Background

In northern areas such as the central and south areas of Hebei, a traditional sweet potato storage method is available in rural areas, namely, sweet potatoes are stored in a vertical round shaft kiln, however, because the shaft kiln is of a structure which is vertical up and down, the shaft kiln is very inconvenient to enter and exit, poor in ventilation, and difficult to control temperature, humidity and ventilation. The combination of the factors also causes the problems that the sweet potatoes are easy to rot, have poor preservation quality and have low economic benefit in the storage process.

Preferably, the first gate is located at a relatively high position on the inclined bottom slope surface, the second gate is located at a relatively low position on the inclined bottom slope surface, and the first gate is flush with the ground; the inclined angle of the inclined bottom slope surface is 10 degrees to 20 degrees.

The storage method is suitable for Pushu 32, Niyanshu 25, Shanshu 19, Jishu 25, Xushu 18, Qin Shu 18, Longshu 9, and Jishu 26.
