Technical Field

The present invention relates to a configuration structure of a connection terminal.

Background

In recent years, a plurality of connection terminals having an arrangement structure in which a portable device such as a smartphone or a digital audio device is brought into a vehicle interior and connected to the connection terminals provided in the vehicle interior have been known to be used. In this case, it is considered to place the portable device in a storage box of an instrument panel. In a state where the portable device is placed in the storage box, a cable (wiring) of the portable device comes out of an upper surface opening of the storage box and extends to the connection terminal of the arrangement structure of the connection terminals. Therefore, the cables (wires) may hinder the opening/closing operation of the storage box, and a plurality of cables (wires) may be entangled with each other.

As a countermeasure, a structure is known in which an opening is provided in an upper portion of the storage box, and the grip portion is projected from a center of the opening in the vehicle width direction. By projecting the grip portion from the opening portion, a plurality of cables (wiring lines) can be distributed to both sides of the grip portion. Therefore, when the storage box is opened and closed by grasping the grip portion, the cables (wires) can be prevented from becoming an obstacle, and the plurality of cables (wires) can be prevented from being entangled with each other (see, for example, patent document 1 (japanese patent No. 5570583)).

In addition, the arrangement structure of the connection terminals of patent document 1 is such that a plurality of connection terminals are arranged in a line in the vehicle width direction (i.e., in the lateral direction). Therefore, the arrangement structure of the connection terminals requires a relatively large area in the vehicle width direction. As a method for suppressing the area of the arrangement structure of the connection terminals in the vehicle width direction and saving space, it is conceivable to arrange a plurality of connection terminals vertically.

However, when a plurality of connection terminals are arranged in an upside-down manner for space saving, wiring of the mobile device connected to each connection terminal may be entangled when the plurality of connection terminals are used simultaneously. Therefore, the aesthetic appearance of the vehicle interior may be impaired, and the operability of the electronic device such as a portable device may be affected.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention aims to provide a configuration structure of a connection terminal, which can save space and improve the appearance in a vehicle cabin and the operability of electronic equipment.

The invention relates to a configuration structure of a plurality of connection terminals (for example, a configuration structure 21 of connection terminals according to an embodiment) provided for connecting an electronic device to an electronic module unit (for example, an electronic module unit 20 according to an embodiment), wherein a first connection terminal (for example, the jack 31 and the service jack 32 according to the embodiment) of at least one of the connection terminals is arranged at a height position different from that of other second connection terminals (for example, the HDMI (registered trademark) terminal 41, the first USB terminal 42, and the second USB terminal 43 according to the embodiment) in the vertical direction, the first connection terminal is located above the second connection terminal in the vertical direction, and the second connection terminal is located at a position that avoids a wiring (for example, a cable 35 according to the embodiment) extending downward from the electronic device in a state where the electronic device is connected to the first connection terminal in a lateral direction intersecting the vertical direction.

In this way, by disposing the plurality of connection terminals so as to be separated in the vertical direction, the region in which the connection terminals are provided can be effectively utilized, and space saving of the region in which the connection terminals are provided can be achieved.

In addition, the second connection terminal located below the first connection terminal is arranged so as to avoid the wiring of the electronic device connected to the first connection terminal located above the second connection terminal. This can keep the wiring in non-contact with the second connection terminal, and prevent damage to the wiring.

Further, the wiring of the electronic device connected to the first connection terminal and the wiring of the electronic device connected to the second connection terminal can be prevented from being entangled with each other, and the appearance of the vehicle interior can be improved.

Further, by suppressing the wiring of the electronic device connected to the first connection terminal and the wiring of the electronic device connected to the second connection terminal from being entangled with each other, for example, the operability of the electronic device connected to the first connection terminal and the second connection terminal can be improved.

In the above aspect, a plurality of the second connection terminals may be arranged in a lateral direction intersecting with a vertical direction.

In this way, by arranging the plurality of second connection terminals in the lateral direction, the area where the connection terminals are provided can be effectively used. This makes it possible to achieve both the provision of a larger number of second connection terminals in the region where the connection terminals are provided and the saving of space in the region where the connection terminals are provided.

In the above-described aspect, the wiring extending downward from the electronic device may be disposed in a space (for example, the space 51 in the embodiment) between the second connection terminals adjacent to each other in a lateral direction intersecting the vertical direction.

In this way, by disposing the wiring of the electronic device in the space between the adjacent second connection terminals, the wiring of the electronic device can be disposed so as to reliably avoid the second connection terminals. This can keep the wiring in non-contact with the second connection terminal, and prevent damage to the wiring.

In the above-described aspect, the number of positions of the second connection terminals located closer to the front passenger seat (for example, the front passenger seat 17 in the embodiment) than the center in the lateral direction that intersects the vertical direction in the region where the connection terminals are provided (for example, the connection region 24 in the embodiment) may be larger than the number of positions located closer to the driver seat (for example, the driver seat 16 in the embodiment) than the center in the lateral direction.

In this way, the number of the second connection terminals on the passenger seat side, which have a large chance of using the connection terminals, is set to be larger than the number of the second connection terminals on the driver seat side. Thus, when there is a passenger in both the driver's seat and the passenger seat, the usability of the passenger in the passenger seat, which uses the second connection terminal more frequently, can be improved.

In addition, the number of the second connection terminals on the front passenger seat side, which have a large chance of using the second connection terminals, is configured to be larger than the number of the second connection terminals on the driver seat side in a state where the wires extending downward from the electronic device are arranged in the space between the second connection terminals. This makes it possible to reduce the number of second connection terminals to a minimum necessary number, thereby achieving the effects of space saving and cost reduction.

Further, by minimizing the second connection terminals, the size of the molding die of the arrangement structure of the connection terminals can be reduced, and further cost reduction can be achieved.

In the above aspect, 3 of the second connection terminals may be arranged in a horizontal direction intersecting with the vertical direction, a second connection terminal located at the center of the 3 second connection terminals may be a video terminal, and two second connection terminals located at both sides of the video terminal may be USB terminals.

By connecting the portable terminal to the USB terminal (Universal Serial Bus) in this manner, music of the portable terminal can be played back using a speaker of a vehicle, for example. Further, the portable terminal can be charged by connecting the portable terminal to the USB terminal.

Further, by connecting the portable terminal to a video terminal such as an HDMI terminal (High-Definition multimedia interface), for example, it is possible to project a moving image of the portable terminal on a display for navigation of a vehicle, for example.

Here, for example, it is considered that the frequency of playing music of the portable terminal by the speaker of the vehicle is higher than the frequency of projecting a moving image of the portable terminal on the display of the vehicle while the vehicle is traveling. By disposing the USB terminals on both sides of the HDMI terminal, the USB terminals can be disposed at positions close to the driver seat and the passenger seat (i.e., the passenger), and the usability of the passenger can be improved.

In the above aspect, the wiring of the electronic device connected to the first connection terminal may extend from a lower side of the electronic device in a vertical direction.

In this way, the wiring of the electronic device connected to the first connection terminal extends from the lower side of the electronic device, and the wiring is disposed on the second connection terminal side. Therefore, it is considered that the use of the second connection terminal is affected by the wiring of the electronic device, and the use is hindered. Therefore, by disposing the wiring of the electronic device in the space between the adjacent second connection terminals, the second connection terminals can be used without being affected by the wiring of the electronic device, and the usability of the second connection terminals can be improved.

In the above aspect, the first connection terminal may be configured to correspond to a voltage in a range of 220V to 240V.

In this way, many electronic devices having a shape in which the wiring extends from the lower side of the electronic device (specifically, jacks and the like) are connected to the first connection terminal, and the electronic devices correspond to a voltage in the range of 220V to 240V. Therefore, the first connection terminal is configured to correspond to a voltage in the range of 220V to 240V.

In the above aspect, the first connection terminal may include a cover (e.g., the receptacle cover 36 and the receptacle cover 38 in the embodiment) that is movable between an open position where the first connection terminal is open and a closed position where the first connection terminal is closed.

In this way, the first connection terminal (specifically, the insertion hole or the like) is provided with a cover. The first connecting terminal is arranged above the second connecting terminal. Therefore, in a state where the cover of the first connection terminal is opened, for example, the cover is arranged above, the opened cover does not cover the second connection terminal. Thus, the second connection terminal can be used in a state where the first connection terminal is used, and usability of the first connection terminal and the second connection terminal can be improved.

In the above-described aspect, the electronic module unit may be disposed in a central portion (e.g., the central portion 12a of the embodiment) of an instrument panel (e.g., the instrument panel 12 of the embodiment).

By disposing the electronic module unit in the center portion of the instrument panel in this manner, the first connection terminal and the second connection terminal of the electronic module unit can be disposed at positions that are easy to use from both the driver's seat and the passenger seat.

Effects of the invention

According to an aspect of the present invention, the first connection terminal is disposed above the second connection terminal, and the second connection terminal is disposed so as to avoid a wiring of the electronic device connected to the first connection terminal. Thus, space saving is achieved, and the beauty of the interior of the vehicle and the operability of the electronic device can be improved.

Detailed Description

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the drawings, arrow FR indicates the front of the vehicle, arrow UP indicates the upper side of the vehicle, and arrow LH indicates the left side of the vehicle.

As shown in fig. 1, the vehicle 10 includes, for example, an instrument panel 12, an instrument panel 13, a display 14, a steering wheel 15, a driver seat 16, a passenger seat 17, a sub-instrument panel 18, and an electronic module unit 20.

The instrument panel 12 is mounted on the left and right sides of the vehicle compartment 23 at the front of the vehicle compartment 23. An instrument panel 13 is provided on the instrument panel 12 at a position to the right of the center in the vehicle width direction. A monitor 14 is provided at the center in the vehicle width direction of the instrument panel 12, that is, at the left side in the vehicle width direction of the dash panel 13. The display 14 displays information of a navigation system and a portable device (electronic device), for example. A steering wheel 15 is provided behind the dashboard 13. A driver seat 16 is provided behind the steering wheel 15. A passenger seat 17 is provided on the right side of the driver seat 16 in the vehicle width direction.

An electronic module unit 20 is provided on the underside of the display 14. That is, the electronic module unit 20 is disposed at a lower portion of the center portion (i.e., the center instrument group) 12a of the instrument panel 12. That is, the electronic module unit 20 is a central cluster/module. The sub dash panel 18 extends rearward of the vehicle body from the electronic module unit 20.

The electronic module unit 20 includes a connection terminal arrangement structure 21. That is, the arrangement structure 21 of the connection terminals is arranged at the lower portion in the center portion 12a of the instrument panel 12.

Thus, the first connection terminal unit 25 and the second connection terminal unit 26 arranged in the connection terminal arrangement structure 21 can be arranged at positions that are easy to use from both the driver's seat 16 and the passenger seat 17. By inserting a plug of an electronic device such as a portable device into the first connection terminal unit 25 and the second connection terminal unit 26, the electronic device is connected to the electronic module unit 20.

The arrangement structure 21 of the connection terminals will be described below with reference to fig. 2 to 5.

As shown in fig. 2, the connection terminal arrangement structure 21 includes a connection area (area where connection terminals are provided) 24, a first connection terminal unit 25, a second connection terminal unit 26, and a start switch 27. The connection region 24 is formed in a rectangular shape, and has an upper region 24a of a rectangular shape located above and a lower region 24b of a rectangular shape located below the upper region 24 a. The first connection terminal unit 25 is provided in an upper region 24a of the connection region 24. A second connection terminal unit 26 is provided in a lower region 24b of the connection region 24.

The first connection terminal unit 25 is disposed above the second connection terminal unit 26 and includes a plurality of first connection terminals. As the plurality of first connection terminals, for example, an insertion hole 31 and a sub-receptacle 32 are arranged in the upper region 24 a. The plurality of first connection terminals are not limited to the insertion hole 31 and the auxiliary socket 32, and may be other connection terminals.

As shown in fig. 3 and 4, the insertion hole 31 is disposed at the center in the vehicle width direction of the upper region 24 a. The jack 31 corresponds to a voltage in the range of AC220V to 240V, for example, and connects the electronic device to a power source by inserting a plug 34 of the electronic device into the jack 31, for example. That is, the jack 31 can be applied to electronic equipment corresponding to a voltage in the range of AC220V to 240V.

The jack 31 includes a jack cover (cover) 36. The jack cover 36 is attached to the upper end portion 36a so as to be openable (movable) in the vertical direction with a hinge (not shown) as an axis, for example. The jack cover 36 is held at an open position (see fig. 3) where the jack 31 is opened and at a closed position (see fig. 2) where the jack 31 is closed.

The service plug 32 is disposed on the left side of the insertion hole 31 in the vehicle width direction in the upper region 24a with a space from the insertion hole 31. The auxiliary outlet 32 is an outlet capable of supplying power to an electronic device corresponding to the voltage of DC12V, for example, by inserting a plug. That is, the auxiliary outlet 32 can be applied to an electronic device corresponding to the voltage of DC 12V.

The auxiliary socket 32 is provided with a socket cover (hood) 38. The socket cover 38 is attached such that, for example, the upper end portion 38a is openable (movable) in the vertical direction with a hinge (not shown) as an axis. The socket cover 38 is held in an open position in which the auxiliary socket 32 is open and a closed position in which the auxiliary socket 32 is closed.

The starter switch 27 is disposed at the right side of the insertion hole 31 in the upper region 24a of the connection region 24 with a space from the insertion hole 31 in the vehicle width direction. The activation switch 27 activates the receptacle 31, for example by pressing in on the upper region 24 a.

The service plug 32, the insertion hole 31, and the start switch 27 are arranged in parallel with a space in a lateral direction (for example, a vehicle width direction) intersecting with a vertical direction (for example, a vertical direction).

The second connection terminal unit 26 is provided in a second connection terminal region (region where the second connection terminal is provided) 24c in the lower region 24b of the connection region 24. The second connection terminal region 24c is disposed on the left side in the vehicle width direction in the lower region 24 b. The second connection terminal unit 26 is disposed below the first connection terminal unit 25, and includes a plurality of second connection terminals.

As the plurality of second connection terminals, for example, an HDMI terminal (High-definition multimedia Interface)41, a first USB terminal (Universal Serial Bus)42, and a second USB terminal 43 are arranged in the lower region 24 b. The plurality of second connection terminals are not limited to the HDMI terminal 41, the first USB terminal 42, and the second USB terminal 43, and may be other connection terminals.

The HDMI terminal 41 is disposed at the vehicle width direction (lateral direction) center 24d of the second connection terminal region 24 c. For example, when the HDMI plug 45 (see fig. 5) of an electronic device such as a portable device is inserted into and connected to the HDMI terminal 41, a moving image of the electronic device can be projected on the display 14 for navigation of the vehicle.

The first USB terminal 42 is disposed on the left side of the HDMI terminal 41 in the vehicle width direction of the second connection terminal region 24c with a space from the HDMI terminal 41. For example, by inserting and connecting the first USB plug 46 (see fig. 5) of an electronic device such as a portable device into the first USB terminal 42, music of the electronic device can be played using speakers of the vehicle 10. Further, the electronic device can be charged by being connected to the first USB terminal 42.

The second USB terminal 43 is disposed at the vehicle width direction right side of the HDMI terminal 41 in the second connection terminal region 24c with a space from the HDMI terminal 41. For example, by inserting and connecting the second USB plug 47 (see fig. 5) of an electronic device such as a portable device into the second USB terminal 43, music of the electronic device can be played using speakers of the vehicle 10. Further, the electronic device can be charged by being connected to the second USB terminal 43.

The HDMI terminal 41, the first USB terminal 42, and the second USB terminal 43 are arranged in parallel with a gap in a lateral direction (i.e., a vehicle width direction) intersecting the vertical direction.

The starter switch 27, the jack 31, and the auxiliary socket 32 are arranged at different height positions by being positioned above the HDMI terminal 41, the first USB terminal 42, and the second USB terminal 43 in the vertical direction.

Here, the jack cover 36 of the jack 31 is attached so that the upper end 36a can be opened and closed in the vertical direction with the hinge as an axis. In a state where the jack cover 36 is opened, the jack cover 36 is disposed above. Thus, the opened jack cover 36 does not cover the HDMI terminal 41, the first USB terminal 42, the second USB terminal 43, and the like.

The upper end portion 38a of the socket cover 38 of the auxiliary socket 32 is attached to be openable and closable in the vertical direction with a hinge as an axis. In a state where the socket cover 38 is opened, the socket cover 38 is disposed above. Thus, the socket cover 38 does not cover the HDMI terminal 41, the first USB terminal 42, the second USB terminal 43, and the like.

Therefore, the HDMI terminal 41, the first USB terminal 42, and the second USB terminal 43 can be used in a state where the jack 31 and the auxiliary socket 32 are used. This can improve usability of the first connection terminals of the jack 31 and the auxiliary socket 32 and the second connection terminals of the HDMI terminal 41 and the first USB terminal 42 and the second USB terminal 43.

The second connection terminals, such as the HDMI terminal 41, the first USB terminal 42, and the second USB terminal 43, do not have covers. Therefore, when the second connection terminals such as the HDMI terminal 41, the first USB terminal 42, and the second USB terminal 43 are used, the cover does not need to be opened. Thus, there is no fear that the jack 31 and the service jack 32 are covered by the cover that is opened when the second connection terminal is used. Therefore, the jack 31 and the auxiliary socket 32 can be used in a state where the HDMI terminal 41, the first USB terminal 42, and the second USB terminal 43 are used.

This can further improve the usability of the jack 31, the first connection terminal of the auxiliary socket 32, and the second connection terminals of the HDMI terminal 41, the first USB terminal 42, and the second USB terminal 43.

Here, the auxiliary socket 32, the jack 31, the start switch 27, the first USB terminal 42, the HDMI terminal 41, and the second USB terminal 43 are arranged in a state separated in the vertical direction. Thus, the connection region 24 can be effectively utilized. Thus, for example, the service jack 32, the jack 31, the start switch 27, the first USB terminal 42, the HDMI terminal 41, and the second USB terminal 43 can be arranged in a state where the vehicle width direction dimension of the connection region 24 is kept small. Thus, the space of the connection region 24 can be saved by effectively using the connection region 24.

Further, by arranging the plurality of HDMI terminals 41, the first USB terminal 42, and the second USB terminal 43 in the horizontal direction in the second connection terminal region 24c as the second connection terminal, the second connection terminal region 24c can be effectively used. This makes it possible to provide more second connection terminals (i.e., the HDMI terminal 41, the first USB terminal 42, and the second USB terminal 43) in the connection area 24 and save space in the connection area 24.

As shown in fig. 4, in a state where the plug 34 of the electronic device is inserted into and connected to the jack 31, the cable (wiring) 35 extends downward from the lower side (lower surface 34a) of the plug 34 of the electronic device. The cable (wire) 35 is disposed in a space 51 between the horizontally adjacent HDMI terminal 41 and second USB terminal 43. Therefore, the cable 35 of the electronic device can be reliably arranged so as to avoid the HDMI terminal 41 and the second USB terminal 43. This can hold the cable 35 of the electronic device in non-contact with the HDMI terminal 41 and the second USB terminal 43, and can prevent damage to the cable 35 of the electronic device.

As shown in fig. 4 and 5, the HDMI terminal 41 and the second USB terminal 43 are disposed at positions avoiding the cable 35 of the electronic device connected to the jack 31. Therefore, the cable 35 of the electronic device connected to the jack 31, the cable 54 of the HDMI plug 45 connected to the HDMI terminal 41 and the second USB terminal 43, and the cable 56 of the second USB plug 47 can be prevented from being entangled with each other. In addition, the cable 35 of the electronic device connected to the jack 31 and the cable 55 of the first USB plug 46 can be suppressed from being entangled with each other. In this way, the cables 54, 55, and 56 are prevented from being entangled with the cable 35 of the electronic device, thereby improving the appearance of the vehicle interior 23.

Further, by suppressing the cables 54, 55, and 56 from being entangled with the cable 35 of the electronic device, the operability of the electronic device connected to the HDMI terminal 41, the second USB terminal 43, and the jack 31 can be improved.

Further, the cable 35 of the plug 34 of the electronic device connected to the jack 31 extends downward from the lower surface 34a of the plug 34, and the cable 35 is disposed on the second connection terminal side. Therefore, it is considered that the use of the second connection terminal is affected by the cable 35 of the electronic device, and the use is hindered. Then, the cable 35 of the electronic device is disposed in the space 51 between the adjacent HDMI terminal 41 and the second USB terminal 43. This enables the HDMI terminal 41 and the second USB terminal 43 to be used without being affected by the cable 35 of the electronic device, and the usability of the HDMI terminal 41 and the second USB terminal 43 can be improved.

The first USB terminal 42 and the HDMI terminal 41 are disposed on the passenger seat 17 (see fig. 1) side of the vehicle width direction center (lateral center) 24e of the lower region 24b in the second connection terminal region 24 c. The second USB terminal 43 is disposed on the driver seat 16 (see fig. 1) side of the vehicle width direction center 24e of the lower region 24b in the second connection terminal region 24 c.

That is, in the second connection terminal region 24c, the number of the second connection terminals (the first USB terminal 42 and the HDMI terminal 41) disposed on the passenger seat 17 side is set to be larger than the number of the second connection terminals (the second USB terminal 43) disposed on the driver seat 16 side.

Thus, when there is an occupant in both the driver's seat 16 and the passenger seat 17, the usability of the passenger seat 17 in which the passenger using the second connection terminal has a high chance to use the second connection terminal is improved.

The cable 35 extending downward from the lower surface 34a of the plug 34 of the electronic device is held in a state of being disposed in the space 51 between the adjacent HDMI terminal 41 and the second USB terminal 43. The number of second connection terminals (the HDMI terminal 41 and the first USB terminal 42) on the passenger seat 17 side of the cable 35 is set to be greater than the number of second connection terminals (the second USB terminal 43) on the driver seat 16 side of the cable 35.

In this way, only the minimum HDMI terminal 41, first USB terminal 42, and second USB terminal 43 required as the second connection terminal are arranged, thereby achieving the effects of space saving and cost reduction.

Further, by minimizing the second connection terminals, for example, the size of the molding die of the arrangement structure 21 of the connection terminals can be reduced, and further cost reduction can be achieved.

In addition, 3 terminals, that is, the HDMI terminal 41, the first USB terminal 42, and the second USB terminal 43, are arranged in the vehicle width direction (i.e., in the lateral direction) as the second connection terminals, and the HDMI terminal 41 is located at the center of the 3 second connection terminals. Further, a first USB terminal 42 and a second USB terminal 43 are disposed on both sides of the HDMI terminal 41.

Here, for example, while the vehicle 10 is traveling, it is considered that the frequency at which music of the electronic device is played back using the speaker of the vehicle is higher than the frequency at which a moving image of the electronic device is projected on the display 14 of the vehicle 10. Then, the first USB terminal 42 and the second USB terminal 43 are disposed on both sides of the HDMI terminal 41. Thus, the first USB terminal 42 and the second USB terminal 43 can be disposed at positions close to the driver seat 16 and the passenger seat 17 (i.e., the passenger), and the usability of the passenger can be improved.

In addition, the components in the above-described embodiments may be replaced with known components as appropriate without departing from the scope of the present invention, and the above-described modifications may be combined as appropriate.
