Specifically, when the personal care appliance is charged in a wired manner, the sealing member 14 is generally detached from the handle housing 11 or the charging base 13, so that the charging base 13 is exposed, and particularly the charging interface 132 is exposed, so as to be connected to an external power source, and during the charging process, the sealing member 14 does not seal the charging base 13 all the time, that is, the charging base 13 is in an open state. Therefore, the method and the device need to judge whether the personal care appliance is in a charging state or not, if the personal care appliance is in the charging state, the process is ended, and waterproof prompt is not carried out; if not, the following steps are executed. The charging signal value may also be initialized before determining whether the personal care appliance is in a charging state, and the charging trigger signal may be received after the personal care appliance is initialized to a configuration. The state of charge can be determined by the control unit 15.

Step S2: detecting whether an alarm signal exists;

if so, S3 is executed, otherwise, the flow ends.

In the present application, it is necessary to detect whether an alarm signal is present if the personal care appliance is in a non-charging state. In a non-charging state, acquiring a current analog signal value of the charging base 13; comparing the current analog signal value with a specified threshold value, and determining the current connection state of the charging base 13 and the sealing element 14; when the charging base 13 is in an open state, an alarm signal is sent out. The designated threshold is any analog signal value of the charging base 13 in the sealed state, and may be preset according to actual requirements, and the designated threshold may be 0 or other number, and when the current analog signal value of the charging base 13 is in the designated threshold, the charging base 13 is in the sealed state at this time. The analog signal may be an electrical signal, such as an analog signal being one of a current, a voltage, a resistance, and a capacitance. If the analog signal value is gradually increased when the sealing member 14 moves away from the charging base 13, an alarm signal is sent out when the analog signal value is greater than a specified threshold value; if the analog signal value is gradually reduced when the sealing member 14 moves away from the charging base 13, an alarm signal is sent when the analog signal value is smaller than a specified threshold value. Before detecting whether the alarm signal exists, the analog signal corresponding to the charging base 13 can be initialized, and after the personal care appliance is initialized and configured, the analog signal corresponding to the charging base 13 is received. The analog signal may be detected by the signal detection unit 17 and sent to the control unit 15.

Step S3: and controlling the personal care appliance to send out prompt information according to the alarm signal.

It can be understood that after the alarm signal of the personal care appliance is acquired, the application can send prompt information to the user. The prompt information may be one of a display screen or an indicator light flashing, a color change of the display screen or the indicator light, a prompt tone or a motor vibration, or a combination of several kinds of information, for example, the alarm unit 16 for sending the prompt information includes a first alarm device and a second alarm device, the first alarm device is an alarm device visible to a user such as an indicator light, a display, etc., and reminds the user through the light flashing or the color change; the second alarm device is a vibration or sound device, such as a motor vibration frequency change or a buzzer or a loudspeaker. The analog signal may be provided by one of a sensor and a touch switch, and if provided by a sensor, the sensor may be one or more of a hall sensor, an infrared sensor, a distance sensor, a force sensor, and a light sensitive sensor.

Therefore, the invention detects whether the alarm signal exists or not in the non-charging state, and controls the personal care appliance to send out the prompt information according to the alarm signal if the alarm signal exists, so as to prompt the user to seal the charging interface 131 in time, thereby effectively reducing the risk that external water enters the personal care appliance through the charging interface, effectively ensuring the service life of the personal care appliance, improving the user experience, and solving the problem that the water enters the personal care appliance because the charging interface 131 is not sealed by the user in the prior art.

In one embodiment, before detecting whether the alarm signal exists, the waterproof charging prompting method further includes: and monitoring whether the charging base 13 recovers the sealing state, and when the charging base 13 recovers the sealing state, no alarm signal is sent out. After the user seals the charging base 13 in time, no alarm prompt is given.

In one embodiment, before detecting whether the alarm signal exists, the waterproof charging prompting method further includes:

determining not to perform the step of detecting whether an alarm signal is present in response to an operation by a user.

The description will be made in detail with an example in which the personal care appliance is an electric toothbrush, but the user does not need the waterproof charging prompt function. The user can turn off or cancel the function through the button of the electric toothbrush, so that the electric toothbrush is prevented from consuming electricity, and the service life is prolonged. The electric toothbrush may be provided with a charging mode, and when the user selects the charging mode, it is determined that the step of detecting whether the alarm signal exists is not performed, thereby avoiding unnecessary alarm. And a gravity sensor can be arranged, and the charging waterproof prompt function is started under the condition that the electric toothbrush has displacement.

According to the technical scheme, the personal care appliance with the waterproof prompt comprises a control unit 15, an alarm unit 16 and at least one signal detection unit 17, when a user does not seal or correctly seal a charging interface 131, the signal detection unit 17 sends an analog signal to the control unit 15, the alarm unit 16 responds to the analog signal and transmits corresponding prompt information to the user, the prompt information can be one or more of color change of a prompt lamp, twinkling or normal lighting of the prompt lamp, prompt sound or motor vibration, and prompts the user to seal the charging interface 131 in time, so that the risk that external water enters the personal care appliance through the charging interface is effectively reduced, the service life of the personal care appliance is effectively guaranteed, and the user experience is improved; handle casing 11 and base casing 134 once mould plastics and form, need not additionally to set up base casing 134, need not to set up seal structure between handle casing 11 and base casing 134 simultaneously, have simplified technology, have reduced manufacturing cost, have effectively promoted the water-proof effects of personal care utensil. The invention further provides a charging waterproof prompting method.
