The disclosed device is provided with: a trademark image acquisition unit (11, 211) that acquires a trademark image (e.g., a genuine trademark image (T11) or a non-genuine trademark image (T12)) corresponding to the printing device (1) on the basis of a consumable (e.g., an ink cartridge (100)) that has been attached to the printing device (1); and a display control unit (12, 212) that causes the display unit (40, 230) to display the trademark image (e.g., genuine trademark image (T11) or non-genuine trademark image (T12)) acquired by the trademark image acquisition unit (11, 211).)
1. An image processing apparatus is characterized by comprising:
a trademark image acquisition unit that acquires a trademark image corresponding to a printing device based on a consumable part that has been attached to the printing device; and
and a display control unit that causes a display unit to display the trademark image acquired by the trademark image acquisition unit.
2. The image processing apparatus according to claim 1,
the trademark image acquiring unit acquires the trademark image obtained by imaging a trademark attached to the consumable.
3. The image processing apparatus according to claim 1,
the trademark image acquisition unit acquires the trademark image based on an authentication result of the consumable.
4. The image processing apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 3,
the display control unit causes the display unit to display at least one of the authentication result image of the consumable part and the information image of the consumable part together with the trademark image.
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an image processing apparatus.
Background
In the printing apparatus, consumables such as an ink cartridge, a toner cartridge, a photosensitive drum, and stencil paper are mounted according to the printing method.
For example, an ink jet printing apparatus is provided with a plurality of ink cartridges that store ink for each color as a consumable product and are detachably mounted. In an inkjet printing apparatus, ink is supplied from an ink cartridge to an inkjet head, and the ink is ejected from a nozzle of the inkjet head toward printing paper, thereby printing images, characters, and the like.
When an inappropriate ink cartridge is mounted on an inkjet printing apparatus and used, for example, the ink aggregates, and the aggregated ink blocks nozzles to cause ejection failure, or the ink landing on paper spreads to cause edge failure of an image. These problems cause a reduction in the quality of the printed image. In addition, there are also the following cases: when the ink is coagulated, each device in the apparatus receives an excessive load, which causes a failure of the apparatus.
Therefore, conventionally, a printing apparatus to which a consumable part is attached performs identification and authentication of a genuine product using information attached to the consumable part.
In addition, an authentication device has been proposed which performs authorization authentication of a consumable using image information obtained by imaging the consumable in addition to information stored in a memory of the consumable (see, for example, patent document 1).
Disclosure of Invention
Problems to be solved by the invention
Even if the consumable authentication is performed as described above, there are cases where: the information of the consumable is copied, thereby authenticating the non-genuine product as the genuine product. Since the authentication process is performed by the printing apparatus, the user cannot confirm the consumable part actually mounted, and cannot grasp a trademark (logo trademark or character trademark) attached to the consumable part. In order for the user to confirm the consumable part, the consumable part mounted on the printing apparatus needs to be taken out of the printing apparatus. Even when the trademark attached to the consumable in the state of being attached to the printing apparatus is exposed by opening the door of the printing apparatus, it takes time to open the door of the printing apparatus and check the trademark.
The invention aims to provide an image processing device which can easily grasp information of consumables installed in a printing device.
Means for solving the problems
In one aspect, an image processing apparatus includes: a trademark image acquisition unit that acquires a trademark image corresponding to a printing device based on a consumable part that has been attached to the printing device; and a display control unit that causes a display unit to display the trademark image acquired by the trademark image acquisition unit.
ADVANTAGEOUS EFFECTS OF INVENTION
According to this aspect, the user can easily grasp information of the consumable part that has been attached to the printing apparatus.

Each process shown in fig. 7 is performed by reading a predetermined program from the storage unit 20 by the control unit 10 (the trademark image acquisition unit 11 and the display control unit 12) and executing the program. As described above, the

When the trademark image acquiring unit 11 acquires the images such as the genuine trademark image T11 and the non-genuine trademark image T12 (step S2: yes), the display control unit 12 causes the trademark images such as the genuine trademark image T11 and the non-genuine trademark image T12 to be displayed in the trademark display areas 41a and 42a of the setting screens 41 and 42 shown in fig. 5A and 5B (step S3). The display control unit 12 may refer to the registration image stored in the storage unit 20, and if there is a matching brand image, display the brand image in the brand display area 41 a. Alternatively, the display control section 12 may determine an unnecessary portion reflected on the periphery of the antenna portion or the like of the noncontact IC120 in the captured image based on the trademark image stored in the storage section 20, and may remove the unnecessary portion by cutting.
The control unit 10 refers to the registration image stored in the storage unit 20 to recognize whether or not there is a genuine brand image T11 that matches the image captured by the imaging unit 32K (step S4).
Next, the control unit 10 determines whether or not the trademark image captured by the imaging unit 32K matches the genuine trademark image T11 (genuine image) (step S5).
When the control unit 10 determines that the trademark image captured by the imaging unit 32K matches the genuine trademark image T11 (genuine image) (step S5: yes), information (for example, information on the date of manufacture, color information, type, density, and the like) of the

When it is determined in the determination process of step S5 that the image captured by the imaging unit 32K does not match the genuine trademark image T11 (genuine image) (step S5: no), the control unit 10 determines whether or not the image captured by the imaging unit 32K is a registered image stored in the storage unit 20 (step S12).
If the image captured by the imaging unit 32K is the registered image stored in the storage unit 20 (yes in step S12), the control unit 10 reads the setting information corresponding to the registered image if the setting information is stored in the storage unit 20 (step S13). The display control unit 12 displays the read information (for example, information on the date of manufacture, color information, type, density, and the like) on the display unit 40 (step S14). Then, the control unit 10 performs the process of step S10 described above.
When the image captured by the imaging unit 32K in the determination process of step S12 is not the registered image stored in the storage unit 20 (step S12: no), the display controller 12 causes the display unit 40 to display: the user is prompted to perform an input operation of determining whether or not to register the captured image (trademark image) as a registration image in the
When the user performs an input operation to register the captured image as the registration image in the printing apparatus 1 (step S15: yes), the display controller 12 causes the display 40 to display information (for example, information on the date of manufacture, color information, type, density, and the like) for prompting the user to input the setting information of the
