The invention provides a water tank, which is used for solving the technical problems that the water inlet of a water tank in the prior art generates great impact on the liquid level of a tank body, so that the liquid level is large in wave and the misoperation of a liquid level switch is caused.

(1) the water tank provided by the invention comprises a tank body and a tank cover, wherein the tank cover covers the tank opening of the tank body and is provided with a water inlet, the water inlet is used for feeding water into the tank body, the side wall of the tank body is provided with a water outlet and a water replenishing opening, the water outlet is used for guiding out water in the tank body, and the water replenishing opening is used for replenishing water to the tank body, a liquid level switch is arranged in the box body and controls the on-off of the water replenishing port according to the height of the liquid level in the box body, when the liquid level in the box body is reduced to a preset value, the liquid level switch opens the water replenishing port so as to replenish water for the water tank, the box body is also internally provided with a buffer device, the buffer device can buffer the impact of the water flow entering the water inlet on the liquid level of the box body, and by adopting the structure, the arrangement of the buffer device can reduce the wave generated by the water entering the water inlet, thereby reducing the influence of the waves generated during water inflow on the liquid level switch and reducing the possibility of misoperation of the liquid level switch as much as possible;

(2) the invention also provides an evaporation cooling unit, which adopts the water tank, so that the water replenishing of the water tank of the evaporation cooling unit is more accurate and reliable, and the operation of the evaporation cooling unit is more stable.
