Background

The emulsion is a transmission medium of hydraulic equipment of a coal mine, plays a role of blood in a hydraulic system, and is not beneficial to the use of the equipment performance due to overhigh or overlow concentration. With the development of fully mechanized mining technology, racks with pilot operated hydraulic systems are used more and more mines. As a working medium of the hydraulic support, the emulsion has the characteristics of low viscosity, good corrosion resistance, rust resistance and lubricating effect, low price and the like, and is widely applied to underground coal mines. The performance of the emulsion and the control of the concentration play a direct role in the service life of hydraulic elements such as a hydraulic support jack, an operating valve, a hydraulic lock, a high-pressure pipe, a sealing ring and the like.

The traditional emulsion preparation method has two kinds, which are respectively:

(1) preparing liquid manually: the operator directly mixes the water and the emulsified oil in a certain proportion on the working face. The working principle is based on the jet pump principle. The neutral water of the injection fluid is sprayed into the mixing chamber at a high speed through a nozzle for liquid preparation to generate vacuum at the position, and the emulsified oil is pumped into the main injection flow, so that the water and the emulsified oil are fully mixed into the emulsified liquid with a certain proportion of concentration. In order to adjust the concentration, a variable throttling device is arranged on the injected emulsion pipeline, and the concentration proportion of the emulsion is changed by adjusting the throttling device in the liquid distribution process. The method mainly depends on the experience of an operator, is easy and convenient to operate, and has poor precision of the prepared emulsion.

(2) Automatic liquid preparation: the main difference between automatic liquid preparation and manual liquid preparation is that a float valve replaces a stop valve in a manual liquid preparation mode, and emulsion is automatically prepared according to the liquid level. And when the liquid level reaches the controlled highest liquid level, the system is automatically closed, and the liquid supply is stopped. During the liquid supply process, the mixing of the emulsified oil and the neutral water is automatically completed. The precision of the automatic emulsion preparation is poor, the requirement of coal mine safety regulation on the concentration of the emulsion of 3-5 percent cannot be met, and the phenomena that the over-proportioning is not timely and the pump of the emulsion pumps is empty to cause equipment damage occur.

Therefore, in view of the above disadvantages, it is desirable to provide a pump box for automatically proportioning an emulsion.
