1. A composition comprising:

(A) at least one polymer comprising:

(a) a core with 1-3 moieties of formula (I):

wherein Z is different or the same and is selected from C2-C12Alkylene and C3-C12Cycloalkylene radical, wherein C2-C12Alkylene and C3-C12Cycloalkylene radicals may be unsubstituted or substituted by one or more O-C1-C4Alkyl substituted and wherein C3-C12Cycloalkylene groups may carry from 1 to 3 methyl groups,

X1selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, methyl and ethyl, and combinations of at least two of the foregoing,

n is in the range of 1 to 4,

(b) a polyoxyalkylene chain.

2. The composition according to claim 1, wherein all Z are selected from cyclohexylene and cyclopentylene, each unsubstituted or substituted by 1-2 methyl or methoxy groups.

3. The composition according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the composition additionally comprises:

(B) at least one lipase.

4. A composition according to claim 3, wherein the composition comprises a lipase (B) selected from the group consisting of triacylglycerol lipases (EC 3.1.1.3).

5. The composition according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the composition comprises:

(C) at least one anionic surfactant.

6. A composition according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the composition is of the gel type or liquid at ambient temperature.

7. Composition according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the polymer (A) has an average in the range of from 1,000 and 80,000g/molMolecular weight Mw

10. A polymer comprising:

(a) a core with 1-3 moieties of formula (I):

wherein Z is different or the same and is selected from C2-C12Alkylene and C3-C12Cycloalkylene radical, wherein C2-C12Alkylene and C3-C12The cycloalkylene group may be unsubstituted or substituted with one or more OC1-C4Alkyl substituted and wherein C3-C12Cycloalkylene groups may be unsubstituted or carry 1 to 3 methyl groups,

X1selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, methyl and ethyl, and combinations of at least two of the foregoing,

n is in the range of 1 to 4,

(b) a polyoxyalkylene chain.

11. The polymer as claimed in claim 10, having an average molecular weight M in the range from 1,000-80,000g/molw

12. A polymer according to claim 10 or 11, wherein all Z are selected from cyclohexylene and cyclopentylene, each unsubstituted or substituted by 1-2 methyl or methoxy groups.

13. The polymer according to any one of claims 10 to 12, wherein Z is selected from the group consisting of:

14. a process for the preparation of a polymer according to any one of claims 10 to 13, comprising the steps of:

(α) reaction of a compound of the formula H2-N-Z-NH2With an alkylene oxide selected from the group consisting of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide in a molar ratio of alkylene oxide to diamine of from 4:1 to 1:1, thereby forming an intermediate,

(β) subjecting the intermediate from step (α) to polycondensation under the catalysis of at least one acidic catalyst, thereby obtaining a polycondensate,

(gamma) reacting the polycondensate from step (beta) with at least one C2-C4The alkylene oxides are reacted in one or more steps.

15. A method for improving the cleaning performance of a liquid detergent composition by adding a polymer (a) according to any of claims 10 to 13 to the detergent composition, preferably comprising at least one lipase (B) and/or at least one protease (D).
