a. Placing the trimming roller substrate subjected to electroplating pretreatment into a sand feeding groove, then carrying out electrification groove feeding, and pre-plating for 15-35 min;

b. sleeving a clamp for sanding and a sanding cover on the profile excircle or end face position of the dressing roller matrix, uniformly dispersing abrasive materials between the dressing roller matrix and the sanding clamp/sanding cover by using a special sanding tool, and sanding;

c. unloading sand and removing redundant grinding materials;

d. removing the sanding fixture, then continuing electroplating until the coating completely wraps the abrasive, and electroplating to obtain a qualified semi-finished product of the dressing roller electroplating;

(4) bonded white corundum ring

And removing the redundant bonding agent by using a diamond grinding wheel, then bonding the white corundum ring surface with the dressing roller base body, drying, and then performing machining to obtain a finished product of the dressing roller.

Technical Field

The invention belongs to the technical field of electroplating grinding tools, and particularly relates to an electroplated diamond dressing roller for a ceramic CBN grinding wheel and a preparation method thereof.

Background

In recent years, the rapid development of the automobile industry drives the progress of the related industries. Taking grinding processing of key parts such as engine camshafts, crankshafts, gear shafts of gearboxes and the like as an example, along with the increasing requirements on surface quality, durability of grinding wheels, molded surface retentivity and the like, the ceramic CBN grinding wheel gradually replaces a common white corundum grinding wheel to become the processing first choice in the industry. Related grinding apparatus manufacturing enterprises adjust the hardness of the ceramic CBN grinding wheel binding agent to a higher level in order to improve the overall competitiveness of the grinding wheel, ensure the grinding quality, the durability and the service life. The ceramic CBN grinding wheel inevitably has the problems of out-of-tolerance shape, chip adhesion and the like in the grinding process, the surface of the ceramic CBN grinding wheel needs to be shaped and sharpened (generally called dressing), and a dressing tool used in the process is an electroplated diamond dressing roller. Because the CBN abrasive is a material with hardness second to that of diamond, the whole dressing process is a mutual grinding process of 'hard-on-hard'. In the dressing process, according to the shape to be dressed and the function of the machine tool, the dressing roller is designed into a butterfly shape or a bowl shape, and the profile of the grinding wheel is dressed by utilizing an interpolation program of the machine tool. Because the dressing process is the contact between a line and a surface, the hardness of the grinding wheel is high, the dressing roller wheel is consumed quickly, the part which is not dressed can be inevitably generated, and the defect of line damage is generated on the workpiece after grinding. In addition, in the electroplating and sanding process of the butterfly-shaped or bowl-shaped trimming roller, abrasive materials are not allowed to be attached to the outer circle, the overall concentration consistency of the abrasive material layer cannot be guaranteed through the conventional sanding process, the trimming effect is guaranteed in modes of 'unmoving' during the just-on process or frequently adjusting the trimming speed ratio and the like, and the trimming efficiency and the customer experience are seriously influenced.

The Chinese invention patent ' a grinding, finishing and forming method of a free curve ring surface superhard grinding wheel ' (the publication number is CN105751069A) ' discloses a grinding, finishing and forming method of a free curve ring surface superhard grinding wheel, which comprises the following steps: step 1, representing a grinding wheel outline discrete point cloud by a discrete vector Pw in a discrete point modeling mode; step 2, obtaining kPw a discrete vector Pd which represents the discrete point cloud of the grinding stone profile curve according to the discrete vector Pw, the grinding wheel thickness Bw and the oilstone thickness Bd; step 3, solving a discrete vector Ow of a discrete point cloud of the free curve interpolation track; and 4, controlling the grinding wheel to move along the discrete tool location point along a free curve numerical control interpolation track on the numerical control grinding machine for finishing to obtain a grinding wheel ring surface working surface. Although the trimming method provided by the invention is simple and easy to implement, omits the complex process of solving the binary higher order equation set, only needs to obtain the discrete point cloud of the grinding wheel profile, can be used for trimming by adopting a discrete point control trimming method, is easy to implement and has high precision, but the method does not relate to the improvement of the electroplated surface.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention aims to provide an electroplated diamond dressing roller for a ceramic CBN grinding wheel and a preparation method thereof, aiming at overcoming the defects of the prior art, solving the problems of poor sharpness of the dressing roller, scratches on the surface of a dressed grinding material and other line injuries under the conventional composite electroplating process, and improving the overall quality of the dressing roller.

In order to solve the technical problems, the invention adopts the technical scheme that:

the electroplated diamond dressing roller for the ceramic CBN grinding wheel comprises a dressing roller base body and an electroplating surface arranged at one side end of the dressing roller base body, wherein the electroplating surface is a straight surface parallel to the upper end surface of the dressing roller base body or a vertical surface vertical to the upper end surface of the dressing roller base body,

the dressing roller base body is also provided with a white corundum ring surface, and the white corundum ring surface is arranged at the other side end opposite to the electroplating surface.

The white corundum ring surface and the dressing roller base body are fixedly bonded.

The preparation method of the electroplated diamond dressing roller for the ceramic CBN grinding wheel comprises the following steps:

(1) dressing roller base and abrasive

Selecting a dressing roller matrix and an abrasive, and designing a corresponding tool clamp according to the dressing roller matrix;

(2) electroplating pretreatment for dressing roller matrix

Removing oil stains and oxide layers on the surface of the substrate by adopting a conventional electroplating pretreatment process;

(3) composite electroplating

a. Placing the trimming roller substrate subjected to electroplating pretreatment into a sand feeding groove, then carrying out electrification groove feeding, and pre-plating for 15-35 min;

b. sleeving a clamp for sanding and a sanding cover on the profile excircle or end face position of the dressing roller matrix, uniformly dispersing abrasive materials between the dressing roller matrix and the sanding clamp/sanding cover by using a special sanding tool, and sanding;

c. unloading sand, and removing redundant diamond grinding materials;

d. removing the sanding fixture, then continuing electroplating until the coating completely wraps the abrasive, and electroplating to obtain a qualified semi-finished product of the dressing roller electroplating;

(4) bonded white corundum ring

And removing the redundant bonding agent by using a diamond grinding wheel, then bonding the white corundum ring surface with the dressing roller base body, drying, and then performing machining to obtain a finished product of the dressing roller.

The granularity of the grinding material in the step (1) is 18-70 #.

The sand feeding current density range is 0.1-1.0A/dm2 when sand feeding is carried out in the step (3).

The sand feeding operation time in the step (3) is 2-5 min.

And (4) standing and electroplating for 2-6h in the sand feeding step (3).

And (4) bonding the metal adhesive with the trimming roller base body.

The invention has the beneficial effects that:

(1) according to the electroplated diamond dressing roller for the ceramic CBN grinding wheel and the preparation method thereof, by adopting the structural design of the dressing roller bonded with the white corundum ring, the dressing roller diamond grinding material and the white corundum ring dressing and leveling effects in the dressing process of the ceramic CBN grinding wheel can be realized, and the defect of line damage caused by copying a convex line generated by hard collision between the diamond grinding material and the surface of the ceramic CBN grinding wheel to a workpiece is avoided;

(2) in the electroplating and sanding process, the outer circle cannot be attached with the grinding material; when the grinding materials are manually filled to the position to be plated of the base body in the normal sanding process, because the grinding material particles are large and the excircle is not shielded, the phenomenon that the concentration of the grinding materials at the position close to the excircle is low or no grinding materials are easy to occur, namely the integral concentration is inconsistent, the dressing effect is inconsistent under the condition of the same dressing parameter in the using process, after a special tool clamp is designed, the grinding materials are uniformly distributed according to the shape of the dressing roller, the integral concentration of the position of a grinding material layer is improved by utilizing the shielding principle of the tool clamp, the phenomenon that the dressing effect is poor due to the low excircle concentration of the dressing roller is effectively avoided, the integral grinding material distribution uniformity of the dressing roller is ensured, the consistency of the grinding material concentration at the edge position of the dressing roller and the integral concentration is ensured, and the technical problems that the matching performance of the dressing;

(3) the white corundum rings are bonded according to the using process of the trimming roller, and after the ceramic CBN grinding wheel is trimmed by diamonds, the surface of the ceramic CBN grinding wheel is secondarily leveled and edged by using the position of the white corundum ring surface, so that the surface smoothness and sharpness of the ceramic CBN grinding wheel are ensured, and the trimming and grinding effects are effectively ensured;

(4) the problems that the traditional single-particle abrasive dressing roller has inconsistent concentration after being plated and the ceramic CBN grinding wheel has line damage after being dressed are solved, and the using effect and the service life of the dressing roller are effectively improved.

Detailed Description

The following description of the embodiments of the present invention is provided for illustrative purposes, and other advantages and effects of the present invention will become apparent to those skilled in the art from the present disclosure.

The present invention provides an electroplated diamond dressing roller for a ceramic CBN grinding wheel and a method for manufacturing the same, as shown in fig. 1 to 3.

The electroplated diamond dressing roller for the ceramic CBN grinding wheel comprises a dressing roller base body 1 and an electroplating surface 11 arranged at one side end of the dressing roller base body, wherein the electroplating surface 11 is a straight surface parallel to the upper end surface of the dressing roller base body or a vertical surface vertical to the upper end surface of the dressing roller base body,

the dressing roller base body 1 is also provided with a white corundum ring surface 2, and the white corundum ring surface 2 is arranged at the other side end opposite to the electroplating surface.

The white corundum ring surface 2 and the dressing roller base body 1 are fixedly bonded.

The preparation method of the electroplated diamond dressing roller for the ceramic CBN grinding wheel is characterized by comprising the following steps of:

(1) dressing roller base and abrasive

Selecting a dressing roller matrix 1 and an abrasive 4, and designing a corresponding special tool sanding clamp 3 according to the dressing roller matrix, wherein the abrasive 4 is a high-performance diamond, and the granularity of the abrasive is 18-70 #;

(2) electroplating pretreatment for dressing roller matrix

Removing oil stains and oxide layers on the surface of the substrate by adopting a conventional electroplating pretreatment process;

(3) composite electroplating

a. Placing the trimming roller substrate subjected to electroplating pretreatment into a sand feeding groove, then carrying out electrification groove feeding, and pre-plating for 15-35 min;

b. sleeving a clamp for sanding and a sanding cover on the profile excircle or end face position of the dressing roller matrix, uniformly dispersing abrasive materials between the dressing roller matrix and the sanding clamp/sanding cover by using a special sanding tool 3, and sanding; the selectable range of the sand feeding current density is 0.1-1.0A/dm2Sanding for 2-5min, and standing for electroplating for 2-6 h;

c. unloading sand, and removing redundant diamond grinding materials;

d. removing the sanding fixture 3, then continuing electroplating until the coating completely wraps the abrasive, and electroplating to obtain a qualified semi-finished product of the dressing roller electroplating;

(4) bonded white corundum ring

And removing redundant bonding agents by using a diamond grinding wheel, then bonding the white corundum torus with the dressing roller base body, bonding the white corundum torus with the dressing roller base body by adopting metal glue, drying, and processing a finished product by using a turning mode to obtain a finished product of the dressing roller.

Example one

The electroplated diamond dressing roller has the outer diameter of 140mm, the thickness of 19mm, the aperture of 52mm and the abrasive granularity of 20/25 #.

Firstly, processing a trimming roller substrate, removing oil, assembling a connecting wire and a clamp, and adopting a pretreatment process of electrochemical corrosion with a current density of 10-20A/dm2Electrolyzing for 3-7min, cleaning with pure water, and quickly charging the pretreated trimming roller substrate into a tank with pre-plating current density of 2.0A/dm2Pre-plating for 30 min; during sanding, the sanding fixture is sleeved and clamped on the outer circle of the base body of the dressing roller, the abrasive material floats to the part to be plated from top to bottom, the abrasive material is uniformly attached to the part of the abrasive material layer, and the rotating speed of a specific workpiece, the filling speed of the abrasive material, sanding operation time and sanding time parameters are shown in table 1.

And taking out the sand after 5.5 hours of electroplating, unloading the sand, and turning to a thickening process without finding a sand shortage phenomenon. After thickening for 10h, disassembling the sanding fixture for recycling, and continuously thickening the rest position for 56h to obtain a semi-finished product of electroplating of the electroplating finishing roller with the granularity of SD20/25 #; the grinding material is uniformly distributed through microscope detection, after a resin diamond grinding wheel is used for rounding, E-grade hard white corundum is bonded by using metal glue and processed into a 45-degree inclined plane, and the diameter of the outer circle of the white corundum is ensured to be less than 0.2mm of the position of a diamond, so that a novel finished product of the dressing roller is obtained; and then clamping the ceramic CBN grinding wheel to a special cylindrical grinding machine, setting an interpolation finishing program, finishing the ceramic CBN grinding wheel, then wearing a crankshaft, having a smooth surface and having no defects of linear damage, vibration lines and the like, and meeting the requirements of clients.

Example two

The electroplated diamond dressing roller has the outer diameter of 135mm, the thickness of 50mm, the aperture of 52mm and the abrasive grain size of 30/35 #.

The specific manufacturing process is the same as the first embodiment, the difference is that the specification needs to be sanded at two positions, two clamps need to be designed to ensure the uniform distribution of the grinding materials, and the specific electroplating process parameters are as follows: the pre-plating current density is 3.5A/dm2The pre-plating time is 20min, and the specific parameters are shown in Table 2.

Taking out and unloading sand after electroplating for 4h, and turning to a thickening process when no sand shortage phenomenon is found; after 8h of thickening, disassembling the sanding fixture, continuously thickening the rest position for 48h to obtain a semi-finished product of the electroplated diamond roller with the granularity of SD30/35# abrasive, detecting by a microscope, wherein the abrasive is distributed uniformly; the special grinding machine is clamped, and through a dressing process test, the shape meets the requirement, no line damage is caused at the position of the excircle and the end face, and the consumption of the dressing roller is uniform.
