Background

With the continuous development of intelligent conveying equipment, the demand of the caster is more and more; thermoplastic elastomer casters are widely used in conveying equipment. The thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer has excellent wear resistance, and the thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer is wrapped on the framework, so that the polyurethane caster with high bearing capacity, good buffering performance and good wear resistance can be obtained.

The thermoplastic elastomer rubber coating is a process of coating a thermoplastic elastomer serving as a soft rubber on a hard rubber in an injection molding mode. The process is mainly used for producing double-color injection products such as handles, mobile phone shells, toys and stationery, and a layer of soft glue is coated on the hard plastic so as to achieve the effect of improving hand feeling. The injection molding process is low in cost and simple, and thus, is advantageous in mass production.

Most of the traditional thermoplastic elastomer rubber coating adopts injection molding of hard rubber and then injection molding of soft rubber, and because the melting points and polarities of the hard rubber and the soft rubber are greatly different, nylon cannot be coated well, and only a thin layer can be coated barely; if the thickness of polyurethane is large, the adhesion of polyurethane and nylon is insufficient, and the rubber is easily stripped. This is completely substandard for injection molded products with thicker lagging materials such as casters.

The invention aims to solve the problems and provides a thermoplastic elastomer caster and an injection molding process thereof.

The invention adopts the following technical scheme: a thermoplastic elastomer caster comprises a thermoplastic elastomer layer, a framework layer and a bearing, wherein the framework layer used for supporting is arranged on the outer side of the bearing, the thermoplastic elastomer layer is wrapped on the outer side of the framework layer, and a plurality of spaced bulges are arranged on the inner side surface of the thermoplastic elastomer layer.

The invention has the beneficial effects that: the preparation method is simple, the steps are easy to operate, the inner surface of the thermoplastic elastomer layer is provided with the plurality of spaced bulges, the thermoplastic elastomer layer and the framework layer can be fully fused into a whole, and the prepared caster has strong bearing capacity and better buffering property and wear resistance.

As shown in fig. 1-2, the thermoplastic elastomer caster comprises a thermoplastic elastomer layer 1, a skeleton layer 2 and a bearing 3, wherein the outside of the bearing 3 is provided with the skeleton layer 2 for supporting, the outside of the skeleton layer 2 is wrapped with the thermoplastic elastomer layer 1, the inside surface of the thermoplastic elastomer layer 1 is provided with a plurality of spaced protrusions 4, the inner diameter of the bearing 3 is 4-60 mm, the thickness of the thermoplastic elastomer layer 1 is 0.5-100 mm, and the thickness of the skeleton layer 2 is 2-130 mm. The elastomeric castors finally obtained were tested: the hardness is 95A, and the volume abrasion is 18 mm3The peel force between the hard and soft gels was 1530N.

Example two:

drying a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and a framework material filled with 30% of fiber PA6 for 3 hours at about 100 ℃, then respectively adding the TPE and the framework material into two charging barrels of a two-color injection molding machine, firstly injecting the TPE at the injection temperature of 190 plus one material, then injecting the framework material PA6 at the injection temperature of 200 plus one material, wherein the inner side surface of the thermoplastic elastomer layer is provided with a plurality of spaced bulges which are arc-shaped, and then injecting the framework layer so that the bulges are embedded into the framework layer and are integrated with the framework layer.

The elastomeric castors finally obtained were tested: the hardness is 95A, and the volume abrasion is 69 mm3The peel force of the hard glue and the soft glue is 1500N.

Example three:

the thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer TPU and the framework material polycarbonate PC are dried for 3 hours at about 100 ℃, and then are respectively added into two charging barrels of a double-color injection molding machine, the thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer TPU is firstly injected at the injection temperature of 210 plus 240 ℃, then the framework material PC is injected at the injection temperature of 220 plus 270 ℃, a plurality of spaced bulges are arranged on the inner side surface of the thermoplastic elastomer layer, the bulges are in an arc shape, and then the bulges are embedded into the framework layer to be integrated with the framework layer after the framework layer is injected.
