Background

The forming process of the existing high-tube aluminum alloy ring piece generally comprises the following steps: heating → pier thickening → punching → core rod drawing → flat end face → repair → heating → ring rolling, because the forging temperature range of the aluminum alloy is narrower, for some aluminum alloys with larger height-diameter ratio, the blank making before the ring rolling often needs two or more fire times, and the problem that easily exists in the production process is: 1. the shape of the blank is irregular, so that a bell mouth is easy to appear in the ring rolling process, and the machining allowance is large; 2. surface defects are easy to occur in the blank making process, polishing and repairing are needed, and the process is complicated and overlong; 3. the molding fire frequency is more, and the product performance is influenced; 4. the product performance is not uniform due to the fact that deformation of all parts of the same product is inconsistent; 5. the variation of each product in mass production is inconsistent, resulting in differences in performance. For some products with larger performance margins, the method does not affect the use of the products, but for some products with strict use conditions, the consistency of the products needs to be improved.

In this embodiment, the inner cavity of the blank-making cylindrical die 1 and the outer walls of the long punch 2 and the short punch 3 have tapers. The taper is convenient for material returning on one hand, and the wall thickness of the blank can be ensured to be uniform on the other hand.

In this embodiment, the small diameter end of the short punch 3 is larger than the small diameter end of the long punch 2, and the large diameter end of the short punch 3 is larger than the large diameter end of the long punch 2. The arrangement is favorable for pressing out the center punch.

In this embodiment, the large diameter end of the short punch 3 is provided with a straight cylinder section 31. The straight cylinder section 31 further plays a role in automatically correcting the inner cavity into a straight cylinder surface in the process of running, so that the uniformity of the wall thickness of the cylinder and the perpendicularity between the inner diameter and the outer diameter and the end surface are ensured, and a horn mouth in the ring rolling process can be effectively avoided.

s1: placing the round aluminum blank 7 in the blank-making cylindrical die 1, wherein the small-diameter end of the inner cavity of the blank-making cylindrical die 1 faces downwards;

s2: respectively pressing a long punch 2 and a short punch 3 into the round aluminum billet 7 from the center of the upper end and the lower end of the round aluminum billet 7 to the middle;

s3: turning over the blank-making cylindrical die 1, bearing the blank-making cylindrical die 1 and the round aluminum blank 7 on the first material-returning die 4, and supporting the second material-returning die 5 at the bottom of the first material-returning die 4;

s4: the short punch 3 is pressed downwards until the long punch 2 and the short punch 3 are all withdrawn from the first stripping die 4;

s5: disassembling the first material returning die 4, turning the blank making cylinder die 1 and bearing the blank making cylinder die on the second material returning die 5;

s6: and the material returning punch 6 is pressed downwards to drive the round aluminum billet 7 to be withdrawn from the second material returning die 5.

The method adopts a double-punch bidirectional pressing mode to form the inner cavity, and has strong operability and high efficiency; the inner cavity can be automatically corrected into a straight cylinder surface in the descending process of the short punch 3, the uniformity of the wall thickness of the cylinder part and the perpendicularity of the inner diameter and the outer diameter and the end surface are ensured, and a horn mouth in the ring rolling process can be effectively avoided. Meanwhile, the blank making of the barrel part can be realized by one fire, the non-uniformity and the surface defects of the forming are avoided by using the die, the effect is obvious, and the method is suitable for batch production.
