A preparation method of special-shaped tobacco particles is characterized by comprising the following steps:

s1, selecting or designing a mouth mold according to the shape of the tobacco particle body, and installing the mouth mold on an extrusion molding machine;

s2, injecting the raw materials into a feed inlet of the extrusion molding machine, carrying out extrusion molding, cutting and drying to obtain a tobacco particle body;

s3, coating the tobacco particle body to obtain the special-shaped tobacco particles.

The method of claim 8, comprising the steps of:

s1, crushing 90-99 parts of tobacco raw materials into tobacco powder with the particle size smaller than 60 meshes, adding 0-5 parts of second auxiliary materials, and uniformly stirring to obtain a mixture;

uniformly mixing 0.01-1 part of spice, 0.1-5 parts of humectant and 10-50 parts of 30-90 vol% ethanol solution, spraying the mixture, and uniformly stirring to obtain a raw material;

selecting or designing an opening die according to the shape of the tobacco particle body and related parameters, and installing the opening die on an extrusion molding machine;

s2, injecting the raw material obtained in the step S1 into a feed inlet of the extrusion molding machine, carrying out extrusion molding, cutting and drying to obtain a tobacco particle body;

s3, coating the tobacco particle body to obtain the special-shaped tobacco particles.

A smoking article formed primarily from tobacco particles comprising shaped tobacco particles according to any one of claims 1 to 7 or shaped tobacco particles produced by the method of manufacture according to any one of claims 8 to 10.

A smoking article according to claim 11, wherein said smoking article is in the form of a solid rod, a cake or a hollow cylinder, preferably said smoking article has a density of 0.3-1.2g/cm3

A method of manufacturing a smoking article according to claim 11 or 12, comprising the steps of:

(1) heating and humidifying the special-shaped tobacco particles by using damp and hot air to activate the adhesive property of a coating layer on the surfaces of the special-shaped tobacco particles to obtain damp and hot special-shaped tobacco particles;

wherein the temperature of the hot and humid air is 90-150 ℃, and the humidity is 95-100%;

(2) curing and molding the wet and hot special-shaped tobacco particles serving as raw materials, and removing redundant moisture to obtain a tobacco product blank;

(3) wrapping cigarette paper, tipping filter tips and cutting to obtain the finished product of the tobacco product.
