The invention provides a gutta-percha point.

Referring to fig. 1 and 2, the present invention provides a gutta-percha point 10, wherein the gutta-percha point 10 includes a closed section 11 and a filling section 12 connected to the closed section 11, the closed section 11 includes, in parts by weight, gutta-percha a1 parts and a filler B1 parts, and the filling section 12 includes gutta-percha a2 parts and a filler B2 parts, wherein a1 is less than a2, and B1 is greater than B2.

In particular, the closing section 11 is arranged in a cone shape, such as a cone shape, so that the closing section 11 is adapted to the shape of the root canal cavity, so that the closing section 11 can be tightly fitted to the root canal cavity, thereby filling the root canal well. In general, to avoid irritation or damage to the apical tissue of the tooth by the closed section 11, the head of the closed section 11 is of a bulb-shaped configuration. The filling section 12 is connected with the tail part of the closed section 11, the outer diameter of the filling section 12 is larger than that of the closed section 11, the filling section 12 is used for extending into the root canal, and the redundant part of the filling section 12 is fused to ensure that the whole gutta-percha point 10 is completely inserted into the root canal. Optionally, the shape of the filling segment 12 is adapted to the shape of the root canal so that the filling segment 12 tightly fills the root canal. The filling section 12 may be cylindrical or truncated cone shaped.

In the prior art, the gutta-percha point 10 is generally designed in an integrated manner, that is, the components and the proportion of the closed section 11 and the filling section 12 of the gutta-percha point 10 are completely the same, although the processing technology is simpler, the requirements of high hardness of the closed section 11 and thermoplasticity of the filling section 12 need to be considered at the same time, a compromise method is often needed, so that the hardness of the closed section 11 of the gutta-percha point 10 cannot reach an optimal value, and the thermoplasticity of the filling section 12 of the gutta-percha point 10 cannot reach the optimal value, so that the overall using effect of the gutta-percha point 10 is influenced. The gutta-percha point 10 of the present invention is designed in a sectional manner, that is, the closed section 11 and the filling section 12 include gutta-percha and a filler having different specific gravities, and of course, the closed section 11 and the filling section 12 may include different material components. So, make the closed section 11 with fill the performance of section 12 and be different, the closed tube has higher hardness, is convenient for insert gutta-percha point 10 in the root canal cavity, fill section 12 has better thermoplasticity, also fill section 12 has lower fusing temperature to the unnecessary part of filling section 12 is sheared, thereby makes gutta-percha point 10 can exert the advantage of each section of closed section 11 with filling section 12 better, and then has promoted the whole result of use of gutta-percha point 10.

It will be appreciated that the closed section 11 contains a higher amount of filler than the filled section 12, and that the closed section 11 contains a lower amount of gutta percha than the filled section 12. The content of the filler is positively correlated with the hardness of the material, so that the high content of the filler can enable the closed section 11 to obtain higher hardness, but the thermoplastic property of the material can be seriously affected by adding a large amount of the filler, so that the filling section 12 can obtain better thermoplastic property by adopting the high content of the gutta percha, and the advantages of the closed section 11 and the filling section 12 can be furthest exerted by adopting a sectional design. Wherein, gutta-percha is also called natural gutta-percha, the main component of which is trans-1, 4-polyisoprene, and has better elasticity and thermoplasticity. The filler is an inorganic filler, the inorganic filler can specifically comprise zinc oxide, and the particle size range of the zinc oxide is 100 nm-400 nm. Of course, for better visualization, the filler also includes barium sulfate.

The gutta-percha point 10 comprises a closed section 11 and a filling section 12 connected with the closed section 11, wherein the closed section 11 comprises, by weight, gutta-percha A1 parts and a filling agent B1 parts, and the filling section 12 comprises the gutta-percha A2 parts and the filling agent B2 parts, wherein A1 is smaller than A2, and B1 is larger than B2. Thus, the gutta-percha point 10 of the present invention adopts a sectional design, so that the content of the filler contained in the closed section 11 is higher than the content of the filler contained in the filling section 12 (B1 is higher than B2), that is, the content of the filler is increased in the closed section 11, so that the closed section 11 has higher hardness, and the gutta-percha point 10 is easy to place in the root canal, and is easy to operate and seal; meanwhile, the content of the gutta-percha contained in the closed section 11 is lower than that contained in the filling section 12 (A1 is lower than A2), that is, the filling section 12 increases the content of the gutta-percha, and the melting temperature of the filling section 12 can be reduced due to the increase of the content of the gutta-percha, so that the thermoplasticity of the filling section 12 is improved, and the filling section 12 is easy to cut. Therefore, the closed section 11 and the filling section 12 of the gutta-percha point 10 can fully exert respective advantages, and the overall using effect of the gutta-percha point 10 is improved.

Referring to fig. 1, in an embodiment, the length of the closing section 11 is a, and the length of the filling section 12 is b, where a/b is greater than or equal to 0.2 and less than or equal to 0.4. In this way, the insertion of the closed segment 11 into the root canal is facilitated, while the entire length of the gutta-percha point 10 is made longer, facilitating the external manipulation of the doctor.

Optionally, the length of the closing section 11 is 2mm to 5mm, and the length of the filling section 12 is 10mm to 25 mm. In the present embodiment, the length of the closed section 11 in the axial direction of the gutta-percha point 10 may be specifically 2mm, 2.1mm, 2.2mm, 2.3mm, 2.4mm, 2.5mm, 2.6mm, 2.8mm, 3mm, 3.5mm, 3.7mm, 4mm, 4.5mm, 5mm, or the like. By making the length of the closed section 11 in the axial direction of the gutta-percha point 10 greater than or equal to 2mm and less than or equal to 5mm, the insertion of the closed section 11 into the root canal is facilitated. The length of the filling section 12 in the axial direction of the gutta percha point 10 may be, specifically, 10mm, 10.5mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm, 15.5mm, 16mm, 18mm, 19mm, 20mm, 22mm, 25mm, or the like. By making the length of the filling segment 12 along the axial direction of the gutta-percha point 10 greater than or equal to 10mm and less than or equal to 25mm, on one hand, the treatment requirement of the root canal is met, and on the other hand, the whole length of the gutta-percha point 10 is longer, thereby being convenient for the external operation of a doctor.

Without loss of generality, referring to fig. 1, the gutta-percha point 10 further comprises an operating section 13, the operating section 13 is connected with one end of the filling section 12 far away from the closing section 11, and the operating section 13 has two opposite flat surfaces. In this embodiment, the material of the operation section 13 may be the same as or different from the material of the closing section 11 and the filling section, and is not limited herein. Through making operation section 13 have two relative flats, then operation section 13 is whole to be the platykurtic setting, compares in the columniform structure, increases the area of contact of operation section 13 and tweezers, and then the doctor of being convenient for centre gripping this operation section 13. The transverse dimension of the operating section 13 may be greater than or equal to the outer diameter of the filling section 12, but of course, the transverse dimension of the operating section 13 may also be made smaller than the outer diameter of the filling section 12. In order to facilitate the holding of the handling section 13 by the physician, the handling section 13 may optionally have a transverse dimension which is larger than the outer diameter of the filling section 12. In this way, the area of the operation section 13 can be increased, and it is easier for the doctor to hold the operation section 13. In other embodiments, the operating section 13 may also be provided with color markings. Different gutta-percha points 10 are made to have different color marks so that the doctor can distinguish the specifications of the gutta-percha points 10 according to the color marks, thereby facilitating the classification and selection of the gutta-percha points 10 of different specifications.

The components and proportions of the sections of the gutta percha point 10 will now be described in detail.

In the embodiment of the present invention, the weight part B1 of the filler contained in the closing segment 11 is 50 to 80, and the weight part B2 of the filler contained in the filling segment 12 is 45 to 75. The weight portion A1 of the gutta-percha contained in the closed section 11 is 20-50, and the weight portion A2 of the gutta-percha contained in the filling section 12 is 25-55. The closed section 11 can be endowed with higher hardness by enabling the closed section 11 to contain a high proportion of filler and a low proportion of gutta-percha, and the filling section 12 contains a high proportion of gutta-percha and a low proportion of filler, so that the fusing temperature of the filling section 12 can be reduced, and the thermoplasticity of the filling section 12 is improved.

Optionally, the ratio of the parts by weight of the gutta percha contained in the filling segment 12 to the parts by weight of the gutta percha contained in the closing segment 11 is 1.25 to 2. Therefore, the filling section 12 has good thermoplasticity, and the filling section 12 has certain hardness, so that the use requirement of the filling section 12 is met. The ratio of the weight part of the filler contained in the closing section 11 to the weight part of the filler contained in the filling section 12 is 1.05 to 1.33. Therefore, the closed section 11 has certain thermoplasticity while ensuring that the closed section 11 has high hardness, and the use requirement of the closed section 11 is met.

In one embodiment, the filling section 12 further comprises 5 to 25 parts by weight of boron nitride. Boron nitride is a white flake material and has anisotropy. Tests show that after a small amount of boron nitride is added, the heat conductivity of the gutta-percha point 10 is greatly improved, and the filling section 12 is convenient to melt quickly. Moreover, the addition of a small amount of boron nitride does not affect the thermoplasticity of the filler segment 12, and thus the fusing temperature of the filler segment 12 is not increased. Optionally, the mass ratio of the filler to the boron nitride is 2 to 8.

In order to make the gutta percha point 10 have antibacterial property, in an embodiment, the filling section 12 further includes 2 to 10 parts by weight of an antibacterial agent. Specifically, the antibacterial agent is at least one of nano silver, nano titanium dioxide and a cationic surfactant. Wherein the cationic surfactant is cetyl pyridinium chloride. Considering that the gutta-percha point 10 can generate volume shrinkage after being cooled, and possibly cause residual microorganisms and bacteria in the oral cavity in the root canal to enter the root canal for permanent planting again to cause postoperative infection, the antibacterial agent is added into the closed section 11 to endow the closed section 11 with certain antibacterial property, so that the postoperative infection can be effectively prevented. It is worth mentioning that by adding inorganic matters such as nano silver or nano titanium dioxide only in the closed section 11, on one hand, a certain antibacterial property can be given to the closed section 11, on the other hand, the hardness of the closed section 11 can be improved, and meanwhile, the thermoplastic deterioration caused by adding the inorganic matters in the filling section 12 is avoided.

TABLE 1 results of performance testing of the filling segment

TABLE 2 closed segment Performance test results

As can be seen from tables 1 and 2, in the gutta-percha point 10 prepared in examples 1 to 23 of the present application, the hardness of the filling segment 12 is lower than that of the closing segment 11, and the shear viscosity of the closing segment 11 is higher than that of the filling segment 12, i.e., the fluidity of the closing segment 11 is inferior to that of the filling segment 12, i.e., the thermoplastic of the closing segment 11 is inferior to that of the filling segment 12. In addition, the filling segments 12 of the gutta percha points 10 prepared in examples 24 to 27 of this application have better heat conductive properties than the gutta percha points 10 prepared in examples 1 to 23. As can be seen from table 1, the filling segment 12 of the gutta-percha point 10 prepared in examples 24 to 27 of the present application is not affected in its thermoplasticity, compared to the gutta-percha point 10 prepared in examples 1 to 23, and it is demonstrated that the addition of a small amount of boron nitride does not affect the thermoplasticity of the filling segment 12 while improving the thermal conductivity of the filling segment 12. It can be seen from table 1 that the filler blocks 12 prepared in examples 30 to 32 of the present application, to which a small amount of an antibacterial agent, particularly a cationic surfactant, is added, can impart excellent antibacterial properties to the filler blocks 12 on the one hand, and can effectively improve the thermoplasticity of the filler blocks 12 on the other hand. Analysis shows that the addition of the cationic surfactant enables the filler and the boron nitride to be uniformly distributed in the gutta percha, so that good compatibilization effect is achieved, and the thermoplasticity of the filling segment 12 can be improved.

The above description is only an alternative embodiment of the present invention, and not intended to limit the scope of the present invention, and all modifications and equivalents of the present invention, which are made by the contents of the present specification and the accompanying drawings, or directly/indirectly applied to other related technical fields, are included in the scope of the present invention.
