1. A method for operating a machine tool (12), having the following steps:

-during a machining process in which at least one first workpiece of a first batch is machined by means of a machine tool (12): detecting at least one measured value by means of a detection device (16) of the machine tool (12) (step S1);

-determining at least one measured value (32) characterizing the process by means of an electronic computing device (12) on the basis of the measured variables detected during the process (step S2); and is

-comparing the determined measured values with at least one reference function, which is determined prior to the machining operation in accordance with at least one reference machining operation performed prior to the machining operation in time by means of the machine tool (10) and/or by means of another machine tool and which is stored in an electronic memory device (18), the reference function characterizing the reference machining operation performed for machining the at least one second workpiece of the second batch (step S3).

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the first and second light sources are selected from the group consisting of,

wherein at least one parameter influencing the machining process to be performed by means of the machine tool (12) is set as a function of the comparison.

3. The method according to claim 1 or 2,

the determined measured values are compared with at least one second reference function, which is determined prior to the machining operation in accordance with at least one second reference machining operation performed prior to the machining operation in time by means of the machine tool (12) and/or by means of another machine tool and is stored in an electronic memory device (18), said second reference function characterizing the second reference machining operation performed for machining at least one third workpiece of a third batch.

4. The method of claim 3, wherein the first and second light sources are selected from the group consisting of,

wherein the comparison comprises the execution of a combination, in particular a linear combination and preferably a convex combination, of the reference functions by means of an electronic computing device, whereby an actual function is determined which comprises the measured values (32) and characterizes the machining process.

5. The method of claim 4, wherein the first and second light sources are selected from the group consisting of,

wherein at least a part of the actual function is displayed visually by means of at least one function image (20, 20 ') in that the function image (20, 20') is displayed on an electronic display device (22).

6. The method according to claim 4 or 5,

at least one first value of at least one first parameter value influencing a machining process to be carried out by means of the machine tool (12) is calculated by means of the electronic calculation device (12) in such a way that at least one second value of at least one second parameter, the dependency of which on the first parameter is described by a real function, at least meets a predefinable or predefinable criterion.

7. The method of claim 6, wherein the first and second light sources are selected from the group consisting of,

wherein a reference machining process is carried out temporally upstream of the machining process, in which a second workpiece is machined by means of the machine tool (12), wherein during the reference machining process at least one measured variable is detected by means of a detection device (16) of the machine tool (12), wherein at least one reference measured value characterizing the reference machining process is determined by means of an electronic computing device (12) on the basis of the measured variable detected during the reference machining process, and wherein a reference function is determined on the basis of the reference measured value.

11. The method according to any one of the preceding claims,

wherein the reference function and/or the actual function and/or the measured value (32) and/or the reference measured value and/or the at least one first value of the at least one first parameter are provided and loaded into a data cloud (66) located outside with respect to the machine tool (12).

12. A machine tool (12) for machining a workpiece, wherein the machine tool (12) is designed for carrying out a method according to one of the preceding claims.
