a large fan is used as a system fan of the chassis, and the system fan is fixed to a rear plate of the chassis. However, the rear plate of the chassis cannot provide a space for accommodating fans of different sizes, which affects the heat dissipation of the chassis.

Disclosure of Invention

Accordingly, there is a need for a fan fixing device capable of fixing fans of different sizes and enhancing heat dissipation.

A fan fixing device is used for fixing a fan on a case side plate and comprises the case side plate and a fixing seat fixed on the case side plate, wherein a groove used for containing the fan is formed in the fixing seat, a preset distance is formed between the bottom of the groove and the case side plate, and an elastic element used for fixing the fan is arranged in the groove.

In one embodiment, the elastic element includes a positioning column and an elastic hook, the positioning column and the elastic hook are both located at the edge of the groove, and the fan is fixed on the fixing seat through the positioning column and the elastic hook.

In one embodiment, the fixing seat is a trapezoid table, a bottom surface of the trapezoid table is fixed on the case side plate, and the top surface of the trapezoid table is provided with the groove.

In order to make the aforementioned objects, features and advantages of the present invention comprehensible, embodiments accompanied with figures are described in detail below. This invention can be embodied in many different forms than those herein described and many modifications may be made by one skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.

It will be understood that when an element is referred to as being "secured to" another element, it can be directly on the other element or intervening elements may also be present. Referring to fig. 1 to 3, a fan module 100 includes a fan fixing device 200 and a fan 30 fixed on the fan fixing device 200. The fan fixing device 200 includes a case side plate 10 and a fixing base 20 fixed on the case side plate 10. The fixing seat 20 is provided with a groove 11 for accommodating the fan 30, and a predetermined distance is formed between the bottom of the groove 11 and the case side plate 10. An elastic element 110 is arranged in the groove 11, and the fan 30 is fixed on the fixed seat 20 through the elastic element 110.

The elastic element 110 includes a positioning post 111 and an elastic hook 112. The positioning post 111 and the elastic hook 112 are both located at the edge of the groove 11. The fan 30 is fixed on the fixing base 20 through the positioning column 111 and the elastic hook 112.

The groove 11 is of a similar rectangular structure. The positioning posts 111 are located at the corners of the groove 11, and the elastic hooks 112 are located at two sides of the edge of the groove 11.

The fixing base 20 is a trapezoidal table. The bottom surface of the trapezoid table is fixed on the case side plate 10, and the top surface of the trapezoid table is provided with the groove 11.

The shape and size of the fan 30 are not limited as long as the fan can be fixed on the fixing base 20. Since the fixing base 20 is higher than the case side plate 10, the fan 30 has a predetermined distance with respect to the case side plate 10, so that the effect of fixing the fans 30 of different shapes and sizes can be achieved.

The shape of the recess 11 matches the profile of the fan 30. And the size of the fan 30 is larger than that of the recess 11.

The case side plate 10 is provided with a first through hole 22. The fixing seat 20 is provided with a protrusion 12 matched with the first through hole, and the fixing seat 20 is fixed on the case side plate 10 through the first through hole 22 and the protrusion 12.

The protrusions 12 are disposed on both sides of the fixing base 20. The protrusion 12 is a plug board, the first through hole 22 is a button hole matched with the plug board, and the plug board is inserted into and fixed in the button hole to fix the fixing base 20 on the case side plate 10.

And a boss 13 is arranged at the joint of the bottom of the fixed seat 20 and the groove 11. And the boss 13 forms a predetermined interval with the cabinet side plate 10.

The elastic element 110 includes a positioning post 111 and an elastic hook 112. The positioning column 111 is located at the edge of the groove 11, and the elastic hook 112 is located at two sides of the groove 11. The fan 30 is provided with a second through hole 31 matched with the positioning column 111. The positioning hole extends into the second through hole 31, and the elastic hook 112 is fastened to two sides of the fan 30. So as to fix the fan 30 on the fixing base 20.

The fan fixing device 200 is provided with a fixing seat 20 on the case side plate 10, and a groove 11 for accommodating the fan 30 is provided on the fixing seat 20. And the bottom of the groove 11 has a predetermined distance with the case side plate 10. Thereby, the effect of enlarging the radiating surface of the fan is achieved.
