Technical Field

The present invention relates to a high-strength aluminum alloy laminated molded body and a method for manufacturing the same. The present invention also relates to a high-strength aluminum alloy laminated molded body and a method for producing the same, which can reduce deformation and cracks generated inside and outside the laminated molded body when a complicated molded body is laminated.

Background

Conventionally, various studies have been made on room-temperature high-strength alloys, high-ductility alloys, and the like. As a method for producing a high-quality metal product from these alloys, a working method such as extrusion or forging is generally known. These machining methods work a cast material, and therefore, the interior of a final product is almost free from defects, and a high-strength metal product having excellent quality can be obtained (see, for example, patent document 1).

further, a method is known in which a metal powder formed by rapid solidification by an atomization method is subjected to a tube sealing and degassing treatment, and is molded by extrusion or the like. According to this method, an alloy having a composition that cannot be produced by conventional casting can be used, and therefore a high-strength product can be produced. This method has been studied in a large amount particularly for aluminum alloys (see, for example, patent document 2).

Also, a powder metallurgy method is known in which a metal powder is prepared and then sintered to obtain a shape close to the final product. This method can use an alloy having a composition that cannot be produced by a conventional casting method, and therefore, a high-performance and high-strength material can be expected (for example, see patent document 3).

Further, a powder metallurgy method is known in which different metal powders are prepared and rotated by a mechanical alloying method to prepare a raw material of a novel alloy. This method can use a metal having a composition that cannot be used in a conventional casting method, and therefore, a high-performance and high-strength product can be expected to be produced (see, for example, patent document 4).

As a method for casting an aluminum melt, a vacuum die casting method is known in which air is not introduced. Since the melt is injected at a speed exceeding 10m/s into a mold maintained in vacuum, the solidification interval speed is as fast as 100m/s, and a product having a fine structure and an intermetallic compound and having few defects can be obtained (for example, see patent document 5).

Further, as a method of casting an aluminum melt, an extrusion casting method is known in which a mold is filled with a solution at a low speed so as not to introduce air. This method is a low-speed filling with a gate speed of 0.5m/s or less, and therefore, since air is not introduced, and pressurization is performed at a high pressure of 100MPa, a metal product having a fine structure and almost no defects can be obtained (for example, see patent document 6).

Further, a metal lamination processing method is known in which metal powder is layered one by one, and the powder is irradiated with laser light, electron beam, or the like, to melt and solidify a specific portion and laminate the portion, and a final product is molded without using a mold, and an aluminum molded product molded by the processing method has a higher strength than a molded product obtained by a conventional processing method (for example, see non-patent document 1).

Disclosure of Invention

Technical problem to be solved by the invention

The final product obtained by the conventional method for producing a metal molded body disclosed in the above patent document has several problems.

According to the method for producing a metal molded product disclosed in patent document 1, there is a problem that it is difficult to stereoscopically produce a complicated and fine final product, and therefore the shape of the target product is limited to a smooth product.

According to the method for producing a metal molded body disclosed in patent document 2, since the rapidly solidified powder is used as the starting material, a product having an alloy composition completely different from that of the conventional casting method can be produced. However, there are the following problems: since moisture and crystal water on the surface of the powder need to be removed before extrusion molding, degassing at 200 ℃ or higher is necessary and the temperature is maintained at 400 ℃ or higher during extrusion, which causes the original properties of the metal powder to be lost and the properties of the powder to be maintained are not always maintained. In addition, there is a problem that mechanical properties in the extrusion direction and in the direction perpendicular to the extrusion direction are different.

According to the method for producing a metal molded body disclosed in patent document 3, a molded body having new characteristics can be obtained by sintering, but there is a problem that a rapid solidification structure is not obtained and a plurality of steps are required to produce a final product.

According to the conventional manufacturing method disclosed in patent document 4, a new alloy can be manufactured from different metal powders, but in the method of mechanical alloying for manufacturing, there is a problem that a time required for generating a new alloy is long and complicated.

According to the method for producing a metal molded body disclosed in patent document 5, since molding is performed in a vacuum and pressing is performed at a pressure of about 100MPa, a large-sized and high-quality thin cast product can be produced. However, there are the following problems: since the injection is performed at a high speed, Mn, which is a transition metal, must be added instead of adding a large amount of an iron component in order to prevent the adhesion of the metal to the aluminum melt, and since the cast product is obtained, casting cracks are caused depending on the alloy composition, so that the alloy composition is limited.

The method for producing a metal molded body disclosed in patent document 6 is a casting production method for molding an important safety component such as an aluminum hub, but since it is high-pressure casting, component segregation is likely to occur, and measures therefor are required.

The laminated molded article of an aluminum alloy disclosed in non-patent document 1 is a method for obtaining high strength because of having few casting defects and having a rapidly solidified structure, but the molding conditions for lamination are not clear, and measures for obtaining further high strength are required.

In non-patent document 2, since the molded article produced by the lamination method is deformed, it is reported that the laminated base plate is usually preheated to approximately 200 ℃ for the Al-10% Si — Mg alloy. In addition, it has been reported that the hardness can be reduced by increasing the preheating temperature, and in particular, the lamination time is long and the base plate is easily softened by the thermal influence. Therefore, it is considered effective to increase the molding temperature at the time of lamination to a temperature that is just before the overaging for softening the material in order to reduce the deformation without lowering the hardness. However, depending on the shape of the product, it may be difficult to reduce the deformation without lowering the hardness and the tensile strength.

Although there has been no report in patent documents and non-patent documents, the present inventors have found that various deformations and cracks are generated as a result of lamination molding of various aluminum alloys.

That is, the deformation during lamination causes (1) deformation of the laminated material, (2) intergranular cracks of the laminated material, (3) cracks of the support between the base and the laminated material, and (4) cracks at each position (lamination direction, lamination perpendicular direction) of the laminated material.

(1) The above-mentioned Al-10% Si-Mg alloy is likely to be deformed. If the lamination temperature is low, for example, 100 ℃ or lower, the product is easily deformed depending on the shape of the laminated product, and the product cannot be obtained. When the lamination temperature is high at around 200 ℃, the deformation of the product shape is small, but the softening is caused by overaging, and it is difficult to obtain a high tensile strength at a position close to the base plate where it is affected by heat for a long time.

Fig. 1 is a photograph showing a modification of a conventional laminated molded article.

(2) The intergranular cracks of (2) are generated in an alloy which is easily cracked even by a conventional casting method, for example, a low Si alloy such as 6061 and an alloy having a large solidification temperature range such as 7075. This alloy is obtained by extruding or rolling a billet obtained by a continuous casting method to obtain a high-strength alloy. The former has a high yield strength of about 275MPa, and in addition, the latter shows a yield strength of about 400MPa and a tensile strength of 500 MPa.

Although these alloys can reduce the deformation of the laminated product by setting the lamination temperature to about 200 ℃, intergranular cracks still occur in the laminated material, and the product cannot be formed. Therefore, the strength that can be obtained originally cannot be obtained.

In addition, in the case of AC7A and 7075 described above, which are alloys containing Mg as a main additive element, for example, Al-5% Mg-based alloys, casting cracks may occur in the corners of the product depending on the shape of the laminated product.

In addition, although the reduction of cracks is associated with the temperature at the time of lamination being 250 ℃ or higher, precipitates contributing to precipitation hardening, for example, compounds of Mg and Si and compounds of two or more elements among Cu, Mg, Zn, and Al, which are already included in the alloy, are coarsened at the time of lamination completion, and are not favorable for precipitation hardening. Therefore, when the strength is to be obtained, it is necessary to perform a solutionizing treatment, quenching, and tempering treatment, and when these treatments are performed, there is a high possibility that the product is deformed when a complicated product is manufactured. Therefore, it is necessary to obtain high strength in a laminated state and to prevent cracks.

Fig. 2 is a photograph showing intergranular cracks in a conventional laminated molded article.

(3) And (4) cracks, which are easily generated in the heat-resistant alloy. It is known that a large amount of a transition metal is added to improve the heat-resistant strength (see non-patent document 3). However, unlike the method of solidification molding of powder described in this document, the metal lamination method is a method of completely melting powder, and since rapid melting and rapid solidification are repeated in lamination molding, large cracks are likely to occur on the surface and inside of a laminated molded article at a temperature of 200 ℃ or lower, for example, by adding 7% or more of Fe to aluminum, or by adding 2% of Mn to aluminum and 3% of Fe to aluminum. Therefore, the tensile test piece could not be sampled and the strength could not be evaluated.

Fig. 3 is a photograph showing cracks in a conventional laminated molded article.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide an aluminum alloy laminated molded body having higher strength than a conventional laminated molded body.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing an aluminum alloy laminated molded body having higher strength than a conventional laminated molded body.

Further, an object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing an aluminum alloy laminated molded body, which does not cause cracks in the interior and exterior of the laminated molded body at the time of lamination, is small in deformation, and has higher strength than a conventional laminated molded body.

Specifically, the following aims are achieved to maximize the characteristics of an aluminum alloy laminated molded body having an alloy composition that has not been considered in the past because the aluminum alloy laminated molded body has a rapid solidification structure with little restriction on solidification characteristics during casting.

(1) Even if the molding is possible in a state where the overaging is hard to occur and the temperature at the time of lamination is not high, the molding is likely to occur, but if the lamination time is long and the thermal influence is likely to be exerted, or if the deformation is extremely suppressed, higher dimensional accuracy is required, and high-temperature lamination is necessary, the molding is likely to occur and the molding is likely to be softened.

The present invention provides a method for producing a metal laminate molding having high hardness and tensile strength at room temperature or high temperature in response to the intended use of the laminate molding by using an alloy component which does not soften the laminate molding even in such a state or an alloy composition which solidifies an aluminum matrix by using a large amount of a fine intermetallic compound.

(2) Provided is a method for producing a metal laminated molded body, which limits the alloy composition and the molding temperature during lamination to a predetermined temperature range in response to the use purpose of the laminated molded body, and suppresses cracking and deformation of a laminated material.

Detailed Description

Hereinafter, various embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail. The aluminum alloy laminated molded body of the present invention is a molded body molded by a lamination method in which alloy materials are laminated. The lamination process is a method of stacking raw metal materials to form a final product without using a die, and examples thereof include a powder bed fusion (powder bed fusion) method, a deposition method (directional energy deposition), and the like. The aluminum alloy laminated molded body of the present invention includes any of a laminated molded body obtained by a powder bed fusion method and a laminated molded body obtained by a deposition method.

The powder bed welding method is a method in which raw metal powder is layered in layers, and the powder is irradiated with laser light, electron beam, or the like to melt and solidify only a specific portion, thereby performing lamination.

The deposition method is a method of stacking raw material metal powder while directly spraying the metal powder to a desired position to be stacked and melting the metal powder. As a deposition method, there is also a method (wire feeding method) in which an alloy wire made of a raw material metal is used in place of the powder, and the alloy wire is deposited while being irradiated with a laser beam, an electron beam, or the like to melt the alloy wire.

An aluminum alloy laminated molded body according to embodiment 1 of the present invention is an aluminum alloy laminated molded body obtained by molding a raw material metal composed of an aluminum alloy by a lamination process, the aluminum alloy containing 0.3 wt% or less of Fe as an inevitable impurity and 1 or more of Mn and Cr in a total amount of 0.3 to 10 wt%, the aluminum alloy laminated molded body being composed of 1 or more of an intermetallic compound containing 2 or more of Al, Mn, Fe, and Cr and an aluminum alloy solid solution in which 1 or more of Mn, Fe, and Cr are solid-dissolved.

Mn and Cr are effective elements for improving the tensile strength (room temperature strength) in a low temperature atmosphere and the tensile strength (high temperature strength) in a high temperature atmosphere. When the total content of Mn and Cr exceeds 10 wt%, the ductility is greatly reduced, and therefore 10 wt% or less is selected. Among these, in particular, when the ductility is improved, the total content of Mn and Cr is preferably 5 wt% or less, and more preferably 2.5 wt% or less.

Since the Fe content is less than 0.3 wt% or less, the amount of intermetallic compounds formed by Mn and Cr in the total amount of 0.3 to 10 wt% with Fe having a high content in the lamination step can be suppressed, and a part of Mn and Cr is once supersaturated and solid-dissolved at the time of metal lamination, and then most of Mn and Cr forms a compound with aluminum by the action of heat at the time of lamination to contribute to precipitation hardening, and another part of Mn and Cr forms fine crystals with aluminum by instantaneous melting and solidification at the time of lamination to contribute to dispersion hardening, for example.

The precipitates formed of 1 or more kinds of Mn and Cr and Al compounds have the effect that when the Mn content is 0.3 to 1.5 wt%, if the measured temperature of the lower plate during lamination (hereinafter referred to as the lamination molding temperature) is in the range of 150 to 250 ℃, deformation due to lamination molding is suppressed, and high room temperature strength is exhibited. In order to further suppress deformation and to exhibit high room temperature strength, 180 ℃ to 250 ℃ is more preferable.

Specifically, in embodiment 1, the laminated molded body obtained by laminating at a molding temperature of 150 to 250 ℃ is selected as the molding temperature at the time of lamination, and the tensile strength at room temperature evaluated without heat treatment (T6 treatment) after the lamination step is preferably over 320MPa, more preferably over 330MP, and still more preferably over 350 MPa.

On the other hand, when the total content of Mn and Cr exceeds 1.5 wt%, particularly exceeds 3 wt%, the material immediately after lamination does not undergo significant softening due to overaging even when the molding temperature is in the range of 150 to 400 ℃ at the time of lamination, and therefore, high hardness is exhibited. That is, the strength at room temperature is not limited to the strength at high temperature of 300 ℃ and the effect of Mn and Cr can be maintained. This effect can be demonstrated by maintaining the precipitation hardening by Mn and Cr at 400 ℃. In order to suppress deformation and cracking, the molding temperature during lamination is more preferably 180 to 400 ℃, and still more preferably 200 to 400 ℃.

In the above embodiment, the aluminum alloy may further contain any one or more of the following elements: 1 to 20 wt% of Si, 0.2 to 7.0 wt% of Mg, 0.5 to 5 wt% of Cu, and 0.5 to 3 wt% of Ni.

In embodiment 1, the aluminum alloy may contain 4 to 15 wt% of Si, 0.2 to 1.0 wt% of Mg, and 0.3 to 2.5 wt% of Mn and Cr, based on the total weight.

In embodiment 1, the aluminum alloy may contain 8 to 20 wt% of Si, 0.5 to 2.0 wt% of Mg, 0.5 to 5 wt% of Cu, and 0.5 to 3 wt% of Ni, and the total weight of Mn and Cr is 1.5 to 5.0 wt%.

In embodiment 1, the aluminum alloy may contain 1 to 3 wt% of Si, 4.0 to 6.0 wt% of Mg, and the total weight of Mn and Cr may be 0.5 to 2.5 wt%.

An aluminum alloy laminated molding according to embodiment 2 of the present invention is an aluminum alloy laminated molding formed by molding a raw material metal composed of an aluminum alloy by a lamination processing method, the aluminum alloy containing more than 0.3 wt% and 2 wt% or less of Fe and 1 or more of Mn and Cr in a total amount of 1.5 to 10 wt%, the aluminum alloy laminated molding being composed of 1 or more of an intermetallic compound containing 2 or more of Al, Mn, Fe, and Cr and an aluminum alloy solid solution in which 1 or more of Mn, Fe, and Cr are solid-dissolved.

An aluminum alloy laminated molded body according to embodiment 3 of the present invention is formed by molding a raw material metal composed of an aluminum alloy by a lamination processing method, the aluminum alloy containing more than 1 wt% and 10 wt% or less of Fe and 1 or more of Mn and Cr of which total weight is 1.5 wt% or less, and the aluminum alloy laminated molded body being composed of any 1 or more of an intermetallic compound containing 2 or more of Al, Mn, Fe, and Cr and an aluminum alloy solid solution in which 1 or more of Mn, Fe, and Cr are solid-dissolved.

In these embodiments, since a large amount of Fe and Al compounds, Cr and Al compounds, Fe and Mn compounds, Fe and Cr compounds, and the like can be formed by laminating raw material metals of an aluminum alloy composition having a combination of a predetermined Fe content, Mn content, and Cr content, the Fe content exceeds 0.3 wt%, and high-temperature strength can be obtained at a high temperature in the vicinity of 300 ℃.

Specifically, in embodiments 2 and 3, the laminated molded article obtained by laminating at a molding temperature of 150 to 300 ℃ is selected as the molding temperature at the time of lamination, and the tensile strength at a high temperature (300 ℃) evaluated without heat treatment (T6 treatment) after the lamination step is preferably more than 100MPa, more preferably more than 120MP, and still more preferably more than 140 MPa.

Specifically, in embodiments 2 and 3, the tensile strength at high temperature (300 ℃) evaluated after heat treatment (T6 treatment) of a laminated molded article obtained by laminating at a molding temperature of 150 to 300 ℃ is preferably more than 80MPa, more preferably more than 85MP, and still more preferably more than 90 MPa.

However, if the contents of Fe, Cr and Mn are too large, cracks are likely to occur in the laminated molded article. In addition, the compound becomes coarse. Therefore, in both cases of obtaining a normal-temperature high-strength laminated molded body and obtaining a high-temperature high-strength laminated molded body, as described below, it is preferable to select the molding temperature at the time of lamination in order to reduce deformation and cracks while limiting the contents of Fe, Mn, and Cr as described above.

In embodiments 2 and 3 of the present invention, the aluminum alloy may further contain one or more of the following elements: 4 to 30 wt% of Si, 0.5 to 5.0 wt% of Mg, 0.5 to 5 wt% of Cu, and 0.5 to 3 wt% of Ni.

In embodiment 2 of the present invention, the aluminum alloy may contain 8 to 20 wt% of Si, 0.5 to 2.0 wt% of Mg, and the total weight of Fe, Mn, and Cr is 1.8 to 5.0 wt%.

In embodiment 3 of the present invention, the aluminum alloy may contain 8 to 20 wt% of Si, 0.5 to 2.0 wt% of Mg, and the total weight of Fe, Mn, and Cr is 1.0 to 5.0 wt%.

In embodiments 1, 2 and 3 of the present invention, the aluminum alloy may further contain one or more of the following elements: 0.2 to 3% by weight of Ti, 0.2 to 5% by weight of Zr, 0.2 to 5% by weight of Sc, 0.2 to 10% by weight of Li and 0.2 to 5% by weight of V.

Titanium (Ti), zirconium (Zr), vanadium (V), scandium (Sc), and lithium (Li) have a feature of being capable of forming an unbalanced microstructure with aluminum having a regular structure of L12. By adding these elements, the room-temperature tensile strength and the high-temperature tensile strength can be increased as compared with the case where no element is added. If the amount of these elements is more than the above range, it is not preferable because it is difficult to produce the steel sheet and the ductility is lowered.

Various embodiments of the selection of the molding temperature at the time of lamination and the method for producing a laminated molded article will be described below.

[ case of obtaining a high-strength laminated molded article at ordinary temperature ]

For example, in the case of a laminated molded body having a complicated shape, if the molding temperature during lamination is less than 150 ℃, an Al — Si — Mg alloy and an Al — Si — Mg — Cu alloy are difficult to soften even if they are affected by heat for a long time, and the laminated molded body is likely to deform while showing a high tensile strength (as build) in a state after lamination and before heat treatment (T6 treatment).

On the other hand, if the molding temperature at the time of lamination exceeds 150 ℃, particularly 180 ℃, the deformation of the laminated molded article is small, but the laminated molded article is easily softened due to overaging. Further, if the molding temperature during lamination exceeds 200 ℃, it is considered that the amount of Si supersaturated and solid-dissolved in Al decreases, and the Mg — Si precipitates coarsen, leading to further softening. Therefore, a method for producing a room-temperature high-strength laminated molded article which does not soften even at a high-temperature lamination molding temperature exceeding 180 ℃ is required. Of course, since the molded article has high strength in a state of being laminated, it is not necessary to perform a solutionizing treatment of 500 ℃ or higher and a subsequent heat treatment such as quenching and tempering. The tensile strength of the laminated molded article after the heat treatment was lower than that of the laminated molded article before the heat treatment (T6 treatment) (as build).

< 0.3 wt.% or less of Fe, 0.3 to 10 wt.% of the total content of Mn and Cr, and 1 or more of Al, Mn, Fe and Cr, and any one of aluminum alloy solid solutions in which 1 or more elements of Mn, Fe and Cr are dissolved in solid solution >

In the case where the aluminum alloy contains 1 or more of Mn and Cr, high tensile strength can be exhibited even at the molding temperature at the time of lamination exceeding 180 ℃. This is because the laminated molded body which is once melted and solidified at the time of lamination precipitates a compound of Mn, Cr and Al at the molding temperature at the time of lamination, and does not soften because it hardly undergoes overaging even at the molding temperature at the time of lamination of 180 to 250 ℃.

Therefore, as described above, if the molding temperature at the time of lamination is 150 to 250 ℃, deformation of the laminated molded body becomes small and high room temperature strength can be shown.

[ case of obtaining a high-temperature high-strength laminated molded article ]

Fe. Both Cr and Mn contribute to the improvement of tensile strength at high temperatures exceeding 200 ℃. The following molding temperature for lamination can be selected depending on the contents of Fe, Cr and Mn. Further, although the laminated molded article can be subjected to a solution treatment at 500 ℃ or higher and then subjected to a heat treatment such as quenching and tempering, it is preferably used without being subjected to a heat treatment from the viewpoint of obtaining particularly excellent tensile properties, as in the case of a room-temperature high-strength laminated molded article.

(1) As a measure against the deformation and cracks of the laminated molded article, a molding temperature at the time of lamination of 150 to 250 ℃ can be selected.

< case where 1 or more kinds of aluminum alloy solid solutions containing 2 or more kinds of intermetallic compounds of Al, Mn, Fe and Cr and 1 or more kinds of elements of Mn, Fe and Cr dissolved in solid are formed by containing more than 1 wt% and 10 wt% or less of Fe and 1 or more kinds of Mn and Cr in total of 1.5 wt% or less >

By increasing the content of Fe, the high temperature strength can be improved. However, when the Fe content exceeds 10 wt%, a large thermal stress is generated in the laminated molded body, and cracks are likely to be generated in the laminated molded body (including the strut member). When the content of Fe exceeds 10 wt%, the compounds with Al coarsen, and particularly the compounds with Al and Fe become coarse needle-like, resulting in a decrease in ductility. On the other hand, in the case where the content of Fe is less than 1 wt%, the improvement of the high-temperature strength is small. Therefore, the Fe content is selected to be more than 1 wt% and 10 wt% or less. However, in order to further improve the high-temperature strength, it is preferably 2% by weight or more. In addition, in the case of having high-temperature strength and particularly improving ductility, the content of Fe is preferably 2 to 7% by weight, more preferably 2 to 5% by weight. By selecting 2 to 5 wt%, it is possible to suitably suppress cracking of the laminated molded article.

In order to improve ductility while maintaining high-temperature strength, it is effective to limit the Fe content to a range of 1 to 7 wt% and to set the Mn content to 0.1 wt% or more, because the form of the Fe compound can be changed from needle-like to massive. However, if the Mn content exceeds 1.5 wt%, the generation of cracks tends to be promoted rather than the case where only Fe is contained. Therefore, the content of Mn is preferably 0.1 to 1.5 wt%, more preferably 0.1 to 0.5 wt%.

[ case where 1 or more of an aluminum alloy solid solution containing more than 0.3 wt% and 2 wt% or less of Fe and 1 or more of Mn and Cr in a total amount of 1.5 to 10 wt% is formed, and 2 or more of intermetallic compounds of Al, Mn, Fe and Cr and 1 or more of Mn, Fe and Cr are dissolved in the solid solution >

By adding Fe, a compound of Mn and Fe can be formed, and the high-temperature strength of the laminated molded body can be improved. However, when the Fe content is 0.3 wt% or less, the formation of intermetallic compounds of Fe and Mn is small, and sufficient high-temperature strength cannot be obtained. On the other hand, if the content of Fe exceeds 2 wt%, although the high-temperature strength can be improved, cracks are likely to occur. Therefore, the Fe content is selected to be more than 0.3 wt% and 2 wt% or less.

On the other hand, in order to improve the high-temperature strength of the laminated molded article, the total content of Mn and Cr is selected to be 1.5 wt% or more. However, if the amount exceeds 10% by weight, the ductility tends to be low, and therefore, 1.5 to 10% by weight is preferable. In order to obtain a laminated molded body having high-temperature strength and particularly high ductility, the total content of Mn and Cr is preferably 1.5 to 5 wt%.

< 0.3 wt.% or less of Fe, 0.3 to 10 wt.% of the total content of Mn and Cr, and 1 or more of any of an intermetallic compound containing 2 or more of Al, Mn, Fe and Cr and an aluminum alloy solid solution containing 1 or more of Mn, Fe and Cr in a solid solution >

When the Fe content is 0.3 wt% or less, a compound of Mn and Al and a compound of Cr and Al can be formed, and the high-temperature strength of the laminated molded body can be improved. This is considered to be because the precipitates of Mn and Al and the precipitates of Cr and Al do not change in morphology until they reach 400 ℃.

However, when the total content of Mn and Cr is less than 1.5 wt%, sufficient high-temperature strength cannot be obtained. On the other hand, if the total content of Mn and Cr exceeds 10 wt%, ductility is lowered, and therefore, 1.5 to 10 wt% is preferable. In order to obtain a laminated molded body having high-temperature strength and particularly high ductility, the total content of Mn and Cr is more preferably 1.5 to 5 wt%.

(2) As a measure against deformation and cracking of the laminated molded article, a molding temperature at the time of lamination exceeding 250 ℃ and not more than 450 ℃ may be selected.

Another method is to select a molding temperature at the time of lamination exceeding 250 ℃ and below 450 ℃ in order to achieve high ductility and suppress cracking and obtain good tensile strength. As such a manufacturing method, an electron beam lamination method satisfies the conditions.

When the molding temperature during lamination is set to a range of more than 250 ℃ and 450 ℃ or less, cracks during lamination which occur when the molding temperature during lamination is 150 to 250 ℃ can be reduced. This is presumably because the difference between the temperature immediately after melting and the temperature before melting is small, and therefore the thermal stress is small. However, if the temperature exceeds 450 ℃ which is the upper limit of the range of the molding temperature at the time of lamination, the sizes of eutectic Si and intermetallic compounds become excessively large, resulting in a decrease in tensile strength. In addition, when the molding temperature is 250 ℃ or lower at the time of lamination, it is necessary to extend the lamination time at the time of molding in order to reduce heat accumulation at the time of lamination, and this is not suitable in terms of production efficiency.

However, in any of the cases where Mn is contained alone, Fe is contained alone, Mn is contained in combination, or Cr and Fe are contained in combination, although the tensile strength is improved, the amount of heat given is large, and therefore the size of the intermetallic compound becomes large. The intermetallic compound is in the form of, for example, a coarse needle or a coarse rod having a size of more than 100 μm when Fe is contained alone, or a coarse fish cake when Fe and Mn are added in combination, and therefore the total content of Fe, Cr and Mn needs to be 2 to 10% by weight.

In the present invention, the size of the intermetallic compound is preferably less than 200 μm in terms of the longest diameter in the observation plane.

However, in the case of particularly improving ductility, the total weight of Fe, Cr and Mn is preferably 2 to 7% by weight, more preferably 2 to 5% by weight. In order to improve ductility while ensuring high strength of the laminated molded body, the Fe content is limited to 2 to 5 wt%, and the Mn content is limited to 0.1 to 1.0 wt%, and more preferably 0.1 to 0.5 wt%. By making the Mn content small in this manner, the morphology of the generated iron compound can be effectively changed from a needle shape to a fine block shape.

As described above, in the embodiment using the predetermined molding temperature at the time of lamination, the aluminum alloy to be used may further contain any 1 or more of the following elements: 4 to 30 wt% of Si, 0.5 to 5.0 wt% of Mg, 0.5 to 5 wt% of Cu, and 0.5 to 3 wt% of Ni.

Si among these elements contributes to an increase in tensile strength of the laminated molded body. In addition, Si shows the following 2 effects: dispersion hardening by eutectic Si, and solution hardening as a result of Si being solid-dissolved in the aluminum matrix.

When Si is added to obtain such effects and the molding temperature is 250 ℃ or lower at the time of lamination, the ductility is greatly reduced when Si exceeds 20 wt%, and therefore the upper limit of the strength is preferably 20 wt% in order to increase the room temperature strength. In addition, if the amount is less than 4 wt%, intergranular cracks are likely to occur, and therefore the lower limit is preferably 4 wt%. Therefore, the content of Si is preferably 4 to 20% by weight in order to improve the room temperature strength.

On the other hand, in order to improve the high-temperature strength, it is effective to add Si. Si also has an effect of improving wear resistance. However, if the content is too large, the laminated molded article becomes brittle, and therefore, it is preferably 4 to 30% by weight.

When a high-temperature high-strength laminated molded article is obtained, the range of the Si content is the same whether the molding temperature during lamination is 150 to 250 ℃ or more than 250 ℃ and not more than 450 ℃.

In order to improve the room-temperature elongation property, the cutting property, and the high-temperature elongation property, Cu is added as necessary. In a conventional casting alloy, a compound presumed to be a θ phase (Cu — Al) and a Q compound (Al — Cu — Mg — Si) is formed in the eutectic portion. However, in the case of the metal layer stacking method, since Cu has a solidification rate of about 103 ℃/s, almost all Cu is dissolved in the aluminum matrix. Therefore, in addition to the effect of solid solution strengthening, Cu in a predetermined ratio contributes to room temperature strength as precipitates by heat at the time of lamination.

When high-temperature strength is required, T6 treatment (solution treatment, quenching, tempering) may be performed, and dimensional stabilization treatment may be performed at a temperature of, for example, about 300 ℃. This softens more than the laminated molded article immediately after lamination, but the effect of improving the high-temperature strength is still exhibited. Therefore, in order to obtain this effect, the amount of Cu added is 0.5 wt% or more, and the upper limit of the amount of Cu added is preferably 5 wt% or less in order to ensure ductility and corrosion resistance.

In the conventional casting alloy, Mg in an amount of less than about 0.5 wt% forms a Mg — Si compound with Si, and thereby precipitation hardening is performed to contribute to improvement of the room temperature strength. In addition, 1 to 5 wt% of Mg is known to improve the high temperature strength at 300 ℃.

However, in the case of the metal layer stacking method, since the solidification rate is about 103 ℃/s, a large amount of Mg is dissolved in the aluminum matrix, and a part of Mg is precipitated depending on the temperature at the time of stacking. The T6 treatment (solution treatment, quenching, tempering) also softens at a temperature of about 300 ℃, but it still has the effect of improving the high-temperature strength. Therefore, the amount of Mg added is preferably 0.5 wt% or more for the purpose of exhibiting this effect, and 5 wt% or less for the purpose of securing ductility.

As for Ni, Ni is added to a conventional casting alloy to improve high-temperature strength. On the contrary, in the case of the metal layer stacking method, since the solidification rate is about 103 ℃/s, the Ni — Al compound formed with Al is very fine. Therefore, the amount of Ni added is preferably 0.3 to 3 wt%.

The composition of the raw aluminum alloy of the laminated molded article of the present embodiment was described above, and a laminated molded article can be obtained by molding a powder of such a raw aluminum alloy by a metal lamination processing method. A lamination processing method that can be used in the present invention will be described below.

Generally, the metal lamination processing method is performed by the following steps.

(1) A layer of metal powder with a certain thickness is laid.

(2) The position to be solidified is locally irradiated with an electron beam or a laser, thereby heating the powder layer so that the powder is instantaneously melted and instantaneously solidified. In this case, the electron beam or laser is scanned based on the 3D data/slice data.

(3) Lowering the manufacturing table and then laying a layer of metal powder.

(4) the above steps are repeated to laminate the metal powders, thereby obtaining a laminated molded article having a final shape. Thereafter, the uncured powder was removed, and the laminate molded body was taken out.

As metal lamination processing methods that can be used for manufacturing the laminated molded body of the present embodiment, there are an electron beam lamination processing method using an electron beam lamination device and a laser layer lamination method using a laser lamination device.

In addition, as the lamination processing method of the present embodiment, a deposition method may be adopted. As the deposition method, there are a method of spraying metal powder at a desired position and depositing the metal powder while melting the metal powder at the position, and a method of depositing the metal powder while melting an alloy wire.

As described above, the laminated molded article designed by the lamination method can be subjected to the following treatments and processing, in addition to being used as a final product as it is after molding.

(1) After lamination, an aging treatment is performed. When the aging treatment is performed, the elements dissolved in the molten state are precipitated as compounds due to rapid solidification, and the strength of the laminated molded article can be improved. In this case, the composite addition of the alloy species can promote, for example, uniform dispersion of precipitates. One example thereof is the composite addition of Zr and Cr.

(2) After lamination, processing is performed. The processing is performed in association with the miniaturization of crystal grains, and the strength of the laminated molded body can be improved.

(3) After lamination, aging treatment and processing are carried out. Alternatively, after lamination, processing and aging treatment are performed. By performing any of these treatments, a synergistic effect due to the refinement of crystal grains and the formation of fine precipitates can be obtained.
