At present, the basic materials of the filter tip mainly adopt acetate fibers and base paper, and the filter tip adopting the acetate fibers is difficult to further improve the filtering efficiency because the materials are single and the production process technology tends to be mature. The filter tip made of the base paper material has obvious advantages in tar reduction, cost and environmental protection, but the filter tip cigarette has the defects of heat collapse, dry smoke, high irritation, obvious paper flavor and the like in the cigarette smoking process, so that the filter tip cigarette is difficult to be generally applied to cigarettes.

Aiming at the defects of restricting the development and application of the paper filter tip, researchers at home and abroad pertinently develop research and obtain achievements.
