A downlink transmission sending method is applied to User Equipment (UE), and comprises the following steps:

receiving a Radio Resource Control (RRC) release message, wherein the RRC release message carries positioning auxiliary information; the positioning auxiliary information is used for positioning measurement of the UE in an RRC non-connected state to obtain a positioning result; the RRC unconnected state comprises: RRC idle state and RRC inactive state.

The method of claim 1, wherein the method further comprises:

in response to the UE receiving a positioning request in an RRC unconnected state, performing positioning measurement according to the positioning assistance information in the RRC unconnected state;

and reporting a positioning result of the positioning measurement.

The method of claim 2, wherein the performing, in response to the UE receiving a positioning request in an RRC non-connected state, positioning measurements in the RRC non-connected state based on the positioning assistance information comprises:

in response to the UE receiving a valid location request in the RRC unconnected state, performing a location measurement in the RRC unconnected state.

The method of claim 3, wherein the valid location request is: a positioning request received by the UE in the RRC unconnected state within a valid time range of the positioning assistance information;

and/or

The effective positioning request is: the UE receives the positioning request in the RRC non-connected state within a valid spatial range of the positioning assistance information.

The method of claim 4, wherein determining a valid time range for the positioning assistance information comprises:

in response to the UE receiving the positioning request in the RRC non-connected state, determining that the positioning assistance information is valid if a timer that times the valid time range is not expired;

alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,

and if the locator is overtime, determining that the positioning auxiliary information is invalid.

The method of claim 4, wherein determining a valid spatial range of the positioning assistance information comprises:

in response to the UE receiving the positioning request in the RRC non-connected state, determining that the positioning assistance information is valid if the camping cell of the UE is a cell included in the valid spatial range;

alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,

and if the resident cell of the UE is not the cell included in the effective space range, determining that the positioning assistance information is invalid.

The method of any of claims 1 to 6, wherein the positioning assistance information comprises at least one of:

a measurement configuration of a positioning reference signal for performing the positioning measurement;

cell public parameter configuration for performing the positioning measurement;

valid time range indication information for indicating a valid time range of the positioning assistance information;

effective spatial range indication information for indicating an effective spatial range of the positioning assistance information.

The method of any of claims 1 to 6, wherein the connection release message comprises:

a first information element IE carrying indication information indicating that the UE is switched from a connected state to an RRC non-connected state;

and/or

A second IE carrying the positioning assistance information.

The method of any of claims 1 to 6, wherein the method further comprises:

switching from the RRC non-connected state to an RRC connected state in response to failure of the positioning assistance information;

and performing positioning measurement in the RRC connected state.

A downlink transmission sending method is applied to a base station, and comprises the following steps:

sending a Radio Resource Control (RRC) release message, wherein the RRC release message carries positioning auxiliary information; the positioning auxiliary information is used for positioning measurement of User Equipment (UE) in an RRC (radio resource control) non-connected state; the RRC unconnected state comprises: RRC idle state and RRC inactive state.

The method of claim 10, wherein the method further comprises:

and receiving a positioning result obtained by positioning measurement based on the positioning auxiliary information.

The method of claim 11, wherein the receiving a positioning result based on the positioning assistance information positioning measurement comprises:

receiving the positioning result obtained based on the positioning assistance information positioning measurement when the positioning assistance information is valid.

The method of claim 12, wherein the positioning assistance information being valid comprises:

the current time is within a valid time range of the positioning assistance information;

and/or

The UE is located within a valid spatial range of the positioning assistance information.

The method of claim 13, wherein the current time is within a valid time range of the positioning assistance information, comprising:

the current time is within a timing range of a timer in the UE for positioning the valid time range;

and/or

The UE is located within a valid spatial range of the positioning assistance information, including:

the UE's camping cell is located within a cell included in the effective spatial range of the positioning assistance information.

The method of claim 13, wherein the method further comprises:

and receiving a positioning result obtained by positioning measurement after the UE is switched to an RRC (radio resource control) connected state when the positioning auxiliary information is invalid.

The method of any of claims 10 to 15, wherein the positioning assistance information comprises at least one of:

a measurement configuration of a positioning reference signal for performing the positioning measurement;

cell public parameter configuration for performing the positioning measurement;

valid time range indication information for indicating a valid time range of the positioning assistance information;

effective spatial range indication information for indicating an effective spatial range of the positioning assistance information.

The method of any of claims 10 to 15, wherein the connection release message comprises:

a first information element IE carrying indication information indicating that the UE is switched from a connected state to an RRC non-connected state;

and/or

A second IE carrying the positioning assistance information.

A downlink transmission sending device, wherein the downlink transmission sending device is applied to User Equipment (UE), and the device comprises:

a first receiving module, configured to receive a radio resource control RRC release message, where the RRC release message carries positioning assistance information; the positioning auxiliary information is used for the UE to perform positioning measurement in an RRC non-connected state to obtain a positioning result; the RRC unconnected state comprises: RRC idle state and RRC inactive state.

The apparatus of claim 18, wherein the apparatus further comprises:

a positioning module configured to perform positioning measurement according to the positioning assistance information in an RRC unconnected state in response to the UE receiving a positioning request in the RRC unconnected state, wherein the RRC unconnected state includes: an RRC idle state and an RRC inactive state;

the first sending module is configured to report a positioning result of the positioning measurement.

The apparatus of claim 17, wherein the positioning module is configured to perform positioning measurements in the RRC non-connected state in response to the UE receiving a valid positioning request in the RRC non-connected state.

The apparatus of claim 20, wherein,

the effective positioning request is: a positioning request received by the UE in the RRC unconnected state within a valid time range of the positioning assistance information;

and/or

The effective positioning request is: the UE receives the positioning request in the RRC non-connected state within a valid spatial range of the positioning assistance information.

The apparatus of claim 21, wherein the positioning module is configured to determine that the positioning assistance information is valid in response to the UE receiving the positioning request in the RRC non-connected state if a timer that times the valid time range does not expire; or, if the locator is overtime, determining that the positioning auxiliary information is invalid.

The apparatus of claim 21, wherein the positioning module is configured to determine that the positioning assistance information is valid in response to the UE receiving the positioning request in the RRC non-connected state, if a camping cell of the UE is a cell included in the valid spatial range; or, if the cell where the UE resides is not the cell included in the valid spatial range, determining that the positioning assistance information is invalid.

The apparatus of any of claims 18 to 23, wherein the positioning assistance information comprises at least one of:

a measurement configuration of a positioning reference signal for performing the positioning measurement;

cell public parameter configuration for performing the positioning measurement;

valid time range indication information for indicating a valid time range of the positioning assistance information;

effective spatial range indication information for indicating an effective spatial range of the positioning assistance information.

The apparatus of any of claims 18 to 23, wherein the connection release message comprises:

a first information element IE carrying indication information indicating that the UE is switched from a connected state to an RRC non-connected state;

and/or

A second IE carrying the positioning assistance information.

The apparatus of any one of claims 18 to 23, wherein the apparatus further comprises:

a switching module configured to switch from the RRC non-connected state to a connected state in response to the positioning assistance information failing;

the positioning module is further configured to perform positioning measurement in the RRC connected state.

A downlink transmission sending device, wherein the downlink transmission sending device is applied to a base station, and the device comprises:

a second sending module, configured to issue a radio resource control RRC release message, where the RRC release message carries the positioning assistance information; the positioning auxiliary information is used for positioning measurement of User Equipment (UE) in an RRC (radio resource control) non-connected state; the RRC unconnected state comprises: RRC idle state and RRC inactive state.

The apparatus of claim 27, wherein the apparatus further comprises:

a second receiving module configured to receive a positioning result obtained based on the positioning assistance information positioning measurement.

The apparatus of claim 28, wherein the second receiving module is configured to receive the positioning result obtained based on the positioning assistance information positioning measurement when the positioning assistance information is valid.

The apparatus of claim 28, wherein the positioning assistance information is valid comprising:

the current time is within a valid time range of the positioning assistance information;

and/or

The UE is located within a valid spatial range of the positioning assistance information.

The apparatus of claim 30, wherein the current time is within a valid time range of the positioning assistance information, comprising:

the current time is within a timing range of a timer in the UE for positioning the valid time range;

and/or

The UE is located within a valid spatial range of the positioning assistance information, including:

the UE's camping cell is located within a cell included in the effective spatial range of the positioning assistance information.

The apparatus of claim 28, wherein the second receiving module is configured to receive a positioning result obtained by positioning measurement after the UE switches to an RRC connected state when the positioning assistance information is invalid.

The apparatus of any of claims 27 to 32, wherein the positioning assistance information comprises at least one of:

a measurement configuration of a positioning reference signal for performing the positioning measurement;

cell public parameter configuration for performing the positioning measurement;

valid time range indication information for indicating a valid time range of the positioning assistance information;

effective spatial range indication information for indicating an effective spatial range of the positioning assistance information.

The apparatus of any of claims 27 to 32, wherein the connection release message comprises:

a first information element IE carrying indication information indicating that the UE is switched from a connected state to an RRC non-connected state;

and/or

A second IE carrying the positioning assistance information.

A communication device comprising a processor, a transceiver, a memory, and an executable program stored on the memory and executable by the processor, wherein the processor, when executing the executable program, performs a method as provided in any of claims 1 to 9 or 10 to 17.

A computer readable storage medium on which an executable program is stored, wherein the executable program when executed by a processor implements a method as provided by any one of claims 1 to 9 or 10 to 17.
