The application relates to but is not limited to the field of coatings, in particular to but not limited to a high-covering coating and a preparation method and application thereof.

Background

Mineral wool boards are a new type of building material and, because of their excellent sound absorption, thermal insulation and fire resistance properties, are widely used in domestic and foreign applications in ceilings of buildings, and in recent years, mineral wool boards are required to have higher decorative properties as the conditions required by people for living environments are continuously increasing. But sometimes the mineral wool board has certain defects on the surface and needs to be covered by paint.

Specifically, the application provides a high-covering paint which comprises the following components in parts by weight:

In some embodiments, the emulsion may be selected from any one or more of a styrene-acrylic emulsion, an acrylic emulsion, and a acrylic emulsion.

In some embodiments, the dispersant may be sodium hexametaphosphate and/or P-19.

In some embodiments, the thickening agent may be selected from any one or more of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, starch, and polyvinyl alcohol.

It is to be understood that the emulsions, dispersants, and thickeners used in the coatings are not limited to the specific materials listed above, which are not intended to limit the application in any way or substantially, and that materials capable of performing the function of the various agents may be used in the preparation of the coatings of the present application.

The present application also provides a method for preparing the high hiding paint as described above, comprising the steps of:
