In order to solve the problem, asphalt mastic macadam (SMA) mixture is adopted as a paving material for the airport pavement. Compared with the dense mixed material, the SMA mixture has higher anti-rutting performance and water damage resistance. Because the surface of the composite material has larger structural depth, the SMA mixture provides excellent anti-skid performance for the airport pavement and provides guarantee for the safe operation of the airplane on the runway.
