Patent document CN105995033A describes a feed additive for fur-bearing animals, which comprises: 10-20% of zinc methionine complex, 10-20% of complex enzyme preparation, 15-20% of traditional Chinese medicine auxiliary agent, 1-5% of vitamin E, 1-5% of vitamin C and the balance of puffed soybean meal. The feed additive can obviously improve the density of the fur-bearing animal, improve the fur production performance of the fur-bearing animal, improve the fur quality, and simultaneously supplement nutrients required by the growth of the fur of the animal, improve the growth speed of the fur, thereby improving the culture benefit.

However, there is no description in the above patents of using sodium hyaluronate, adding four methionine chelating trace elements and cysteine to improve the quality of pet hair.

Preferably, the methionine chelated trace elements comprise the following components in a mass ratio of 1-8: 0.1-0.5: 1-6:0.1-0.5, methionine chelated zinc, methionine chelated copper, methionine chelated iron, and methionine chelated manganese. The hair can be further smoothed and the pigment deposition can be improved by compounding the four methionine chelated organic trace elements.

Preferably, the mass ratio of methionine to cysteine is 1-2: 1. The glossiness of the hair can be further improved by adding methionine and cysteine.

The invention also provides an application of the additive for improving the quality of pet hair in pet feed, wherein the additive amount of the additive is 4%.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following beneficial effects:

(1) according to the invention, methionine, cysteine and methionine chelating trace elements (iron, copper, zinc and manganese) are added into a formula, and vitamins, sodium hyaluronate and the like are compounded to prepare an additive;

(2) by using the method, the prepared additive solves the problem of poor quality of pet hair in a short time;

(3) the additive is added into the pet daily feed or the pet feed in the form of the hair beautifying functional bag, and the effect of improving the hair quality of the pet can be achieved by adding the hair beautifying functional bag.

Effect verification:

the experiment selects 10 border shepherd dogs, randomly divides into 2 groups, each group comprises 5 dogs, and respectively feeds control group dog food (namely conventional dog food, wherein the additive does not contain sodium hyaluronate, methionine and cysteine) and beagle dog food (namely 4% of the additive prepared in example 1 is added in the conventional dog food) for one month. Dogs were bathed, combed and scored for hair beautification at the beginning and end of the trial, respectively. The hair beauty score is 5 points, and the higher the score is, the better the index is. The glossiness is the lightness of the dog hair observed under the same light, the softness is the tactile sensation touched by hand, and the smoothness is the tactile sensation stroked along the hair growth direction. 5 people score at the same time, and the average score is divided into the scores of the dogs. The test results are shown in tables 2, 3 and 4, and the glossiness, smoothness and softness of the fur of the side-herd dog are obviously improved after the side-herd dog is fed with the daily ration of the hair beautifying formula for 1 month. The rough condition of the hair can be seen through a microscope before and after the test, as shown in figure 1, the canine hair structure is more compact and smoother after the test, and no branch hair scale exists.
