The heating element 7 is spirally arranged in the shell 1 at the bottom of the oil-water separator. Because the heating element 7 is installed in the shell 1 of the oil-water separator through the adapter 2, when the adapter 2 is in threaded rotary connection with the shell 1, the heating element 7 rotates together and is spirally arranged in the shell 1, the heating area of the heating element 7 is increased, and the heating efficiency is ensured.
