1. A needle machine for consolidating fibrous webs, in particular nonwoven sheets, by needling, comprising: a series of pin field plates, each plate having at least one respective pin field protruding from one face of the plate, referred to as the pin face; means for moving the web in front of the needles of the plates of the series of plates; and means for moving the needles transversely back and forth in the direction of movement of the web, so that the latter pass in one direction through the web passing in front of them, then in another orientation, the series of needle field plates includes at least a first plate and a second plate, the first plate including a first needle field, the second plate comprising a second field of stitches, the first field of stitches being arranged on the needle side of the plate according to a first pattern of stitches, and the second field of pins is arranged on the pin face of the second plate according to a second pin face pattern, characterized in that said first stitch pattern is such that it cannot be superimposed on its image by rotating it by 180 DEG with respect to an axis parallel to the direction of the needle and/or to the direction of motion of the needle, and the second needle pattern is identical to the first needle pattern but rotated 180 deg. with respect to the axis parallel to the direction of the needles and/or to the direction of movement of the needles.

2. The needling machine according to claim 1, characterized in that the two fields of the first and second field are placed one next to the other.

3. The needle machine according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that said first field and said second field have a needle field pattern, said needle field pattern being called random or pseudo-random pattern.

A needle machine according to claim 1, 2 or 3, characterized in that the first field of needles and the second field of needles are formed on respective plates having the same shape which enables a distinction to be made between a plate and the same plate rotated by 180 ° with respect to an axis parallel to the direction of the needles and/or to the direction of movement of the needles.

A needle loom as claimed in claim 1, 2, 3 or 4, wherein said first and second fields are formed on respective said first and second plates, said first and second plates having first and second shapes which are different from one another in addition to said fields, for example, said first and second shapes having different respective symbols or indicia, such that a user can readily see the orientation of said first field relative to said second field in said series of plates, and can therefore readily position said second field rotated 180 ° relative to said first field.

A needle machine as claimed in claim 4 or 5, characterized in that each plate has an asymmetrical symbol or sign, that is to say that by rotating each plate by 180 ° with respect to an axis parallel to the direction of the needles and/or to the direction of movement of the needles, for example an arrow defining the direction, the image of each plate is not identical or can not be overlapped, so that the user can easily see in which direction the plate is placed with respect to another plate of the series of plates, and thus rotate the second plate by 180 ° with respect to the first plate, in particular when the second plate and the first plate are identical.

7. A needle machine as claimed in claim 6, characterized in that the asymmetrical symbol or marking is constituted by the border lines of the needle field.

A needle board for forming part of a needle loom, the needle field projecting from one needle face of the board, the needle field being arranged according to a needle face pattern which cannot be superimposed on an image of the needle board by a rotation of 180 ° with respect to an axis parallel to the direction of the needles and/or the direction of movement of the needles, characterized in that the shape of the board and/or the shape of the borderlines of the needle field and/or the position, e.g. an eccentric position, of the needle field on the needle face of the board enables a distinction to be made between the board and the same board rotated 180 ° with respect to an axis parallel to the direction of the needles and/or the direction of movement of the needles.

9. A needle board according to claim 8, characterised in that the pattern of the needle field is a random or pseudo-random pattern.

10. A needle board as claimed in claim 8 or 9, wherein the boards have asymmetrical symbols or indicia, such as arrows defining directions, so that a user can easily see in which direction the board has been placed relative to another board in the series and so position the second board rotated 180 ° relative to the first board.

11. A set of needle boards for a needle loom, the needle boards comprising at least a first board and a second board, a first needle park projecting from the needle side of the first board and a second needle park projecting from the needle side of the second board, the two needle sides forming respectively the same needle side pattern, while the two boards have mutually different shapes, in particular respectively different signs, apart from the needle parks.

12. Fibrous web, in particular a nonwoven sheet, consolidated by passage through a needle loom according to any of claims 1 to 7.

13. A series of at least two needle machines for consolidating fibrous webs, in particular for consolidating non-woven fabric sheets, by needling, each comprising: a series of pin field plates, each plate having a respective pin field protruding from one pin face of the plate; means for moving the web in front of the needle boards in the series of boards; and means for moving the needles back and forth in a direction transverse to the movement of the web, so that they cross the fibrous web in front of them in one direction and then in the other direction, characterized in that one of the plates with a respective needle-face pattern is placed on one of the needle-punching machines and one of the plates with a respective needle-face pattern rotated by 180 ° is placed on the other of the at least two needle-punching machines.
