On engines that employ turbocharging, an intercooler bellows is typically required for connecting the engine to the intercooler. With the continuous improvement of the engine power and the compression ratio of the turbocharger, the working temperature and the pressure resistance requirements of the intercooler corrugated pipe are higher and higher. At the same time, intercooler bellows also carry the vibration requirements of the damping system and require excellent flexibility.

At present, the wall thickness of a corrugated pipe of an intercooler in the industry is large, generally about 5mm, and the pressure resistance is about 1 MPa. Meanwhile, the wall thickness is large, the rigidity is increased, the shock absorption performance is reduced, and the cost is high.
