Technical Field

The invention relates to a composite material pallet with a slider (Kufe).

Background

Trays with handles made of synthetic material are known, for example, from US2017297765a 1. Therein, a tray is described having a plurality of feet and a plurality of handles that can be grasped from the underside of the tray. The handle includes a continuous aperture having a side wall and an access opening extending perpendicular to the upper face of the tray and parallel to the shorter side of the tray. The handles are located on the outside of the middle of the tray and the outside of the feet.

Furthermore, EP2877408 describes a tray with four feet, an upper side and a lower side, wherein the upper side has a hand access opening in the center, which hand access opening extends parallel to the shorter sides of the tray. Thereby, it is possible to grasp into the hole from the upper side and hold the tray. The trays are stackable in such a way that the feet have openings and the foot of a first tray fits into the opening of the foot of a second tray stacked thereon.

Furthermore, trays with handles on the circumferential sides of the tray or in the lateral regions of the surface of the tray are known from US7856932, EP2067709 or WO 0078620. Trays with handles in the lateral regions or on the circumferential sides of the tray have the disadvantage that such trays usually have to be held with two hands.

Disclosure of Invention

It is an object of the invention to provide a composite material tray with a slide which allows an optimized simple hand operation for one-handed transport and a clean upper side of the tray to be held against the body.

This object is achieved by a composite material tray having a lower side and an upper side provided with a slide, wherein the slide extends along a middle portion of the composite material tray, and wherein the slide has a handle along the middle portion of the tray, which handle can be gripped from the lower side of the tray. The slides along the middle of the synthetic material tray are also referred to as middle slides, regardless of how many slides the tray has. Preferably, the synthetic material tray has three slides, preferably three longitudinal slides. The synthetic material tray may also have two slides and three feet, or the synthetic material tray has three transverse slides, or more than three slides, for example five slides.

Preferably, the central or intermediate handle of the central slide is arranged, relative to the length and width of the pallet, preferably along the central longitudinal axis of the central slide. Particularly preferably, the handle is arranged at the geometric midpoint of the tray, as close as possible to the center of gravity of the tray or at the center of gravity of the tray. Thus, even a heavy pallet weighing 20 kg or more can be held with one hand.

However, the height-dependent arrangement of the handle in the middle slide with the upper side of the tray and the lower side of the slide is variable. Preferably, the handle is arranged on the underside of the central slide as close as possible to the ground-engaging surface. This makes it possible to access the handle as simply and ergonomically as possible from the underside of the tray.

The term "grippable from the underside" is to be understood as meaning that the handle of the tray can be gripped from below or from the side of the tray. In contrast, the handle cannot be grasped from the upper side of the tray.

The handle is preferably of elongate configuration. The orientation of the handle ideally extends parallel to the upper side, preferably along the central longitudinal axis of the central slider. In this embodiment, a cavity for a finger is provided between the handle and the upper side of the synthetic material tray. Preferably, the opening to the cavity is arranged in the lower face of the middle slide in the region of the face engaging the ground.

In another embodiment, the lower face of the middle slide is continuous and the handle is arranged parallel to the upper side of the tray and on a plane between the lower side of the middle slide and the upper side of the tray. In this embodiment, the opening to the cavity for the finger is preferably located in the side wall of the middle slide.

In a further embodiment, the handle is arranged perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the middle slide and perpendicular to the face of the upper side of the tray. In this embodiment, the opening to the cavity for the finger is also preferably located in the side wall of the middle slide.

The opening in the side wall of the middle slide allows gripping the handle from the side of the tray, possibly through an additional opening in the outer slide, which can remove the tray laterally from the stack. The side of the tray also counts as the underside.

The elongate handle preferably has a substantially rectangular, square, U-shaped or triangular cross-section with preferably slightly rounded corners. A high gripping comfort for the hand is achieved by the slightly rounded corners. The elongate handle can also have a circular or oval cross section and be configured, for example, as a cylinder. In another embodiment, the handle has a circular or elliptical shape, for example in the form of a sphere, a knob or an ellipsoid.

The upper side of the synthetic material pallet preferably has a continuously closed face. This is possible because the handle is located within the slide on the underside of the tray. The closed face of the upper side can be provided with a substantially smooth upper side so that the tray can be easily cleaned and does not provide an additional piece for dirt or bacteria, so that the tray is also suitable for use in the area of toilets and clean rooms.

The synthetic material pallet is made of a durable and load-bearing material, preferably one or more thermoplastic synthetic materials. For example, the thermoplastic material comprises polyethylene or polypropylene or a mixture of both. Furthermore, the composite material pallet can have reinforcements of various profiles, for example with steel profiles, in particular steel pipes. Reinforcing elements for reinforcing the composite material pallet and for increasing the load-bearing capacity can be arranged at will. For example, the stiffening tubes may be arranged along the sides of the tray, along the slides of the tray, or along all four sides.

The synthetic material pallet according to the invention has the great advantage that the flat upper side rests against the body when held by the handle on the lower side. The upper side is generally cleaner than the lower side with the slide. This is more advantageous corresponding to a tray having a handle on the upper side of the tray, in which the edge of the tray or the soiled underside is pressed against the body by the foot or the slider when being held, which is inconvenient and requires a greater force. In contrast, the handling of the synthetic material pallet according to the invention is comfortable and requires only a small force due to the handle on the underside. The position of the handle in the middle slide enables the tray to be held with only one hand. With this particular arrangement of the handle, even a small person can hold the tray.

Another advantage of the present invention is that the handle is disposed near or at the center of gravity of the tray, which also simplifies the handling of the tray.

In another embodiment, there is the advantage that the handle can be grasped from one side of the tray through an opening in the side wall of the central slide and the tray can be removed laterally from the stack.

Combinations of two or more of the above-described embodiments and variations are contemplated and claimed.

Detailed Description

Fig. 1 shows a composite material pallet 1 with three slides 2, 2 'on the underside 7 and on the upper side 4 of the pallet 1, wherein the central slide 2' has a handle 3. Furthermore, in the middle slide 2 ', a cavity 5 is provided between the handle 3 and the upper face 4 and between the handle 3 and a side wall 8 of the middle slide 2'. These spaces provide sufficient space to grasp the handle with a hand or fingers or to completely encircle the handle depending on the position of the hand.

The handle 3 is configured in an elongated manner with slightly rounded edges and is arranged on the underside of the central slider 2'. The handle 3 is oriented parallel to the upper side and extends along the central longitudinal axis of the central slider 2'. Furthermore, the handle 3, which is centered in the middle slide, is arranged at the geometric midpoint of the pallet and as close as possible to the centre of gravity of the pallet, close to the interface of the slide with the ground. This arrangement makes it possible to reach the handle as simply as possible and to easily grip the handle from the underside 7 of the tray 1.

The underside 7 of the plastic pallet 1 has a rib structure 6 with cavities in order to achieve mechanical stability and a greater weight reduction.

Fig. 2A shows a composite material pallet 1 as described in fig. 1 from another perspective and having a further rib structure 6 on the underside 7.

Fig. 2B shows a detail of fig. 2A, comprising a handle 3 and a cavity 5 between the handle 3 and a side wall 8 of the middle slide 2' at the side of the handle 3, and the cavity 5 is between the handle 3 and the upper side 4 (not shown) of the tray 1.

Fig. 3 shows a composite material pallet as introduced in fig. 2A in a further perspective view.

Fig. 4 shows a perspective view with three slides 2, 2' on the upper side 4 of the composite material pallet 1. The upper side 4 has a closed face.

Fig. 5 shows the upper side 4 of the synthetic material pallet 1 shown in fig. 4 with a closed side. Further, the longitudinal axis is drawn along line A-A and the transverse axis is drawn along line B-B.

In fig. 6 a cross section through the central longitudinal axis a-a of the middle slide 2' of the composite material tray 1 of fig. 5 can be seen. An elongated handle 3 is arranged on the underside 7 of the pallet 1 along the central longitudinal axis a-a in the middle of the middle slide 2'. The cross-section shows a cavity 5 between the handle 3 and the upper side 4 of the tray 1. Furthermore, the rib structures 6 and the cavities between them can be seen.

Fig. 7 shows a cross section through the central longitudinal axis a-a of the pallet 1 of fig. 5 as introduced in fig. 6 in a perspective view. In addition to fig. 6, the outer slide 2 can also be seen here next to the middle slide 2'.

Fig. 8 shows a cross section through the middle transverse axis B-B of the tray 1 of fig. 5 in a perspective view. The handle 3 in the middle of the middle slide 2' has a U-shaped cross-section with a downward U-shaped opening. The two outer slides 2 and the cavity 5 between the handle 3 and the side wall 8 of the middle slide 2' and between the handle 3 and the upper side 4 of the tray 1 are also shown. These cavities 5 provide sufficient space to grasp the handle in an ergonomic manner.

Fig. 9 shows a bottom view of the underside 7 of the synthetic material tray 1 with the two outer slides 2 and the middle slide 2', the elongate handle 3 and the rib structure 6 of the tray 1. The orientation of the elongated handle 3 along the central longitudinal axis of the central slider 2' can be seen.

Two further variants of the handles 3', 3 "are shown in fig. 10 and 11. The handles 3 ', 3 "have a cylindrical shape and are arranged in the central part of the middle slide 2'.

In fig. 10, the elongated handle 3 'is arranged parallel to the surface 4 in the direction of the central slide 2' along the central longitudinal axis. Furthermore, a cylindrical handle 3 'is arranged on the plane between the upper side 4 of the tray and the lower side of the slide 2, and the lower face of the lower side of the middle slide 2' is continuous. To facilitate access to the handle 3 ', an opening to the cavity 5 is provided for the fingers in the side wall of the middle slide 2'. In this variant, the handle 3' can be grasped by the slides 2, 2 from the side of the underside of the tray 1, which makes it possible to remove the tray 1 from the stack on the side.

In fig. 11, the elongated handle 3 "is arranged perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the middle slide 2 'and perpendicular to the upper side 4 of the tray 1, the cylindrical handle 3' is arranged between the upper side 4 of the tray 1 and the lower side of the slide 2 ', and the lower face of the lower side of the middle slide 2' is coherent. However, the handle 3 "is also here situated in the geometric middle as close as possible to the center of gravity of the tray 1 or at the center of gravity of the tray 1. In the side wall of the middle slide 2 'an opening to the cavity 5' is provided for a finger in order to reach the handle 3 ". In this variant, the slide 2, 2' can also grip the handle 3 ″ from the side of the underside of the tray 1, which makes it possible to remove the tray 1 from the stack on the side.

Fig. 12 shows a further variant of a composite material pallet 1 with three slides 2, 2 ', the middle slide 2 ' having openings for fingers to two cavities 5 along the middle of the middle slide 2 '. The central slide 2 'has two symmetrically arranged handles 3 in the region of the opening and on the underside along the two longitudinal sides of the central slide 2'. The opening and the cavity 5 make two symmetrical handles 3 possible.

The cavity 5 for the finger extends parallel to the underside of the middle slide 2 ' and is configured at a distance from the underside of the middle slide 2 ' towards the side wall 8 of the middle slide 2 '. The side wall 8 is closed in the central region of the central slide 2'. This variant is particularly suitable for persons of small size who can be gripped by fingers from the middle of the middle slider 2 'towards the side wall 8 of the middle slider 2'.
