The pressing plate 2 is movably arranged in the four clamping grooves 11 below the machine table 1 up and down in a matched mode, a certain gap is reserved between the pressing plate and the bottom surface of the machine table 1, and the knitted fabric 9 to be ironed can transversely penetrate through the gap from left to right. The pressing plate 2 is arranged to be hollow, a plurality of steam holes 21 are uniformly formed in the top surface of the pressing plate 2, an opening is formed in the side surface of the pressing plate 2 and connected with a steam pipe 22, and the steam pipe 22 is communicated with the steam holes 21. The practical use process of the knitted fabric ironing and shaping device comprises the following steps:

1) installing the knitted fabric 9 to be ironed, wherein the knitted fabric 9 passes through the gap between the bottom surface of the machine table 1 and the top surface of the pressing plate 2 and is supported by the fabric frame 5;

2) the air cylinder 34 is started through the pedal type control switch 35, and the telescopic rod of the air cylinder 34 pushes the trolley 32 to slowly run from left to right and gradually approach the pressing plate 2;

3) the pressing roller 33 on the trolley 32 firstly contacts the inclined plane 23 at the bottom of the left side of the pressing plate 2, and along with the continuous right movement of the pressing roller 33, the pressing roller 33 gradually jacks up the pressing plate 2, and the pressing plate 2 gradually presses the knitted fabrics 9 to be ironed;

4) the steam pipe 22 is opened, the steam in the steam pipe 22 is sprayed out from the steam holes 21 on the top surface of the pressing plate 2, the knitted fabric 9 to be ironed is ironed, leveled and shaped under the combined action of the steam and the pressure of the pressing plate 2, and the trolley 32 drives the pressing roller 33 to gradually move to the right in the process;

5) according to actual requirements, the foot-operated control switch 35 is used for controlling the telescopic rod of the air cylinder 34 to stretch back and forth, so that the knitted fabric 9 can be ironed repeatedly, or an automatic reel can be arranged on the outer side of the fabric rack 5 to gradually wind up the knitted fabric 9, and thus, the whole knitted fabric can be ironed semi-automatically.
