Background

The binder plays a very important role in the refractory material, affecting the strength, performance and service life of the refractory material. The traditional refractory material binding agent generally contains carcinogenic substances, odor and smoke such as phenolic resin, tar, asphalt and the like, seriously pollutes the atmospheric environment and threatens the health of human bodies, and meanwhile, the use quality of the binding agent is not ideal, so that the service life of the refractory material is influenced.

The existing bonding agents used for refractory materials are mainly silicates (such as water glass and the like), sulfates (such as pulp waste liquid and the like), halides (such as brine and the like), phosphates, aluminates, phenolic resins, asphalt and the like, and the bonding agents cannot well form grain boundary bonding of a recombination phase, so that the compression strength and the erosion resistance at high temperature are not ideal, the recombination phase is firstly damaged to cause the damage of the whole refractory material, for example, a magnesia brick (called as steel taphole brick) used for a tap hole of an open hearth furnace has the service life of only 20-30 furnaces, and the production requirement cannot be met. Moreover, the magnesium refractory using such a binder generally requires a high-temperature firing step.

25-35 parts of industrial glucose; 25-35 parts of glycerol; 25-35 parts of pulp waste liquid; 5-15 parts of aluminum powder.

The aluminum powder comprises the following components in percentage by mass:

the aluminum powder with the particle size of more than 89 mu m is less than or equal to 15 percent;

aluminum powder with the particle size of more than or equal to 44 mu m and less than or equal to 89 mu m is more than 50 percent;

the aluminum powder with the particle size less than or equal to 33 mu m is less than 10 percent.

The paper pulp waste liquid is acidic paper pulp waste liquid.

A preparation method of an environment-friendly bonding agent for refractory materials comprises the following steps:

1) putting the raw materials into a reaction kettle, stirring and heating to 140-160 ℃, wherein the pressure of the reaction kettle is 0.010-0.020 MPa;

2) after cooling, the binder was obtained.

An environment-friendly bonding agent for refractory materials is composed of the following raw materials in parts by mass:

If the bonding agent is added into the magnesia carbon brick as a raw material, the aluminum powder plays an antioxidation role in the magnesia carbon brick to prevent the oxidation of carbon. The existence of carbon in the magnesia carbon brick mainly prevents slag from eroding the magnesia carbon brick so as to improve the erosion resistance of the magnesia carbon brick, but the carbon has the characteristic of easy oxidation, when the carbon in the magnesia carbon brick is oxidized, the erosion resistance of the brick is reduced along with the carbon, the carbon oxidation accelerates the damage of the brick, the service life is reduced, therefore, the easily oxidized metal aluminum powder is added to protect the carbon in the brick, and the erosion resistance, the slag resistance, the spalling resistance and the high-temperature dismantling resistance of the magnesia carbon brick are improved. If the bonding agent is added into the magnesium dry material, the aluminum powder has the function of oxidation resistance, so that the magnesium dry material is better bonded with the refractory brick.

A preparation method of an environment-friendly bonding agent for refractory materials comprises the following steps:

1) putting the raw materials into a reaction kettle, stirring and heating to 140-160 ℃, wherein the pressure of the reaction kettle is 0.010-0.020 MPa;

2) after cooling, the binder was obtained.

When the bonding agent is not completely cooled to room temperature, the liquid bonding agent can be directly added into the magnesia carbon brick raw material to produce the magnesia carbon brick. The completely cooled solid binder is crushed and then added into the magnesium dry material.
