Technical Field

the technology disclosed by this specification relates to a connector.

Background

conventionally, a case-side connector described in japanese patent application laid-open No. 2016-18774 (patent document 1) is known as a connector provided with an interlock circuit. The housing-side connector is fittable to the mating-side connector, and by fitting the housing-side connector to the mating-side connector, the interlock circuit is brought into a connected state and switched to an electrically conductive state. The counterpart connector is mounted inside a mounting recess provided in the terminal block. The case-side connector has a pair of anti-release pieces, and the terminal block has a pair of engaged portions capable of engaging the pair of anti-release pieces. Each of the retaining pieces is elastically deformable in a flexible manner, and constitutes a traveling mechanism of the case-side connector. When the mating connector is fitted to the housing-side connector in an eccentric state, the deviation can be absorbed by the deflection deformation of the retaining pieces.

Disclosure of Invention

Problems to be solved by the invention

However, in order to form the free-movement mechanism in the case-side connector described above, it is necessary to provide the case-side connector with a member different from the terminal block, and this is not necessarily preferable from the viewpoint of reduction in the number of components, reduction in the number of assembly steps, and reduction in assembly equipment.

Means for solving the problems

The connector disclosed by the present specification includes: a cover having a cover housing and a cover connector integrally provided with the cover housing; and a device-side connector including a hood portion into which the cover housing is fittable, a mating-side connector disposed in the hood portion and adapted to be fittable with the cover connector to close an interlock circuit, wherein the cover housing includes a leading guide portion adapted to guide the cover connector into a normal posture in which the cover connector is fittable with the mating-side connector by sliding along an opening edge portion of the hood portion before the cover connector is fittable with the mating-side connector.

When the cover is assembled to the device-side connector, the leading guide portion slides on the opening edge portion of the cover portion, thereby guiding the cover connector to a normal posture. Thereby, the cover connector is fitted to the mating connector in a state of being positioned in a normal posture. Therefore, the conventional traveling mechanism including other members can be eliminated, and the number of members can be reduced. Further, since the assembly work of other parts is not required, the number of assembly steps can be reduced as compared with the free-wheeling mechanism, and the assembly equipment can be reduced.

The connector disclosed in the present specification may have the following configuration.

The cover case may include: a cover main body that closes an opening of the hood; and a peripheral wall that protrudes from the cover main body along an inner peripheral surface of the cover portion in a state where the opening is closed, wherein the leading guide portion is provided to protrude from a protruding end of the peripheral wall to a side opposite to the cover main body.

According to this configuration, the leading guide portion can be provided by extending a part of the peripheral wall as it is.

The cover case may be formed to be laterally long, and a pair of the leading guide portions may be provided at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the projecting end of the peripheral wall.

According to this configuration, the cover connector can be guided in the normal posture by the pair of leading guide portions, and therefore, the cover connector can be guided more accurately than when the cover connector is guided by one leading guide portion. Further, since the pair of leading guide portions are provided at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the peripheral wall, the cover connector can be guided in a more stable posture than a case where the pair of leading guide portions are provided at both ends in the short axis direction.

One of the pair of the leading guide portions may be provided integrally with the cover connector.

According to this configuration, since the one leading guide portion is provided integrally with the cover connector, the positioning accuracy of the cover connector can be improved.

Effects of the invention

According to the connector disclosed in the present specification, the number of components can be reduced by eliminating the traveling mechanism, and the number of assembly steps and assembly equipment can be reduced.

Detailed Description

< embodiment >

The embodiment is described with reference to the drawings of fig. 1 to 6. As shown in fig. 1, the connector 10 of the present embodiment includes a service cover 20 and an equipment-side connector 50. The device-side connector 50 is a connector for a mounting machine attached to the housing C of the device. A mounting hole H is opened in the housing C of the device, and the device-side connector 50 is mounted to the housing C of the device in a state of being fitted in the mounting hole H.

A mating connector 60 is provided inside the housing C of the apparatus. The mating connector 60 forms an interlock circuit together with a cover connector 40 described later, and when the connectors 40 and 60 are fitted to each other, the interlock circuit is closed and the main circuit is in an electrically conductive state. When both connectors 40 and 60 are disengaged, the interlock circuit is opened, and the main circuit is switched to the non-energized state.

The device-side connector 50 includes a device-side housing 51 made of synthetic resin, and a cover 52 opened upward is provided on the device-side housing 51. A flange portion 53 is provided around the outer peripheral surface of the cover portion 52. The flange portion 53 is disposed outside the casing C of the device. A rubber ring housing 54 is provided around the outer peripheral surface of the cover 52 below the flange portion 53. A rubber ring 55 is fitted into the rubber ring housing 54. When the machine-side housing 51 is fitted into the mounting hole H of the housing C of the machine, the rubber ring 55 is sandwiched between the rubber ring housing 54 and the inner peripheral surface of the mounting hole H, and the interior of the housing C of the machine is sealed.

The maintenance cover 20 is formed in a laterally elongated shape in front view, and includes a synthetic resin cover case 21 and a metal seal case 30. As shown in fig. 5, the cover case 21 is formed in a laterally long shape.

As shown in fig. 3, the cover case 21 has: a cover main body 22 that closes the opening of the hood 52; and a peripheral wall 23 that protrudes downward from the cover main body 22 along the inner peripheral surface of the cover 52 in a state where the opening is closed. A cover seal housing 24 is provided around the outer peripheral surface of the peripheral wall 23. A ring-shaped cap seal 25 is fitted into the cap seal housing 24. When the cap housing 21 is fitted into the cover 52, the cap seal 25 is sandwiched between the cap seal housing 24 and the cover 52, and the cover 52 is sealed.

As shown in fig. 4 to 6, a boss 26 to which a bolt 31 with a washer is fastened is provided at a central portion of the cover main body 22. The projection 26 is opened upward. The washer-equipped bolt 31 is a self-tapping screw, and as shown in fig. 3, when the washer-equipped bolt 31 is screwed into the boss 26 from above, the washer 32 of the washer-equipped bolt 31 abuts against the upper end of the boss 26, and the screwing is stopped, and the washer-equipped bolt 31 is fixed to the boss 26.

in a state where the gasket 32 abuts on the upper end of the boss 26, a predetermined clearance, which is about 2 to 3 times the plate thickness of the seal case 30, can be secured between the gasket 32 and the upper surface of the lid main body 22. On the other hand, the seal case 30 is provided with an insertion hole 33 through which the boss 26 is inserted, and the hole diameter of the insertion hole 33 is smaller than the diameter of the gasket 32 and larger than the diameter of the boss 26. Thereby, the seal case 30 is attached to the lid housing 21 so as to be able to move relative to the lid housing 21.

A cover connector 40 is provided on the lower surface of the cover housing 21. The cover connector 40 has: a cylindrical portion 41 which is open downward; and a male terminal 42 projecting downward from a back wall (upper wall) of the cylindrical portion 41. The lower end of the male terminal 42 is located above the lower end of the cylindrical portion 41. As shown in fig. 3, a part of the cylindrical portion 41 is integrally connected to the peripheral wall 23.

As shown in fig. 6, a leading guide 27 is provided at a lower end (projecting end) 23L of the peripheral wall 23 so as to project downward (toward the side opposite to the cover main body 22). As shown in fig. 4, a pair of leading guide portions 27 are provided at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the lower end 23L of the peripheral wall 23. One of the pair of leading guide portions 27 (the leading guide portion 27 on the right side in the drawing in fig. 4) is provided integrally with the cover connector 40.

As shown in fig. 6, a guide rib 28 having an inverted T shape is provided on an outer surface of the one leading guide portion 27. The guide rib 28 includes a vertical rib 28A extending in the vertical direction and a horizontal rib 28B extending in the horizontal direction. The lateral rib 28B is disposed at the lower end of the leading guide 27, and is connected to the lower end of the vertical rib 28A. A tapered portion 29 for introduction is provided at the lower end of the lateral rib 28B. The guide rib 28 and the tapered portion 29 similar to the first leading guide portion 27 are also provided on the outer surface of the second leading guide portion 27.

The present embodiment is configured as described above, and its operation will be described next. When the service cover 20 is assembled to the equipment-side connector 50 from the state shown in fig. 1, the tapered portions 29 of the leading guide portions 27 are guided into the cover portion 52 while sliding on the opening edge portion 56 of the cover portion 52. Then, as shown in fig. 2, the guide rib 28 of the leading guide portion 27 is arranged along the inner peripheral surface of the cover portion 52, and the lid connector 40 is guided to the normal posture. Then, the guide ribs 28 slide on the inner circumferential surface of the cover portion 52, so that the cover connector 40 is fitted to the mating connector 60 while maintaining the normal position.

As shown in fig. 3, when the cover main body 22 of the cover housing 21 abuts on the opening edge portion 56 of the hood 52, the fitting of the cover housing 21 and the hood 52 is completed, and the fitting of the cover connector 40 and the mating connector 60 is completed. When the mating of the cover connector 40 and the mating connector 60 is completed, the interlock circuit is closed, and the main circuit is in an electrically conductive state. In this way, in the present embodiment, before the start of fitting between the cover connector 40 and the mating connector 60, the cover connector 40 is positioned in the normal posture by the advance guide 27, and therefore, even if the free movement mechanism is removed, the cover connector 40 and the mating connector 60 can be reliably fitted.

as described above, the connector 10 disclosed in the present embodiment includes: a cover (service cover 20) having a cover housing 21 and a cover connector 40, the cover connector 40 being provided integrally with the cover housing 21; and a device-side connector 50 having a hood 52 into which the cover housing 21 can be fitted, a mating-side connector 60 being disposed inside the hood 52, the mating-side connector 60 closing an interlock circuit by fitting the cover connector 40, the connector 10 being configured such that: the cover housing 21 includes a leading guide portion 27, and the leading guide portion 27 guides the cover connector 40 to a normal posture in which the cover connector 40 can be fitted to the mating connector 60 by sliding on the opening edge portion 56 of the hood portion 52 before the cover connector 40 and the mating connector 60 are fitted to each other.

when the cover is assembled to the device-side connector 50, the leading guide 27 slides on the opening edge 56 of the cover 52, thereby guiding the cover connector 40 to the normal posture. Thereby, the cover connector 40 is fitted to the mating connector 60 in a state of being positioned in the normal posture. Therefore, the conventional traveling mechanism including other members can be eliminated, and the number of members can be reduced. Further, since the assembly work of other parts is not required, the number of assembly steps can be reduced as compared with the free-wheeling mechanism, and the assembly equipment can be reduced.

the cover case 21 may include: a cover main body 22 that closes the opening of the hood 52; and a peripheral wall 23 that protrudes from the cover main body 22 along the inner peripheral surface of the cover portion 52 in a state where the opening is closed, and the advance guide portion 27 is provided so as to protrude from a protruding end (lower end 23L) of the peripheral wall 23 to a side opposite to the cover main body 22.

With this configuration, the leading guide 27 can be provided by extending a part of the peripheral wall 23 as it is.

The cover case 21 may be formed to be laterally long, and the leading guide portions 27 may be provided in a pair at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the protruding end of the peripheral wall 23.

According to this configuration, since the cover connector 40 can be guided in the normal posture by the pair of the leading guide portions 27, it is possible to guide more accurately than the case where the cover connector is guided by one leading guide portion 27. Further, since the pair of leading guide portions 27 are provided at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the peripheral wall 23, the cover connector 40 can be guided in a more stable posture than in the case where the pair of leading guide portions are provided at both ends in the short axis direction.

One of the pair of leading guide portions 27 may be provided integrally with the cover connector 40.

According to this configuration, since the first leading guide 27 is provided integrally with the cover connector 40, the positioning accuracy of the cover connector 40 can be improved.
