Background

The 3, 4-dihydroxy phenylethanol is a high-activity natural polyphenol compound, mainly exists in olive and other plants, and has good water solubility and lipid solubility. The anti-oxidation mechanism of the 3, 4-dihydroxy phenethyl alcohol is that the tri-form oxygen with lower singlet oxygen reduction activity is used as a hydrogen donor to reduce the generation of oxygen free radicals; combining with free radical with higher activity to form polyphenol free radical with low activity, and breaking free radical chain reaction; the 3-phenolic hydroxyl of the 3, 4-dihydroxy phenethyl alcohol can be chelated with metal ions, so that the accelerated catalysis of the metal ions to the oxidation reaction is reduced. In addition, the oily medium is used as a common and widely used solvent medium, and is applied in various industries such as food, medicine, daily chemical industry, mechanical industry and the like, such as edible oil, daily chemical silicone oil, lubricating grease and the like, the oily medium can be a single component (such as silicone oil) or a mixed component (such as blend oil), and the oily medium is also commonly used for anti-oxidation care, such as maintenance of mechanical equipment and the like.
