Background

The quality of egg yolk includes the color, size, flavor and ingredient content of egg yolk. There are many factors that affect the quality of egg yolk.

The yolk colour is formed by fat-soluble pigments which are deposited into the yolk during the formation of the bird's eggs, the body itself having no ability to synthesize these pigments, the pigments in the yolk being obtained from the feed. The ideal yolk color depends on the quality and amount of lutein in the diet, and the appropriate amount of red pigment can improve the deposition efficiency of lutein in yolk.

The synthetic pigment commonly used in laying hen production comprises capsanthin, luteal leaf, cryptoxanthin, violaxanthin, zeaxanthin, etc. At present, the artificial synthetic pigment substances in the feed additive are clearly specified at home and abroad, and the addition amount of the artificial synthetic pigment substances in the feed is required to be not more than 30 g/t. Complete coloration of egg yolk generally takes 10 days, and in production, feed containing pigment is fed for two weeks before egg laying so as to completely generate the color of egg yolk.

The absorption process of lutein is similar to that of fat-soluble vitamins, and the lutein is combined with bile salt in small intestine to form mixed micelle, enters a near water layer on the surface of small intestine mucous membrane, a small part (or a few types) is re-esterified in the small intestine mucous membrane, and the majority enters blood and lymph in circulation in a diffusion mode, and is adsorbed by an active transportation mode and deposited in the skin.

The yellow pigment deposition is directly influenced by the health condition of the chicken body, and particularly, the yellow pigment deposition is influenced more obviously when the absorption function of the intestinal tract is failed (such as the form structure and the function of villus of small intestine are changed) or the immune function is reduced. Especially, the yellow pigment deposition can be reduced due to the infection of infectious diseases or the occurrence of parasite infection, especially acute and chronic coccidiosis, salmonella, chronic respiratory diseases, and the like. Infectious anemia, hemorrhagic enteritis, infectious bronchitis, colibacillosis, newcastle disease, viral arthritis, etc., all cause poor coloration. In addition, when the liver or pancreas is diseased, the bile secretion is reduced, the absorption of fat-soluble lutein can be greatly reduced, and it is reported that the level of lutein in the blood serum of the broiler chicken infected with coccidium is reduced by 88%, and the total amount of lutein in the intestinal tract is reduced by 76%.

The invention selects the citrus fruits with the diameter less than 2 cm as the extraction raw material, and is particularly suitable for animal feed because the young fruits have little pulp and the content of bitter substances such as limonin which affect the appetite of animals is extremely low compared with the mature fruits. The citrus immature fruit extract contains a plurality of vitamins, such as vitamin E, vitamin B2 and nicotinic acid; contains multiple major and trace elements, wherein calcium, potassium, iron, zinc, selenium and copper are contained in the major elements; 1.9 to 3.5 percent of faint scent volatile oil (containing more limonene, humulene and linoleic acid ethyl ester); contains natural pigment such as carotene, cryptoxanthin, citrinin, xanthophyll, etc.; contains various glycosides, wherein neohesperidin is higher in content; contains pectin dietary fiber and other nutrients. Meanwhile, oleanolic acid of the glossy privet fruit extract can enhance the pigment transport of a transport system to an egg laying system by promoting blood circulation and improving the binding capacity of pigment and blood; therefore, the invention improves the chroma of the egg yolk under the premise of ensuring the healthy feeding of the laying hens by the synergistic effect of all components of the laying hen feed additive.

collecting young citrus fruits, drying the young citrus fruits for 12-24 hours at 40-60 ℃ in a vacuum drying oven to obtain the required young citrus fruits, and crushing the dried young citrus fruits to obtain 10-40-mesh fine powder;

mixing the crushed young citrus fruits with 70-90% ethanol in a mass ratio of 1: 6-10 in an extraction tank, performing reflux extraction for 2-4 hours, and then concentrating and drying to obtain a first extract and a first residue; the citrus young fruit is a citrus with the diameter of less than 2 cm;

mixing the first residue and 30-50% ethanol by volume in an extraction tank according to the mass ratio of 1: 6-10, performing reflux extraction for 2-4 hours, and then concentrating and drying to obtain a second extract and a second residue;

The premix used in the invention is any commercially available premix suitable for chicken feed in the prior art. The liquidambar formosana leaf extract and the glossy privet fruit extract used in the invention are extracted by an ethanol solvent through a conventional extraction method, and can also be purchased from commercially available liquidambar formosana leaf extract and glossy privet fruit extract.
