1. A charged particle delivery system, characterized in that,

the disclosed device is provided with:

the stand is fixed on the base;

a 1 st plate coupled to an upper portion of the mount by a 1 st screw capable of adjusting a height;

a 2 nd plate movably accommodated in a horizontal plane of the 1 st plate;

a 2 nd screw screwed into a screw hole of a fixing member formed around the 1 st plate, and having a tip abutting against an outer peripheral surface of the 2 nd plate;

a 3 rd screw for fixing the 2 nd plate to the 1 st plate; and

and a 1 st engaging pin that engages with an engaging hole provided in each of the support member that supports the device through which the charged particles pass and the 2 nd plate to engage the support member and the plate.

2. The charged particle delivery system of claim 1,

the support member is composed of:

a plurality of 1 st support members for supporting the plurality of devices arranged in the horizontal direction; and

a 2 nd support member for supporting the plurality of 1 st support members;

the charged particle transport system includes a 2 nd engaging pin that is engaged with an engaging hole provided in each of the 1 st support member and the 2 nd support member to engage the same.

3. The charged particle transport system of claim 1 or 2,

at least one of the 1 st engaging pin and the 2 nd engaging pin has a circular cross section;

the engaging hole provided in one of the support member and the 2 nd plate is formed of a hole having a circular cross section and a hole having an elliptical cross section.

4. The charged particle transport system of any of claims 1 to 3,

the support member is engaged with each of the 2 nd plates divided into a plurality via the 1 st engaging pin;

each of the divided 2 nd plates is accommodated in each of the 1 st plates which are also divided;

the divided 1 st and 2 nd plates can be independently adjusted by the 1 st and 2 nd screws provided respectively.

5. The charged particle transport system of any of claims 1 to 4,

the upper part of the stand is formed to have the same height level as the base.

6. A method of installation of a charged particle transport system, comprising:

fixing the stand to the base;

a step of combining the 1 st plate with the upper part of the stand by the 1 st screw with adjustable height;

a step of movably accommodating a 2 nd plate to a horizontal surface of the 1 st plate;

screwing a 2 nd screw into a screw hole formed in a fixing member located around the 1 st plate so that a tip end of the 2 nd screw abuts against an outer peripheral surface of the 2 nd plate;

adjusting the 1 st screw and the 2 nd screw so that the light output from the optical position adjusting device is irradiated to the reference position on the 2 nd plate;

fixing the 2 nd plate to the 1 st plate by a 3 rd screw; and

and a step of engaging the 1 st engaging pin with a supporting member supporting a device through which charged particles pass and an engaging hole provided in each of the 2 nd plates.

Technical Field

Embodiments of the invention relate to a charged particle transport system and a method of installing the same.

Background

In the accelerator, a plurality of constituent devices such as a deflection electromagnet, a quadrupole electromagnet, and a screen monitor are provided along the trajectory in order to control the trajectory of the charged particles. Further, these constituent devices are required to be installed with high accuracy with respect to the charged particle trajectories. Therefore, when these component devices are installed, alignment (alignment) adjustment is performed for positioning with reference to a fixed point of the house. Various methods have been proposed for the alignment adjustment of these constituent devices.

For example, there are known documents disclosing the following techniques. An electromagnet as a weight is attached to a stand fixed to a base via an alignment block that can be adjusted in the horizontal direction and the height direction. Here, the electromagnet and the alignment block have specifications that are positioned with high accuracy by the guide pin. The alignment block is moved slightly in the horizontal direction and the height direction to adjust the alignment.

Disclosure of Invention

Problems to be solved by the invention

The positioning operation in the above-mentioned known document is emphasized as an advantage that the positioning block alone can be used before the electromagnet or the like as the weight is provided. This makes it impossible to avoid repetition of the alignment operation, but the operation procedure is such that an electromagnet or the like is provided after completion of the alignment adjustment, and therefore the operation load is reduced.

However, in order to ensure the effectiveness of such a positioning adjustment method, it is necessary to ensure a light weight and high rigidity of the positioning block. Further, it is necessary to be able to easily readjust the alignment even after the electromagnet is provided. However, since the alignment block disclosed in the above-mentioned known document is a heavy object having a complicated structure, it is difficult to complete the alignment operation of the charged particle transport system simply and in a short time.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a charged particle transport system capable of adjusting alignment simply and in a short time, and an installation method thereof.

Means for solving the problems

A charged particle transport system is provided with: the stand is fixed on the base; a 1 st plate coupled to an upper portion of the mount by a 1 st screw capable of adjusting a height; a 2 nd plate movably accommodated in a horizontal plane of the 1 st plate; a 2 nd screw screwed into a screw hole of a fixing member formed around the 1 st plate, and having a tip abutting against an outer peripheral surface of the 2 nd plate; a 3 rd screw for fixing the 2 nd plate to the 1 st plate; and a 1 st engaging pin that engages with and engages with a supporting member that supports a device through which charged particles pass and with an engaging hole provided in each of the 2 nd plate.

Effects of the invention

The present invention provides a charged particle transport system capable of adjusting alignment simply and in a short time, and an installation method thereof.

Detailed Description

(embodiment 1)

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 (a) is a Y-Z cross-sectional view showing a charged particle transport system 10a according to embodiment 1, fig. 1 (B) is an X-Y cross-sectional view showing a B-B cross-section of fig. 1 (a), and fig. 1 (C) is an X-Z cross-sectional view showing a C-C cross-section of fig. 1 (a).

As shown in fig. 1 (a), 1 (B), and 1 (C), the charged particle transport system 10a includes: a mount 16 fixed to the base 15; a 1 st plate 21 coupled to an upper portion of the mount 16 by a 1 st screw 11 having an adjustable height; a 2 nd plate 22 movably accommodated on a horizontal surface of the 1 st plate 21; a 2 nd screw 12 screwed into a screw hole of a fixing member 25 formed around the 1 st plate 21, and having a tip abutting against the outer peripheral surface of the 2 nd plate 22; a 3 rd screw 13 for fixing the 2 nd plate 22 to the 1 st plate 21; and a 1 st engaging pin 31 which engages with the engaging holes 17(17a, 17b) provided in the support member 27 and the 2 nd plate 22, respectively, which support the device 26 through which the charged particles pass, and engages the two.

The base 15 has a function of transmitting the load of the charged particle transport system 10a to the ground and safely supporting the charged particle transport system 10a, and is constructed by putting concrete in a warehouse. The gantry 16 is a structure for installing the charged particle transport system 10a as a weight on the base 15. In the figure, the mount 16 stacks H-shaped steel in mutually orthogonal directions and fastens the stacked H-shaped steel by bolts, and the lower portion is fixed to the base 15 by bolts.

However, the mount 16 is not particularly limited to such a configuration, and may take various forms. Further, the upper portion of the mount 16 may be formed to have the same height as the base 15 in structure, and the mount 16 and the base 15 may not be different in appearance.

The 1 st plate 21 has a flat surface on the upper side, and the 2 nd plate 22 is movably accommodated in the flat surface. The 1 st plate 21 is coupled to an upper portion of the stand 16 by a 1 st screw 11 having an adjustable height. Further, the 2 nd screw 12 is screwed to a fixing member 25 positioned around the 1 st plate 21. Further, an engaging hole 17(17a, 17b) into which the 1 st engaging pin 31 is fitted is provided on the upper surface of the 2 nd plate 22.

As shown in fig. 1 (D), the 1 st screw 11 is fixed by the 1 st nut 41 with one end of a shaft bolt 44 having no head screwed into the lower surface of the 1 st plate 21. Further, the 2 nd nut 42 for adjusting the height of the shaft bolt 44 in the Y direction is screwed in. In this state, the other end of the shaft bolt 44 is inserted into the hole of the 2 nd plate 22, and the 3 rd nut 43 is screwed and fixed. In this way, by adjusting the plurality of 1 st screws 11, the height adjustment and the tilt adjustment in the Y direction of the 1 st plate 21 are performed. In the case of readjustment, the 3 rd nut 43 is set in a loosened state, and only the 2 nd nut 42 is rotated.

The 2 nd screw 12 is screwed into a screw hole formed in the fixing member 25 located at the periphery of the 1 st plate 21. In fig. 1 (C), the fixing member 25 is provided at the four corners of the 1 st plate 21, but the fixing member 25 may be provided at any position without particular limitation. The 2 nd screw 12 is screwed into the fixing member 25, and the tip thereof abuts on the outer peripheral surface of the 2 nd plate 22, and the 2 nd plate 22 is independently adjusted in position in the X direction and the Z direction in the drawing. Thereby, the 2 nd plate 22 is relatively moved in the X-Z plane with respect to the 1 st plate 21.

By adjusting the 1 st screw 11 and the 2 nd screw 12 in this way, the positioning work can be performed before and after the installation of the support member 27 of the device 26. After the positioning operation is completed, the 3 rd nut 43 of the 1 st screw 11 is further tightened, the 3 rd screw 13 is inserted, and the 2 nd plate 22 is fixed to the 1 st plate 21.

Examples of the device 26 through which charged particles pass include, but are not limited to, a deflection electromagnet, a quadrupole electromagnet, and a screen monitor. These devices 26 are integrally assembled with the support member 27 in such a manner that the vacuum pipe 23 through which the charged particles pass penetrates the center of the orbit. These devices 26, vacuum ducts 23, and support members 27 are assembled at a place different from the installation place of the charged particle transport system 10a, and are transported to the installation place after being integrally assembled.

As shown in fig. 1C, the support member 27 and the 2 nd plate 22 are provided with engagement holes 17(17a, 17b) having aligned opening centers when they are superposed. Then, the 1 st engagement pin 31 is engaged with the 2 nd plate 22 by being fitted into the engagement holes 17(17a, 17 b).

The 1 st engagement pin 31 has a circular cross section. On the other hand, the engaging hole 17 provided in either one of the support member 27 and the 2 nd plate 22 is constituted by an engaging hole (reference numeral 17a) having a circular cross section and an engaging hole (reference numeral 17b) having an elliptical cross section. Although not shown, the engaging hole for engaging the 1 st engaging pin 31 with the engaging hole 17b having an elliptical cross section has a circular cross section. The cross-sections of all the engaging holes 17 are not limited to the above-described shapes, and may all have the same cross-section as the 1 st engaging pin 31.

Thus, the movement of the 2 nd plate 22 in both directions is restricted at the position of the engaging hole 17a having a circular cross section. Further, at the position of the engaging hole 17b having an elliptical cross section at the position apart from the engaging hole 17a, the movement of the 2 nd plate 22 in one direction is restricted. This enables the support member 27 of the equipment 26 as a heavy object to be lifted and moved to the 2 nd plate 22, and to be disposed without difficulty. Furthermore, the support member 27 of the device 26 disposed on the 2 nd plate 22 is positioned with high accuracy with respect to the 2 nd plate 22.

A method of installing the charged particle transport system according to embodiment 1 will be described with reference to fig. 2 (a) and 2 (B), fig. 3 (a), and 3 (B).

As shown in fig. 2 (a), the charged particle transport system is installed by fixing the gantry 16 to the base 15. The 1 st plate 21 is coupled to the upper portion of the mount 16 via the 1 st screw 11. At this stage, the 3 rd nut 43 (see fig. 1D) of the 1 st screw 11 is in an unfastened state. The 2 nd plate 22 is movably housed on the upper surface of the 1 st plate 21. Then, the 2 nd screw 12 is screwed into the screw hole of the fixing member 25 so that the tip abuts on the outer peripheral surface of the 2 nd plate 22.

Next, as shown in fig. 2 (B), an optical position adjusting device 35 is provided at a fixed point on the base 15 as a reference, and the light output from the optical position adjusting device 35 is irradiated toward a reference position 36 on the 2 nd plate 22. In addition to the case where a light receiving device for light is provided at the reference position 36, the reference line may be directly drawn on the 2 nd plate 22.

In a state where light is output from the optical position adjusting device 35, the height and inclination alignment in the Y direction is adjusted by the 1 st screw 11, and the alignment in the X-Z horizontal plane is adjusted by the 2 nd screw 12. After the adjustment of the alignment in all directions is completed, the 3 rd screw 13 is inserted to fix the 2 nd plate 22 to the 1 st plate 21.

In this way, in the embodiment, the alignment can be directly adjusted with respect to the 1 st plate 21 and the 2 nd plate 22. Therefore, the light output from the optical position adjusting device 35 fixed at one position is irradiated to the plurality of 1 st plates 21 arranged along the trajectory of the charged particles without being obstructed. This can reduce the movement of the optical position adjusting device 35 during the alignment operation.

Although the time sequence may be adjusted back and forth, as shown in fig. 3 (a), the device 26, the vacuum duct 23, and the support member 27 are assembled at a place different from the installation place of the charged particle transport system, and are integrally assembled and transported to the installation place.

Then, as shown in fig. 3 (B), the 1 st engagement pin 31 is engaged with the engagement hole 17 provided in the support member 27 of the device 26 and the engagement hole 17 provided in the 2 nd plate 22. Then, the support member 27 and the 2 nd plate 22 are fixed by bolts (not shown) so as not to be movable, and the installation work is ended. After the support member 27 of the device 26 is attached to the plates 21 and 22, the 3 rd screw 13 and the 3 rd nut 43 can be loosened, and the 1 st screw 11 and the 2 nd screw 12 can be readjusted to perform the positioning operation.

(embodiment 2)

Fig. 4 (a), 4 (B), and 4 (C) are cross-sectional views of the charged particle transport system 10B according to embodiment 2. In fig. 4, portions having the same configurations and functions as those in fig. 1 to 3 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant description thereof is omitted.

In the charged particle transporting system 10b according to embodiment 2, the supporting members 27(27a, 27b) are composed of a plurality of 1 st supporting members 27a that support the plurality of devices 26 arranged in the horizontal direction, and a 2 nd supporting member 27b that supports the plurality of 1 st supporting members 27 a. Further, the second engaging pin 32 is provided to be engaged with the engaging hole 17 provided in each of the 1 st support member 27a and the 2 nd support member 27 b.

With such a configuration, as shown in fig. 4 (a), the plurality of devices 26, the plurality of 1 st support members 27a, and the 2 nd support members 27b can be assembled at a place different from the installation place of the charged particle transport system. As shown in fig. 4 (B), the sheet can be conveyed after being integrally assembled, and as shown in fig. 4 (C), the sheet is set to the 2 nd plate 22 at the installation site.

(embodiment 3)

Next, embodiment 3 of the present invention will be described with reference to fig. 5. Fig. 5 (a) is a Y-Z sectional view showing the charged particle transport system 10c according to embodiment 3, and fig. 5 (B) is an X-Z sectional view showing a B-B section of fig. 5 (a). In fig. 5, portions having the same configurations and functions as those in fig. 1 to 4 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant description thereof is omitted.

In the charged particle transport system 10c according to embodiment 3, the support member 27 is engaged with each of the 2 nd plates 22a and 22b divided into a plurality via the 1 st engagement pin 31. The divided 2 nd plates 22a and 22b are housed in the divided 1 st plates 21a and 21 b. The divided 1 st plates 21a and 21b and 2 nd plates 22a and 22b can be independently adjusted by the 1 st screws 11 and 2 nd screws 12 provided respectively.

Fig. 6 is an overall view of a synchrotron 50 to which the charged particle transport system 10(10a, 10b, 10c) according to each embodiment is applied. The synchrotron accelerator 50 is composed of a circular accelerator 51 that accelerates charged particles with a circular orbit, a transport line 52 that takes out and transports the accelerated charged particles from the circular accelerator 51, and an irradiation chamber 53 that irradiates the transported charged particles to a target (not shown).

The circular accelerator 51 includes at least: an acceleration cavity 46 for accelerating the charged particles by the action of the high-frequency electric field; and a deflection electromagnet 45 for causing the charged particles to ride on the circular orbit by the action of the DC magnetic field. The transport line 52 includes at least a quadrupole electromagnet 47 for converging charged particles to be diffused.

The deflection electromagnet 45, the acceleration cavity 46, the quadrupole electromagnet 47, the vacuum duct 23, and the other devices 26 (fig. 1 and 4) constitute the charged particle transport system 10, and are fixedly supported by the base 15 (fig. 1 and 4). In the embodiment, the charged particle transport system 10 is applied to the synchrotron 50, but may be applied only to one of the circular accelerator 51 and the transport line 52.

According to the charged particle transport system of at least one embodiment described above, the alignment of the charged particle transport system can be adjusted easily and in a short time by fixing the device to the 2 nd plate 22, which is adjusted in position in the horizontal direction, via the engaging pin 31, and further fixing the 1 st plate 21, which is adjusted in the height direction and in the inclination, to the mount 16.

Several embodiments of the present invention have been described, but these embodiments are presented as examples and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention. These embodiments may be implemented in other various forms, and various omissions, substitutions, and changes may be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. These embodiments and modifications thereof are included in the scope and gist of the invention, and are included in the invention described in the claims and the equivalent scope thereof.
