The water level monitoring station comprises the following working procedures:

The automatic flood discharge function: when the water surface continuously rises, the top surface of the monitoring platform 10 is abutted to the flood discharge device 46, and then the flood discharge device 46 transmits a flood discharge signal to the flood discharge motor, so that the flood discharge motor is turned on, the flood discharge gear 52 rotates, the flood discharge plate 50 slides upwards, and water is discharged through the flood discharge cavity 49.

Automatic lightning protection: when meeting with thunderstorm weather, the rainwater drips into in the amasss rain chamber 56, makes amasss rain chamber 56 slides downwards, until amasss rain chamber 56 with 17 butt, then 17 will contact signal transmits for the lightning-arrest motor, make the lightning-arrest motor open, make sliding gear 61 rotates, make lightning rod 62 follow upwards roll-off in the lightning-arrest chamber 16.
