The electronic content indicator needs a built-in power supply or an external power supply, and under the condition of no power, the storage tank is monitored to be invalid, so that the potential safety hazard is large.

Meanwhile, many large storage tanks are used to store hazardous chemicals, which become a significant source of danger. In thunder and lightning areas, the electronic content indicator is greatly influenced by lightning strikes and is easy to fail, so that the safe operation of the storage tank is difficult to guarantee, and major accidents are easy to cause.

In view of the above, an object of the present invention is to provide a lightning protection type mechanical internal volume indicator for a storage tank, which solves the problem of detecting the internal volume of the storage tank without a power supply.
