6. The needle of claim 5 wherein said needle identification ring is mounted in an annular recess formed between a proximal end surface of said needle hub and a distal end surface of said shroud.

7. The needle of claim 6 wherein said needle identification ring is made of an elastomeric material and is resiliently snap-fitted into said annular groove.

8. The puncture needle according to claim 1, wherein the distal end outer periphery of the operating handle is further provided with a needle tip indicator facing the direction of the slope of the needle tip.

9. The puncture needle according to claim 1, wherein the operating handle is further provided with a non-slip strip and a limiting lug.

10. A puncture needle according to claim 1, wherein a graduated scale is provided on the outer periphery of the needle tube.

Technical Field

The present application relates to surgical instruments and, more particularly, to a needle for puncturing under X-ray or ultrasound image guidance.

Background

The needle handle assembly of the puncture needle on the market at present has various connection modes, and is mainly in an integrated injection molding or gluing mode, wherein the gluing mode inevitably has the defects of assembly positioning deflection, glue overflow, glue deficiency, air bubbles and the like in the gluing mode. Detailed Description

In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present application more apparent, the present application is described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the present application and are not intended to limit the present application. Also, the embodiments and features of the embodiments in the present application may be combined with each other without conflict.

Figures 2 and 3 show an overall and exploded view, respectively, of a needle 10 according to one embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the puncture needle 10 is mainly composed of a needle tube 11 and a needle shaft 12. The needle tube 11 is made of metal, preferably stainless steel. The distal end of needle cannula 11 is provided with needle tip 111, the angle of needle tip 111 to the horizontal plane preferably being less than 45 °. The needle tube 11 is marked with a graduated scale 112 on the periphery, the graduated scale 112 can be divided at intervals of 0.5-1 cm, and 5cm times of graduated lines are obviously different from other graduated lines, so that the puncture depth can be conveniently observed during puncture positioning. In particular, the graduated scale 112 may be affixed to the needle tube 11 by laser marking, ink, coating, or the like. The proximal end of the needle tube 11 is fixedly connected with the needle handle 12. The needle handle 12 is further comprised of a needle hub 121, an operating handle 122, and a needle identification ring 123. The distal end of the needle tube joint 121 is fixedly connected with the proximal end of the needle tube 11, the proximal end of the needle tube joint 121 is fixedly connected with the distal end of the operating handle 122, and a needle-shaped identification ring 123 is annularly arranged at the joint of the two. The needle identification ring 123 is preferably made of an elastomeric material that resiliently snaps into an annular recess 1216 (shown in FIG. 6) formed in the outer periphery of the junction of the proximal end of the needle hub 121 and the distal end of the lever 122. According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, the needle-shaped identification ring 123 may be formed by injection molding of plastic material and then fitted to the joint between the needle hub 121 and the operation handle 122, or by multi-material injection molding with the needle hub 121 and/or the operation handle 122. The needle type identification ring 123 can have different colors, each of which represents the nominal outer diameter (needle type) of the needle tube 11 of the puncture needle 10, and not only can the needle type of the puncture needle 10 be quickly identified through the color, but also the joint of the needle tube connector 121 and the operating handle 122 can be covered, and the product is beautiful. The operating handle 122 is further provided with an anti-slip strip 124 and a limiting lug 125, the anti-slip strip 124 plays an anti-slip role when used by an operator, and the limiting lug 125 is used for standardizing the holding position of the operator.

As shown in fig. 4-7, the distal end of the needle hub 121 is provided with a cylindrical section 1211 for receiving the needle cannula 11. The proximal end of the needle hub 121 is fixedly attached to the distal end of the handle 122 by gluing and forms an annular groove 1216 around the circumference of the joint for mounting the needle identification ring 123. Referring to fig. 4, an annular rubber storage ring 1212 is protruded from a proximal end surface of the needle tube connector 121, and a rubber injection port 1213 penetrating through an outer circumferential surface 1212a and an inner circumferential surface 1212b of the rubber storage ring 1212 is further formed in the rubber storage ring 1212. The proximal end of the needle hub 121 further forms a positioning step 1214 in the rubber ring 1212, and a positioning protrusion 1215 is protruded radially inward from the positioning step 1214, and the positioning protrusion 1215 may be located right opposite to the rubber injection hole 1213. Correspondingly, as shown in fig. 5, an engaging column 1223 is protruded from the distal end surface of the operating handle 122, and the diameter of the engaging column 1223 is smaller than the inner diameter of the rubber storage ring 1212 on the needle hub 121. The mating posts 1223 are inserted concentrically with the rubber ring 1212, so that a rubber space 1226 (see fig. 7) is formed between the outer circumferential surface 1223a of the mating posts 1223 and the inner circumferential surface 1212b of the rubber ring 1212. The distal end surface of the engagement post 1223 forms a positioning surface 1224 that abuts a positioning step 1214 in the rubber storage ring 1212. The periphery of the mating post 1223 further defines a positioning groove 1225 extending from the positioning surface 1224 to the proximal end corresponding to the positioning protrusion 1215 in the rubber storage ring 1212, and when the mating post 1223 is inserted into the rubber storage ring 1212 so that the positioning surface 1224 abuts against the positioning step 1214, the positioning protrusion 1215 is inserted into the positioning groove 1225 to ensure that the mating post 1223 and the rubber storage ring 1212 are concentrically inserted and the rotation between the two is limited. Meanwhile, a venting groove 1227 is also formed between the positioning projection 1215 and the positioning groove 1225. According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, the positioning protrusions and the positioning grooves can be interchanged to achieve a position-limiting fit, so as to ensure that the engagement posts 1223 and the rubber ring 1212 are inserted concentrically and are restricted from rotating. Other suitable limiting structures may be disposed between the engagement post 1223 and the positioning step 1214 to ensure that the engagement post and the rubber ring are concentrically inserted and prevent the engagement post and the rubber ring from rotating, such as a positioning post and a positioning hole, which are engaged with each other. As further shown in fig. 5, the distal end of the handle 122 is concentrically surrounded by a cap 1222 outside the engagement post 1223 so that the engagement post 1223 is inserted into the rubber storage ring 1212 while the proximal end of the rubber storage ring 1212 is inserted into the space between the engagement post 1223 and the cap 1222 to improve the aesthetics of the engagement between the needle hub 121 and the handle 122 while ensuring the concentric connection between the needle hub 121 and the handle 122. At the same time, an annular recess 1216 is formed between the proximal end surface of the needle hub 121 and the distal end surface of the shield 1222 for receiving the needle type identification ring 123. Referring further to fig. 5 and 2, the distal end of the operating handle 123 is further provided with a needle tip indicator 1221 on the outer circumference thereof for indicating the direction of the bevel of the needle tip 111 of the needle tube 11, i.e. after the needle tube joint 121 is connected to the operating handle 122, the bevel of the needle tip 111 of the needle tube 11 mounted on the needle tube joint 121 is directed toward the needle tip indicator 1221. In the preferred embodiment, the glue injection opening 1213 is also opposite to the needle point indication mark 1221, which facilitates assembly and connection.

Referring further to fig. 6 and 7, when the proximal end of the needle tube connector 121 is connected to the distal end of the operating handle 122, the engaging post 1223 at the distal end of the operating handle 122 is first inserted into the rubber storage ring 1212 at the proximal end of the needle tube connector 121, the positioning protrusion 1215 is inserted into the positioning slot 1225, and the positioning surface 1224 of the engaging post 1223 abuts against the positioning step 1214 in the rubber storage ring 1212, so that a rubber storage space 1226 is formed between the outer circumferential surface 1223a of the engaging post 1223 and the inner circumferential surface 1212b of the rubber storage ring 1212. Then, glue is injected into the glue storage space 1226 from the glue injection port 1213 on the glue storage ring 1212, so that the proximal end of the needle tube connector 121 and the distal end of the operating handle 122 can be glued and fixed, and the air discharge slot 1227 formed between the positioning projection 1215 and the positioning slot 1225 is located at the opposite side of the glue injection port 1213, so that the glue can be discharged after flowing, and the gluing is more secure. The needle type identification ring 123 is fitted into an annular groove 1216 formed in the outer periphery of the rubber storage ring 1212 after the needle hub 121 and the operation handle 122 are glued together. The needle type identification ring 123 is preferably made of an elastic material, the inner diameter of the needle type identification ring can be smaller than the outer diameter of the bottom surface of the annular groove 1216, the needle type identification ring is elastically installed in the annular groove 1216 through the material, the needle type of the puncture needle 10 can be rapidly identified through colors, and meanwhile, the glue injection port 1213 or the glue defect can be covered, so that the product is attractive.
