The motor is a servo motor. The controller controls the rotation angle of the servo motor, which is helpful for accurately controlling the distance of the rack 51 pushing the straight material 6.

The straight material feeder further comprises a travel switch and a controller, the travel switch is installed on the motor installation plate, a limiting block 52 is installed at the position, corresponding to the travel switch, of one end of the rack 51, and the controller is electrically connected with the motor, the travel switch and the proximity switch 2.

The working principle or the using process of the straight material feeder is as follows:

a plurality of straight materials 6 are placed side by side on the support panel 10 and the cold heading machine and the straight material feeder are started. The controller controls the servo motor to rotate positively, the servo motor drives the rack 51 to slide towards the direction close to the cold header through the gear, the material pushing block 50 moves along the rack 51, the straight material 6 with the minimum height is pushed to the cold header in the moving process, after one end of the straight material 6 is pressed by the feeding pinch roller on the cold header, the feeding pinch roller can complete the later feeding work, so the straight material feeder does not need to continuously push the straight material 6, at the moment, the controller controls the servo motor to rotate reversely, the rack 51 resets, and when the limit block 52 triggers the travel switch, the servo motor is closed.

After the straight material 6 with the minimum elevation leaves the supporting panel 10, other straight materials 6 slide downwards along the supporting panel 10 under the action of gravity, and automatic material position supplement is carried out. In the process of automatic position supplement of the straight material 6, the proximity switch 2 is not triggered by the straight material 6 for a period of time, when the proximity switch 2 is triggered by the straight material 6 again, the servo motor starts to rotate forwards, and the feeding process is repeated.
