The flavonoids compounds can improve the contents of total superoxide dismutase, catalase and glutathione peroxidase in a test mouse body and reduce the content of malondialdehyde in the body.

Paeonol in moutan bark has the characteristics of easy volatilization, poor water solubility and easy decomposition by light, and influences the stability and bioavailability of the moutan bark in a preparation. Beta-cyclodextrin (beta-CD) is a good inclusion material, can form an inclusion compound with a medicament under certain conditions, can obviously increase the solubility of an insoluble medicament, improve the stability of the medicament, improve the bioavailability of the medicament and the like.

Loquat leaves have the functions of lowering adverse qi, arresting vomiting, clearing away lung-heat and relieving cough. Namely, the compound has obvious inhibition effect on staphylococcus aureus, hemolytic streptococcus, dysentery bacillus, typhoid bacillus, meningococcus, pneumococcus, pseudomonas aeruginosa, influenza virus and the like. The plant extract compositions obtained in examples 1 to 7 were tested for the minimum inhibitory degree (MIC, unit: ppm) using potassium sorbate of equal weight as a control, and the results are shown in Table 1.

As shown in table 1, the plant extract compositions obtained in examples 1 to 7 all have an outstanding bacteriostatic effect compared to potassium sorbate, the flavonoid compounds in the lotus plumule and the flavonoid compounds in allium mongolicum regel all improve the bacteriostatic effect of the compositions (examples 2 and 4), the addition of the active ingredients in the loquat leaves and the active ingredients in the honeysuckle extract (examples 3 and 5) remarkably improves the bacteriostatic effect of the compositions, and the combination of the extracts in example 7 has an optimal effect.
