Background

The glutinous rice cake is also called a rice cake, is prepared by taking glutinous rice and potatoes as main materials, placing the glutinous rice cake and the potatoes in a steamer for steaming after being soaked clearly, then quickly placing the glutinous rice cake in a groove for hammering until the glutinous rice cake is soft and flexible, making the glutinous rice cake into a large or small dough when the glutinous rice cake is hot, placing sesame for frying, grinding the sesame into powder and mixing with white granulated sugar, and obtaining the glutinous rice cake which is fragrant and sweet in taste.

At present, people generally beat glutinous rice cakes into grooves by a Canadian wooden stick repeatedly until glutinous rice is mashed into paste.
