Technical Field
The invention relates to a shoe cover, in particular to a shoe cover with a reinforced edge of a sleeve opening so as to be difficult to pull open. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing the shoe cover.
Background
The shoe cover is used for being sleeved on a shoe to prevent pollutants on the shoe from polluting the environment or prevent environmental pollutants from polluting the shoe. In the environment with high requirement for environmental cleanness, such as dust-free workshops in precision manufacturing industry, sterile workshops in food and pharmaceutical industry, operating rooms and other occasions, people are generally required to wear shoe covers. In addition, with the development of society and the improvement of living standard of people, people pay more and more attention to indoor sanitation. Many households will prepare shoe covers to be worn by guests when they enter the room, so as to prevent the guests' shoes from soiling the floor in the room.
The prior shoe covers are mostly made of non-woven fabrics, Polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) or Chlorinated Polyether (CPE). The shoe cover made of polyethylene has good water and moisture resistance, but is not resistant to oil and organic vapor, and the shoe cover made of chlorinated polyether has excellent oil resistance, heat resistance and flame retardance. In addition, the shoe covers made of polyethylene, polypropylene and chlorinated polyether have a relatively poor resistance to mechanical stresses, such as tensile properties. When a user puts the shoe cover on a shoe, especially when the shoe cover is thin, the shoe cover made of polyethylene and chlorinated polyether is easy to tear. When a user puts the shoe cover on a shoe, the shoe cover made of polyethylene and chlorinated polyether is easy to tear particularly at the sleeve opening part or the sleeve opening periphery of the shoe cover. Compared with the shoe cover made of polyethylene or chlorinated polyether, the shoe cover made of non-woven fabric has better tensile property. However, the non-woven fabric has a large friction force with the ground, and the shoe cover made of the non-woven fabric is not resistant to abrasion caused by long-time walking of a user. Secondly, after the non-woven fabrics are worn, short fibers are easily generated, and the cleanness of the environment is affected.
