1. A method for preparing mesophase pitch for high-thermal-conductivity carbon fibers is characterized by comprising the following steps:

(1) hot filtering petroleum residual oil at 100 deg.c to obtain refined residual oil with particle size not greater than 0.2 micron;

(2) atomizing refined residual oil, continuously injecting the atomized refined residual oil into a reactor, reacting at 460-480 ℃, and discharging a low-boiling-point product as a byproduct when the pressure in the reactor exceeds the set pressure of a valve at the top of the reactor; when the liquid level of the high boiling point product settled at the bottom reaches a certain height, the high boiling point product is discharged.

2. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the pore size of the filter element used for the hot filtration of the petroleum residue in the step (1) is less than or equal to 0.2 μm.

3. The method according to claim 1, wherein the atomized refined residue in the step (2) has an atomized particle size of 1 to 10 μm.

4. The method according to claim 1, wherein the set pressure of the top valve in the step (2) is 0.1 to 2.0 MPa.

5. The process according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the liquid level in step (2) is 5 to 10% of the height of the reactor.

The device applied to the method of any one of claims 1 to 5, which is characterized by comprising an atomizer and a reactor, wherein the upper part of the reactor is provided with a top one-way valve, the lower part of the reactor is provided with a bottom automatic liquid discharge valve, the atomizer is arranged at the top of the reactor, and an outlet of the atomizer is opposite to the reactor.

7. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the residuum enters the atomizer through a high pressure pump; the pressure of the high-pressure pump is 5-15 MPa.

8. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the reactor has a maximum design temperature of 550 ℃ and a design pressure of 5 MPa.
