On the other hand, the embodiment of the present application further provides a lighting control system for smart city blocks, referring to fig. 6, the control system includes a brightness detector 5 for detecting the intensity of ambient light, and a controller 6 for controlling the on/off of the lighting part 12 according to a detection signal of the brightness detector 5, the model of the brightness detector 5 may be SN-485-GZ, the controller 6 is a PLC controller, and the brightness detector 5, the controller 6, the lighting part 12 and the power supply are electrically connected. When the brightness detector 5 detects that the brightness of the environment is lower than a preset brightness value, the controller 6 controls the illumination part 12 to be turned on, and when the brightness detector 5 detects that the brightness of the environment is higher than the preset brightness value, the controller 6 controls the illumination part 12 to be turned off, so that the illumination part 12 can be automatically turned on and off according to the brightness of the external environment.
