Background

From analysis of the growth trend of the population in China for a long time, the development speed of agricultural production technology, the land condition and the like, the conventional feed resources in China can not meet the development requirements of animal husbandry.

Most of the unconventional feeds for crops have low nutritional quality and high crude fiber, and belong to coarse feeds; however, the resources can be added into daily ration of livestock and poultry through development and processing, so that the conventional feed is saved, the production of animal husbandry is promoted, and therefore, after appropriate technical modification, the resources have great potential when being used as feed ingredients. Bamboo is listed as a natural antioxidant in national standards (GB 2760). Evaluation of the nutritional value of bamboo showed that bamboo is rich in crude protein (15.08%), crude fat (5.03%), and soluble sugars (15.83%); in addition, it is rich in mineral elements such as calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, manganese, zinc, copper, chromium, etc.

In animal husbandry, the pig industry is large, and the feed demand is large, so how to prepare the pig feed taking bamboo powder as a main material best promotes the growth of pigs, and the improvement of the disease resistance of the pigs is an important research subject of the development of the existing feed.
