1. A catheter for human embryo transfer, characterized by an integrated element with a transverse fold in the shape of an "accordion" at a certain distance from its tip. When compact, the transverse folding element is 1cm long, while its center is 5.5cm from the catheter tip, but can vary +/-1cm in variants of the same design. The transverse folding elements have the ability to bend, expand, compress, and are generally configured in a desired shape and angle by the operating clinician to facilitate passage thereof through the cervical canal. The shape and angle can be reconfigured by the operating clinician if deemed necessary. The transverse folding elements are also capable of automatically adjusting shape and angle to follow the anatomy of the cervical canal as it passes through the cervix. The proposed catheter for human embryo transfer has the following advantages:

a) is bendable at a certain portion, so it can successfully adjust the shape and angle automatically and spontaneously according to the shape of the cervical canal and uterine cavity without delay or minor damage;

b) can be configured and maintained in the shape and angle given to it by the operating clinician to achieve easier, faster and more atraumatic entry into and through the cervical canal;

c) the ability to further reconfigure its shape and angle if deemed necessary;

d) the configuration of shape and angle is achieved without constricting the lumen of the catheter (alpha) affecting the function of the catheter (beta).
