Background

At present, ball valves used in nuclear power, oil and natural gas industries are generally of a traditional one-piece (top-loading) structure, a two-piece structure or a three-piece structure and the like, and the valve rod/shaft drives a ball body to rotate to open and close the valve. The ball valve has the advantages of small volume, light weight, good flow force, stable and reliable sealing, simple structure, easy maintenance and the like. After long-term use, the traditional ball valve is used under the condition of foreign matters, impurities or coking media, and the foreign matters, the impurities or the coking existing in the media and the process pipeline are easily caused to be retained in the middle cavity of the ball valve, so that the abrasion or scratch between the ball body and the valve seat sealing pair as well as between the valve rod and the bearing during the opening and closing process of the ball valve is caused, the service life of the ball valve is shortened, and the operation of a process system where the valve is located is influenced.

Compared with the traditional ball valve, the ball valve has the advantages that the ball valve not only keeps the small volume, light weight, good flow capacity, stable and reliable sealing, simple structure and easy maintenance of the traditional ball valve, but also realizes the cleaning of the retentate such as media, foreign matters, impurities or coking and the like retained in the middle cavity, reduces the disassembly or replacement frequency of the ball valve, reduces the labor intensity of workers, and reduces the maintenance cost of the owner in the use process.

The invention does not increase the volume and the weight of the ball valve, but fully utilizes the special middle cavity space of the ball valve, realizes the cleaning of the retention materials such as media, foreign matters, impurities or coking and the like retained in the middle cavity, and greatly improves the service life of the ball valve. Through the through hole 8 on the washing flange 3 and the setting of cleaning medium passageway and washing entry 2 can freely realize the acceleration or the pressure boost of cleaning medium for it is more thorough to the washing of spheroid 4, and the cleaning performance is better.
