Technical Field

The invention belongs to the technical field of 3D printing, and particularly relates to a post-processing method and application of a photocuring 3D printing model.

Background

3D printing is from the photographic sculpture and the landform forming technology of the American research over 100 years ago, the past 80 s of the past century has a prototype with the scientific name of 'rapid prototyping', which is a technology for constructing an object by using a bondable material such as powdered metal or plastic and the like in a layer-by-layer printing mode on the basis of a digital model file; the working principle is that data and raw materials are put into a 3D printer, the machine builds a product layer by layer according to a program, and the printed model product can be used immediately. In order to enable the printing model to meet the use standard requirement, a series of subsequent treatments such as model shaping, curing and the like are required, and the model product processed by the existing model post-treatment method is adopted, so that on one hand, the surface material of the finished module is rough and uneven, the attractiveness is influenced, and the use standard requirement cannot be met, and on the other hand, the processing method is complex, complicated, high in technical requirement, expensive in equipment and not beneficial to small and medium enterprises and personal application; meanwhile, the product processed by the model has low qualification rate, thereby increasing the resource, energy waste and production cost investment.

At present, the mainstream post-treatment process in the industry is to take a 3D printing model off a printing platform, spin-dry the model surface by a centrifuge or a spin dryer to remove most of resin, wash the model surface by an organic solvent, wash the model surface by water, dry the model surface to remove water, and coat a coating to perform heat curing treatment.

CN104149366A discloses a post-processing method for a 3D printing model, which comprises the following steps of 1, cleaning the surface of the model, wherein a plastic cleaning agent is adopted for cleaning; step 2, fixing and forming, wherein fixing and forming are carried out by adopting fixing liquid and shaping salt for 10-20 m; step 3, electrostatic dust removal, wherein the dust removal time is 15-30 min; and 4, drying and curing, wherein a microwave dryer or an electrostatic drying oven is adopted for drying and curing. The post-processing method for the 3D printing model provided by the invention has the following advantages: 1. the processing steps are simple to operate, the surface of the processed model is uniformly and attractively sprayed, and the qualification rate of the product is improved; 2. the working efficiency of model processing is high, the production material, energy consumption and production cost investment are reduced, and the energy-saving requirement is met; meanwhile, the finished product of the model treated by the method has excellent performances such as corrosion resistance, wear resistance and the like.

CN108995218A discloses a post-processing method of 3D printed matter. The processing method comprises the following steps: a. preparing a solution, and dissolving the 3D printing raw material in an organic solvent to obtain a solution with the concentration of 0.05-0.5 g/ml; b. coating the solution on the surface of the 3D printing part by using a coating method, a spraying method or a dipping method; c. and then, placing the surface of the 3D printing part wrapped with the solution into a vacuum oven to be heated to remove the solvent, and finally obtaining the processed 3D printing part. The invention greatly improves the surface smoothness of the sample through post-treatment, and can obtain a color printing product by adding the pigment. Meanwhile, the method can be used for coating a layer of filler on the surface of a printed product, so that the printed product has good performances of electric conduction, electromagnetic shielding and the like.

CN110039784A discloses a post-processing method for 3D printed workpieces, which includes the following operation steps: immersing the 3D printing workpiece in fluid at 45-100 ℃ for heating, and eliminating the internal stress of the 3D printing workpiece; roughly polishing the surface to be painted of the 3D printing workpiece; coating a polishing layer: coating a fluid or soft coating material on the surface to be painted of the 3D printing workpiece, enabling the coating material to partially permeate into interlayer gaps on the surface of the 3D printing workpiece, and curing the coating material to obtain a polishing layer formed on the surface to be painted of the 3D printing workpiece; polishing the polishing layer; and painting and coloring the surface of the polished layer. The 3D printing workpiece post-processing method provided by the invention can effectively improve the structural strength and toughness of the 3D printing workpiece, and meanwhile, the surface of the 3D printing workpiece is smooth and flat, and the aesthetic property of the subsequent paint spraying effect is improved.

However, the light-cured resin may generate an oxygen inhibition effect, and the oxygen inhibition effect may cause that the 3D printing model cannot perform a complete light-curing reaction in the process of contacting oxygen, thereby causing that the surface of the model has a soft hardness and is easily scratched.

Therefore, it is an urgent technical problem for those skilled in the art to develop a post-processing method which is simple to operate and can obtain a 3D printed material with high hardness.

Disclosure of Invention

Aiming at the defects of the prior art, the invention aims to provide a post-processing method of a photocuring 3D printing model; the post-processing method comprises the steps of cleaning a 3D printing model, placing the 3D printing model in water for photocuring treatment, and finishing post-processing of the photocuring 3D printing model; according to the post-processing method, the 3D printing model is placed in water and then subjected to photocuring treatment, so that the 3D printing model is prevented from being in contact with oxygen, the curing reaction is ensured to be thorough in the photocuring treatment process, and the cured 3D printing material is higher in surface hardness, higher in scratch resistance and smoother.

In order to achieve the purpose, the invention adopts the following technical scheme:

In the prior art, most of post-treatment processes of 3D printing materials are to take a 3D printing model off a printing platform, spin-dry the 3D printing model by a centrifuge or a spin dryer to remove most of resin on the surface of the 3D printing model, clean the 3D printing model by an organic solvent, clean the 3D printing model by water, dry the 3D printing model to remove water on the surface of the 3D printing model, coat the 3D printing model with a coating, and then heat-cure the 3D printing model; the method has the problems of complex operation and poor quality of cured products.

The post-processing method of the photocuring 3D printing model provided by the invention comprises the steps of firstly putting the cleaned 3D printing model into water to ensure that water can submerge the 3D printing model, then carrying out photocuring treatment on the 3D printing model put into the water together to ensure that the UV wavelength in the photocuring treatment is consistent with the initiation wavelength of an initiator in the 3D printing model, effectively avoiding the contact of an organic polymer which is not fully reacted in the 3D printing model and oxygen, further avoiding the generation of an oxygen inhibition effect, and fully carrying out photopolymerization in the photocuring treatment process, so that the material obtained by the post-processing method provided by the invention has high surface hardness, is smooth, and has excellent scratch resistance.

Preferably, the cleaning further comprises a draining step.

Preferably, the draining is performed in a centrifuge or a dryer.

As a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the purpose of draining before cleaning is to dry the resin remaining on the surface of the 3D printing model.

Preferably, the washing comprises washing with an organic solvent.

Preferably, the light curing treatment is performed in a UV light box.

Preferably, the photocuring time is 1-5 min, such as 1.5min, 2min, 2.5min, 3min, 3.5min, 4min or 4.5 min.

The wavelength of the photocuring treatment is the same as the initiation wavelength of the initiator in the photocuring 3D printing model.

As a preferred technical solution of the present invention, the wavelength of the photocuring treatment which is the same as the initiation wavelength of the initiator in the photocuring 3D printing model is adopted to enable the initiator in the 3D printing model to be initiated better, so that the photopolymerization reaction is more sufficient.

Preferably, the post-processing method comprises: and (3) draining the 3D printing model, cleaning and drying by adopting an organic solvent, and placing the 3D printing model in water to carry out photocuring treatment in a UV lamp box for 1-5 min to complete the post-treatment of the photocuring 3D printing model.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following beneficial effects:

(1) the post-processing method of the photocuring 3D printing model provided by the invention comprises the following steps: firstly, cleaning a 3D printing model, placing the 3D printing model in water for photocuring, and then performing photocuring treatment by the post-treatment method, so that the 3D printing model is isolated from oxygen, and the phenomenon that the 3D printing model is contacted with oxygen in the photocuring treatment process to generate an oxygen inhibition effect and further cannot perform thorough photocuring reaction is avoided; the post-treatment method ensures that the photopolymerization reaction is completely carried out, so that the surface hardness of the cured material is higher, the Shore hardness is 85-87, the scratch resistance is stronger, and the cured material is smoother.

(2) Compared with a coating method adopted in the prior art, the post-treatment method provided by the invention is simpler to operate, does not damage the surface of the resin, saves the cost and time, and is more suitable for industrial batch application.

Example 1

A post-processing method of a photocuring 3D printing model specifically comprises the following operations: and (2) draining uncured resin liquid on the surface of a 3D printing model (acrylic resin) by a centrifugal machine, then cleaning by using ethanol, drying the ethanol on the surface of the model by using an air gun, putting the dried 3D printing model into a transparent container filled with deionized water to ensure that the water can submerge the 3D printing model, then putting the container and the 3D printing model into a UV lamp box (with the wavelength of 400-410) together for photocuring for 5min, and finishing the post-treatment of the photocuring 3D printing model.

Example 2

A post-processing method of a photocuring 3D printing model specifically comprises the following steps: the method comprises the steps of draining uncured resin liquid on the surface of a 3D printing model (acrylic resin) through a centrifugal machine, cleaning with ethanol, drying the ethanol on the surface of the model with an air gun, putting the dried 3D printing model into a transparent container filled with deionized water to ensure that the water can submerge the 3D printing model, putting the container and the 3D printing model into a UV lamp box together for carrying out photocuring treatment for 2min, and finishing the post-treatment of the photocuring 3D printing model.

As can be seen from the data in table 1:

the hardness of the photocuring 3D printing material obtained by the post-treatment method provided by the invention is obviously improved, the Shore hardness of the photocuring 3D printing material obtained in the embodiments 1-3 is 85-87, and the improvement of the hardness is beneficial to the improvement of the scratch resistance of the surface of the material.

Comparing example 1 with comparative example 1, example 2 with comparative example 2, and example 3 with comparative example 3, it can be seen that the post-treatment method provided by the present invention helps to increase the hardness of the material compared to the prior art method in which curing is performed directly in air.

The applicant states that the present invention describes a post-processing method of a photocuring 3D printing model and an application thereof through the above embodiments, but the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, that is, it does not mean that the present invention must be implemented by the above embodiments. It should be understood by those skilled in the art that any modification of the present invention, equivalent substitutions of the raw materials of the product of the present invention, addition of auxiliary components, selection of specific modes, etc., are within the scope and disclosure of the present invention.
