recording the number of turns of the impeller by the metering assembly to obtain first data of water flow rate;

judging the metering error of the water meter component by comparing the first data with the second data;

and judging the influence of each design parameter of the metering component on the precision of the water meter based on the metering error.

Background

In the field of mechanical water meters, along with the continuous improvement of the metering grade and the metering precision of the water meter, the design and manufacturing requirements on parts of the water meter are higher and higher. And determining the quantitative impact of individual components on the metering accuracy of a water meter becomes a key to guiding improvements in the design and manufacture of water meter components.

In mechanical water meters, the degree and manner of influence of individual components on the metering accuracy of the water meter are different. During the operation of the mechanical water meter, the overall metering accuracy of the mechanical water meter is determined by the influence of the single component on the metering accuracy, particularly the influence of the single component on the metering accuracy under the low-flow condition.
