The gas main control system comprises an interactive communication module, a pricing module, a database and a gas payment module, wherein the interactive communication module is used for being in data communication connection with a handheld meter reading end, and meanwhile comprises a platform short message module which is used for issuing a gas use short message to a mobile phone of a user to remind of timely payment; the pricing module is used for automatically calculating the gas cost of the household according to the set gas unit price and the received gas use condition of the household; the database is used for storing all the gas household information and the gas numerical value condition of each reading of the valuation; the gas payment module is used for checking and urging to pay gas fee according to the gas account information registered by the user.
