The battery 7 can be a dry battery or a storage battery, for convenience of carrying and battery replacement, in an alternative embodiment of the invention, the battery 7 is a dry battery, for convenience of connection of the battery 7, the electronic cigarette comprises a profile tube 11, a middle cover 12 and a bottom cover 13 arranged to enclose the dry battery, the profile tube 11, the middle cover 12 and the bottom cover 13 together enclose the battery 7 and enable the battery 7 to be connected with the suction nozzle assembly, the middle cover 12 is used for connecting the battery 7 with the suction nozzle assembly, when the battery 7 is a dry battery, a battery rod electrode 701 connected with an electrode 601 of the heating assembly 6 is equivalent to the positive electrode of the dry battery, and for connection of the electrode 601 with the dry battery, a spring electrode 14 is preferably arranged between the electrode 601 and the dry battery to ensure the stability of the structure for connection of the heating assembly 6 with the battery 7. The spring electrode 14 is inserted into the middle cap 12, and has one end connected to the electrode 601 and the other end connected to the battery stem electrode 701, i.e., the positive electrode of the dry cell. In order to fix the position of the spring electrode 14, it is further preferable that the middle cap 12 is provided with a trapezoidal groove recessed toward the battery, and the spring electrode is embedded in the engaged groove.
