The air-assisted pesticide application increases air flow on the basis of a common pesticide application machine to improve the fog drop speed and the penetrating capacity, but the influence of the characteristics of crop canopy on the air-assisted pesticide application is large, and the penetrating capacity of the dense canopy of rice and wheat is still insufficient. The spraying heads are deeply arranged inside the crop canopies by applying the pesticide under the row canopies, so that the control effect on the crops with large row spacing and high straw content such as corn, cotton and soybean is obviously improved, but the method is not suitable for the rice and wheat crops with small row spacing.

The height monitoring unit uses the single chip microcomputer to filter the received ultrasonic ranging sensor data, adjusts the length of the telescopic rod according to the distance between the spray rod and the crop canopy which is monitored in real time, and ensures the relative height of the push rod and the crop.

In the scheme, when the fixing unit is installed, the U-shaped plate piece is inserted into a spray rod support of the boom sprayer, the distance is adjusted according to the width of the spray rod support, then the nuts of the four first bolts 8 are screwed up to achieve the fixing effect, and the rubber pads are placed at the tail ends of the fixing nuts to achieve the buffering and anti-skidding effects.

In addition, a round hole 10 with the diameter of 18mm is formed in the bottom of the channel steel, the ultrasonic distance measuring sensor 2 is clamped and fixed on the round hole by nuts up and down, a sliding groove 11 is formed in the channel steel, the relative distance between a push rod 18 and a spray rod 16 is adjusted in the advancing direction of the machine through the tightness of a fixing nut 12, and the adjusting range is 0-40 cm. The lower base 6 uses two M6X 24U-shaped bolts 14 and four M6 anti-slip nuts 13 to realize the installation and fixation of the push rod 18 and the electric telescopic rod 5, and can also be adjusted according to the operation requirement.
