Detailed Description

Exemplary embodiments of the present invention are described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the detailed description is intended only to teach one skilled in the art how to practice the invention, and is not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the scope of the invention.

Referring to fig. 1 to 3, the axial direction a referred to in the present application refers to the axial direction of the axle 1, which coincides with the direction of the rotation axis of the rotor 41. Since at least some portions of the rotor 41 and the stator 42 are annular, the axial direction a can be considered to coincide with the axial direction of the rotor 41 and the stator 42. The radial direction R and the circumferential direction mentioned in the present application can be easily understood based on the axial direction a.

as shown in fig. 1 to 3, one embodiment of the present invention provides a bogie for a railway vehicle. The bogie comprises an axle 1, an axle box 2, a bearing 3 and a generator 4. The axle housing 2 is supported by the axle 1 via a bearing 3. The bearing 3 includes an inner race 31 mounted to the axle 1, an outer race 32 mounted to the axle housing 2, and a plurality of rolling bodies 33 located between the inner race 31 and the outer race 32.

The generator 4 is a single rotor disc generator. The generator 4 includes a rotor 41, a stator 42, and an end cover 43.

The rotor 41 includes a rotor base 411 and a plurality of magnets 412 as a first power generation function portion attached to the rotor base 411. The rotor base 411 may be made of a ferromagnetic material, so that the rotor base 411 serving as a back plate has a function of guiding and limiting a magnetic field, and a stray magnetic field magnetizing bearing may be prevented.

It should be understood that the first power generating function may also be a coil.

The rotor base 411 includes a circular plate 411A, a positioning flange 411B, and a magnet support ring 411C formed integrally. The circular plate 411A is formed with a plurality of through holes H1, and the rotor 41 can be attached to the shaft end of the axle 1 via a plurality of bolts S1 passing through these through holes H1, so that the rotor 41 rotates together with the axle 1.

The positioning flange 411B extends from the outer peripheral edge of the circular plate 411A toward one axial side, is externally fitted to the axle 1, and abuts against the inner ring 31 of the bearing 3. The rotor base 411 in the present application can replace the shaft end cover in the ordinary axle box structure, and the axial limit of the inner ring 31 of the bearing 3 is realized. In the present embodiment, a certain gap may be left between the disc 411A and the end surface 11 of the axle 1 at the axial end in the axial direction a.

A magnet support ring 411C projects from the outer peripheral edge of the circular plate 411A toward the other axial side and the radially outer side, and a plurality of magnets 412 are arranged along the circumferential direction on the disk face of the other axial side of the magnet support ring 411C. Any adjacent two of the plurality of magnets 412 may have opposite magnetic orientations.

It should be understood that, unless otherwise specified, reference to one axial side in this application refers to the side of the axle 1 and the other axial side refers to the side of the end cap 43.

the magnet support ring 411C extends to the radially outer side of the circular plate 411A, and thus, the magnet support ring 411C provides a larger installation space for the magnet 412.

the stator 42 includes a stator frame 421 and a coil 422 as a second power generation function portion. The stator frame 421 may be mounted to the axle housing 2. The coil 422 may be wound of copper wire and may be fixed to the stator frame 421, for example, by epoxy or the like. The coil 422 is opposed to the magnet 412 of the rotor 41 in the axial direction a. The stator 42 can transmit power without brushes. The stator frame 421 may be made of a non-ferromagnetic material, which avoids magnetic forces between the stator 42 and the rotor 41, simplifying the mounting and dismounting of the generator.

it should be understood that the second power generating function may also be a magnet.

The stator frame 421 includes a mounting frame 421A and a positioning flange 421B. The mounting frame 421A has a substantially rectangular frame shape, four through holes H2 are provided at four corners thereof, and the stator 42 can be mounted to the axle box 2 via a plurality of bolts S2 passing through the through holes H2. A terminal box 423 is disposed at a side of the mounting frame 421A, and the terminal box 423 may be used to accommodate an electric wire or an electric connector connected to the coil 422.

As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the positioning flange 421B is formed in an annular shape and extends from the attachment frame 421A toward one axial side. The positioning flange 421B is fitted to the inner peripheral surface of the axle housing 2, which improves the mounting strength and mounting stability of the stator 42 with respect to the axle housing 2. The distal end (one axial end) of the positioning flange 421B is formed with a step 421C or a lead angle, which reduces the outer diameter of the distal end of the positioning flange 421B, facilitating the fitting of the positioning flange 421B into the axle housing 2. The positioning flange 421B may abut against the outer ring 32 of the bearing 3. This achieves axial retention of the outer ring 32 of the axial 3.

The end cap 43 has a plate shape. The end cover 43 abuts against the stator frame 421 to seal the generator 4. The end caps 43 may be made of ferromagnetic material to enhance the magnetic flux and improve the performance of the generator. By separating the end cap 43 from the stator frame 421, the stator frame 421 and the end cap 43 can be easily made of different materials. In addition, this simplifies the production of the stator frame 421 and the mounting of the coil 422 to the stator frame 421.

The end cover 43 is generally rectangular plate-shaped. Four through holes H3 are formed in the end cover 43, and bolts S2 pass through the through holes H3 and the through holes H2 to mount the end cover 43 and the stator 42 to the axle box 2. The end cover 43 is provided with a convex strip 431 extending towards one axial side, and the convex strip 431 is embedded with the inner circumferential surface of the stator framework 421, so that the positioning precision and the sealing property between the end cover 43 and the stator 42 are improved.

It will be appreciated that one or more sealing rings may additionally be provided to improve the sealing of the generator of the present invention.

The assembly process of the bogie according to the present invention is briefly described below.

The axle 1, the axle housing 2 and the bearing 3 are assembled in a conventional manner. The rotor 41 is fixedly mounted to the shaft end of the axle 1 by passing the bolt S1 through the through hole H1 in the rotor base 411 of the rotor 41 and screwing into a threaded hole formed in the shaft end of the axle 1. At this time, the positioning flange 411B of the rotor base 411 is pressed against the inner ring 31 of the bearing 3, and the inner ring 31 of the bearing 3 is axially restrained.

Then, the bolts S2 are passed through the through holes H3 in the end cover 43 and the through holes H2 in the stator frame 421, and the bolts S2 are screwed into the corresponding screw holes in the axle box 2, thereby fixedly attaching the stator 42 and the end cover 43 to the axle box 2. At this time, the positioning flange 421B of the stator frame 421 presses against the outer ring 32 of the bearing.

when the railway vehicle including the bogie is operated, the axle 1 rotates relative to the axle box 2, the axle 1 rotates the rotor 41 relative to the stator 42, and the coil 422 cuts magnetic lines generated by the magnet 412 to generate electricity.

some of the advantageous effects that can be obtained by the above-described embodiments of the present invention are briefly described below.

The disc generator has low requirement on the coaxiality of the stator and the rotor, can generate electricity at low rotating speed, and has obviously smaller initial torque between the stator and the rotor than that of a drum generator, so that the disc generator is more suitable for shaft end application of a railway vehicle.

the single-rotor disc type generator is simple in structure, small in number of components and convenient to install. The simple construction improves the reliability of the system so that the generator can be easily applied to a bogie structure, which presents significant advantages in installation and operation compared to a drum generator or other structurally complex disc generator.

the positioning flange 411B and the magnet support ring 411C of the rotor base 411 define a substantially L-shaped cross section, and as shown in fig. 3, an annular space SP is enclosed between the rotor base 411, the stator frame 421 and the bearing 3. This structure makes the stator 42 and the rotor 41 lightweight.

As shown in fig. 3, the rotor 41 is accommodated in the stator frame 421, which reduces the axial dimension of the generator.

The dynamic balance of the axle 10 is easily achieved because the rotor 41, the stator 42, and the end cover 43 are all light in weight. Since the stator frame 421 is made of a non-ferromagnetic material and the end cover 43 is formed in a thin plate shape, when the disk generator is detached from the bogie, the magnetic force between the rotor 41 and the stator 42 (frame 43) is small, and the detachment of the generator is easily achieved.

It should be understood that the above embodiments are only exemplary and are not intended to limit the present invention. Various modifications and alterations of the above-described embodiments may be made by those skilled in the art in light of the teachings of the present invention without departing from the scope thereof.

(1) The stator 42 of the present invention is not limited to being attached to the axle box, and may be attached to other fixed portions of a bogie such as a bearing adapter. As shown in the above embodiments, when mounted to the adapter, the stator 42 is also preferably mounted directly (not via other components or structures) to the adapter.

(2) The present invention is not limited to the stator frame 421 and the end cover 43 being mounted to the axle box 2 together via the same bolt S2. For example, the following scheme can be adopted in the invention: the stator frame 421 is mounted to the axle housing 2 with some bolts, and the end cover 43 is mounted to the stator frame 421 with other members or structures (e.g., other bolts).
